This dress was so comfortable I could sleep in it. I'm sure if you wanted to wear the S or XS both would fit just fine. Only difference I noticed was the fit on your chest/shoulder area. I really loved it for a business casual/semi formal occasion. Definitely not formal enough for a true dressy occasion because of the material - but gorgeous and fun to wear nonetheless!

this was my backup dress for a wedding and thank goodness. i was 24 weeks pregnant at the time and it fit very well. it didn't look or feel "maternity" at all. felt great to wear. this picture i included of me in the dress doesn't do it justice.

I never wear Maxi dresses. With my short stature its really hard to find ones that fit. But this dress was amazing. It hit just in the right place and was super comfy. All my co-workers at my work party were in love with this dress.

I loved the color of this dress, however, when I took it out of the RTR bag, I noticed a lot of stray threads on the inside of the dress, and a rip at the seam of the bust. It was my backup dress for the rehearsal dinner. I ended up loving the original dress that I had ordered anyway, so it wasn't a huge deal, but I never would have worn it to the rehearsal dinner in the condition that it was in. (**Note: When I wrote to RTR to let them know about the condition, they responded immediately, and I was incredibly happy with the service). All of that being said, the dress was so pretty, I hated to NOT wear it, so I decided to wear it to the brunch the day after the wedding. Everyone was so bleary-eyed at that point that no one noticed the tear anyway :) It was ultra-comfy, though the fabric was a bit heavy, and a number of people commented that the color looked nice on me. I would love to rent it again for another occasion where I could show it off for more than an hour. PROS: Comfortable, Great Color CONS: (aside from the torn seam), Wrinkled Very Easily, A Little Heavy

Love the dress. The color pops and it is very comfortable and flattering. It does reveal your body shape a bit, so I ended up wearing spanks with it. Also, my strapless bra kept showing, so I ended up having to safety pin the dress to my bra. It worked, but if you can go with the medium for your body type if you are on the shorter side, I would. I'd definitely rent this again!

Great for people that are really petite and very summery!

I can't think of any cons. If you want a sure fit and flattering fit, this is it.

I am small in the bust area so it fit me okay there but if i were much bigger it would not have covered enough. that is the only comment against the dress I have!

I had noticed this dress on RTR several months ago and immediately put it on my "heart" list - I loved the color! I finally had the right occasion to rent it - for a friend's daughter's bat mitzvah. It was a GREAT choice - totally unique and fun, and dressy without being over-the-top (90% of the adult women there were wearing some sort of LBD). The material is a somewhat shiny nylon - not heavy. It is flowy enough to be forgiving in the waist and hips. You can wear a regular bra underneath it if the straps attach in the right place at the back (mine did!). It is definitely low-cut for a C/D, but not obscenely so - I wouldn't wear it to a church or synagogue without something to cover up, but in a "party" context it is totally fine. (The bat mitzvah service was held in the catering hall where the reception was, and I got the assurance from the family beforehand that cocktail wear was the norm.) The biggest difference between the M and L is length - the M would fit someone between 5'4" and 5'6". The L was way longer, but not appreciably bigger around in the bust (which was what I was worried about). Overall - loved it. Where can I buy one??

This too was my first maxi dress. It fit me so well. It was the perfect length, cut, and gave me a nice but of cleavage. I wore this for a wedding this past weekend. My husband loved, loved this dress. Everyone kept giving me compliments, even the wedding photographer! I hated putting it in the return bag and mailing it back because I'm so in love with the dress. This was my first RTR rental and it was the easiest experience. Cannot wait to rent something else!

It has a very flattering cut. Like others have said, the chest was a little revealing, but that is to be expected with a D. It was very comfortable and flowed beautifully. I STRONGLY suggest the ganesh bracelet with it. The bracelet stole the show!

I wore this to a wedding last week-end in a Medium and it fit perfectly (I'm normally a size 6.) I receieved a ton of compliments on the dress, it really stood out. The length hit right before the floor with normal size heels on, I'm 5'4". The bust was a little revealing, but I am a size D, so a B or C would be perfect.

This dress fit well and the color was absolutely beautiful. Everyone loved my dress! This is definitely a keeper and I will love to rent it again.

This fit me perfectly - it was so flattering on me. As a short girl with a larger bust, I often end up not looking too cute in certain dress cuts. But this one was gorgeous and complimented my figure. Too bad I didn't get any hem tape with the rental and couldn't wear it since it was too long. :( So disappointing!

Dress fit me perfectly and was super comfortable. I wore it with delicate gold jewelry. My only complaint is that the dress was not long enough, which I was surprised given that I am rather petite and normally things are too long for me and hence why I am giving this 4 stars. I wore 3-4 inch wedges and thought the dress could have been at least an inch or two longer. But other another beautiful dress from RTR. Thank you!

I rented this for a weekend vacation trip to my family reunion. I was impressed by the color & fabric. Someone stopped me in the hotel to rave about my dress. The unfortunate part was the fit. The size small fit well enough, would of liked more room but it was longer in length than the medium(I'm 5'7"). I would have preferred the comfortable fit of the medium because this dress is going to show EVERY curve the tighter it is. However, the small did fit & I had a great time. Side note: Also, disappointed that this dress went on clearance right before my reservation & they wanted me to return it, just to purchase it but not giving any credit for the rental, then send it back:/. So, in essence paying twice:( That doesn't seem fair. I wasn't doing that. It'll be a nice buy for someone! Enjoy!

This dress is stunning and at 20 weeks pregnant, was still very flattering. I would have given it 5 stars but there were a couple of issues with the dresses. The size small fit best but there are faint red wine stains right below the left strap. So I went with the medium. The stitching on the strap let loose halfway through the night and fell off - thankfully someone had a safety pin! I've informed the company and hopefully they can repair it b/c it is a gorgeous dress that I would definitely wear again!

This was a hard choice - the medium was a touch too short, but the large was waaay too large in the bust. I went with the medium and wore flat sandals.

This is a very clingy dress, and honestly of a lower quality than I would expect given the retail price. Needless to say, SPANX are a MUST, and I sized up because it draped better. Overall, it looked good, but I wouldn't order it again.

Nice on the model, but not on me. Very low cut and made me look fat.

I couldn't wear this dress for my event. I'm 5'10" and it was WAY too short for me, hit above the ankle! Also, from the pic I thought it was a brighter yellow but it was a very mustardy yellow color which looks awful on me. So bummed I couldn't wear it. It's a lovely dress and would look nice on the right person.

I ordered both the Large and the Medium. The large was way too large and the medium too tight. I guess it did not suit my body type. I have a coca-cola shape, so the problem really was at the waist /hip line. I usually wear a 12 petite or a 10 Regular.

I rented this for an engagement party, it's a great mix of dressy and casual. The small fit better but was way to short (I'm 5'8" without shoes) so I sized up. The medium was just a little roomy, I'm sure no one could tell, but let me comfortably wear a 3in heel. The fabric is really slinky and not at all see through, went with spanx to make sure no lines showed anywhere.

I'm 5'10" and the large fit perfectly (medium was a bit short). Beautiful dress!

Length was perfect with 4 inch heels. Color was amazing. Never have received so many compliments. I wore it with a white necklace and white shoes. Much better in person than on the page. Flatters all body types.
