Fit was great

This is a really sophisticated and beautiful dress! In person, the color is really rich and stunning! It was a pretty easy fit dress; however, it was very fitted in the bust. I would definitely recommend sizing up if you are bigger busted. It should also we worn with a strapless bra. This dress hit right above my knee, and I felt beautiful in it!

I have light olive skin and the rust color of the dress was very flattering. The dress has a lot of depth; texture of fabric, braid detail, weight of fabric. I found that the dress fit just perfect although I could have sized-up. The belt was to large and did not sit at my waist, even when in the belt loops. I feel like the dress would have looked more polished if it wasn't hanging from my waist. I noticed that the dress looked like it had been repaired along the zipper (fabric in one area pulled further away from the zipper, leaving an exposed area of lining. The belt covered this fix but it still bothered me.

Love the color - dress was stunning - belt was a little weird - didn't quite know what to do with it. But overall a great dress.

I got this as my backup dress, but ended up liking it so much that I wore it to the sangeet, the night before an Indian wedding. Because it was my backup, I only got it in one size and opted for the larger one. If I were to rent again, though, I'd definitely choose the smaller size. It runs true to size and is very forgiving. Really pretty, easy-to-wear dress. The belt really makes it.

The 10 was good- but very snug on the bust. I went with the 12 and the size 10 belt. The fabric is rich and bright! Great dress!

I rented this dress for a graduation! The dress ran true to size, but I am athletic and the size 2 ran tight on my arms and across the neckline. I would recommend sizing up for your backup. The dress hit me on the knee in 3" wedges. I would wear a strapless bra with this dress. My picture is without the belt, but I wish I had worn it! The pattern is much more interesting in person, almost leopard-ish. The material was not the most comfortable but provided a very interesting texture to the dress!

I liked this dress even more in person than on the site. The color is rich and beautiful (perfect for fall!) and I found the fit easy. The fabric has a nice sheen to it and held me in nicely (spanx would have really completed the look). I would size up for your back-up but overall very true to size!

The dress fit true to size, however I got a 6 and 8. I had to use the 6 belt because the 8 was to big. The color and fabric was amazing. The dress hit me right about the knee but the top kept the appeal. I would rent again!

beautiful color. a little tight in the chest, but I am a 34 d and have broad shoulders. hit just at the knee and I am 5'4. material is great.

I love, love, loved this dress. It was spectacular--beautiful fabric, very luxe but not too heavy or hot for a summer wedding. The particular dress I received wasn't in prime condition--I could tell it had been "in the rotation" at RTR for a bit, but it was still completely beautiful. The fit was perfection for me--I am definitely a pear shape (6 or 8 on top, and a solid 10 on the bottom), and it was small enough on top and roomy enough on the bottom, despite the fact that there was no stretch. I wore some Spanx but mostly just for the smoothness, not because the dress was tight. The length is so elegant--the dress hit me right at the knees, with a little slit that lets you sit and climb into cars comfortably. I wrapped the belt twice, tying it just in a knot on the side (I thought tying it in a bow was just a little too sweet for such a sophisticated dress). I accessorized with gold shoes, bag, and jewelry, but I think it would look so beautiful with gunmetal grey accessories, too.

fits true to size

I rented this for an October wedding. I run right between a 6 and 8, and the 8 fit more comfortably. The fabric is beautiful and the dress is cut nicely. It can be worn with or without the belt, but I thought it looked better with the belt. The color is really unique - one person told me it looked "exotic." I wore it with gold earrings and a gold clutch with strappy heels. I definitely recommend this dress for an afternoon-to-evening wedding - and the color is perfect for fall.

this dress has a lovely fabric that has this wonderful shine and texture under the sun. it was a perfect dress for a wedding at a vineyard in the fall. it ran a little longer than i expected (hit just below my knees) but still looked lovely.

Fit: I usually wear a 0 and the dress fit perfectly. The bust was a little tight but aside from that, I think it's true to size. Pros: Color is gorgeous, braided belt and shoulder adds a nice detail, easy to accessorize Cons: None!

The material was a little on the heavier side. I would've rather worn it to a fall wedding than a summer one. I also thought it ran true to Size so I wish I would've ordered a backup size down instead of up-- the stiffness of the fabric I thought was more forgiving for curves

I loved the way the dress looked and fit just right. It was a great color and style. I got tonz of compliments when I wore the dress.

Wasn't a great cut for my body type -- it felt a bit "bag-like". I did not love the material (it was a bit shinier than on the website)

Runs small in the bust - I have wide rib cage (on account of my bust), so this didn't work for me.

The color isn't as pretty in person as it looks in this picture. It was also too tight in the hips, but big in the waist. The belt also didn't come in the first shipment and I had to call and get it overnighted (which RTR was helpful with) but warning - this might happen!
