I wore the 14 so I would have room in the hip I couldn't have it too tight or short for this event and it slipped on perfectly without too much space in the waist either. A nice amount of shine and the perfect length I rarely have that issue bing only 5"5 but this fit the bill amazingly. My husband said I should definitely own this one. I love using RTR and I'll definitely continue.

I wore this to a private party at a club and it was the perfect dress! My husband's colleagues were there so I wanted something sophisticated but glamorous and it worked very well. I wore it with oversized gold earrings, bright red lipstick, and Ted Baker black and gold sandals... so many people asked me where I got the dress! I was a little nervous about renting something with sequins because I didn't want it to be over-the-top and I was concerned about the condition of a rented dress like this but it was in beautiful condition. The only thing is that the lining is a little too long but you can just tape it up.

This dress is sparkly, flattering, and very comfortable. It is a little stretchy, so it is easy to wear. I was surprised by the slightly gathered sleeves at the shoulders, this softened the look and made it even more flattering. As several other reviewers noted, the lining of this dress slides around and falls below the outer layer. If I had been going out to a party, I would have taped or pinned the lining up to keep it from showing. This dress was very cute and easy to wear and looked great. Happy New Year!

I didn't expect to look like the model in the picture, but when I was looking for the right dress this one looked like it would be a good fit overall. It was much more than I expected! I am 5'6" and weigh 127 lbs. I chose size 4 which was perfect, I didn't even try the backup size 6 I ordered. The only discrepancy vs the model pictures was that the dress was knee length for me, but that was to be expected. I wasn't sure about using RTR at first, but have a lot more confidence using this service in the future. The dress looked and smelled as new, the packaging was perfect and I rate the overall experience as 10 out of 10!

This was my back up dress, was a little iffy because it seemed very glitzy. My original dress wasn't available and I was so happy with this choice. I was very comfortable all night and able to dance the night away into the New Year. Sits right above the knee, wore a chunky ring and gold earrings and that was enough. Once again RTR, has made me feel sexy and comfortable. Looking forward to renting again. My cousin in the pic is also wearing a RTR dress ;)

It fit true to size, looked glamorous without being over the top, and the sleeves made it perfect for a Fall wedding. I have a large chest, and this dress was really flattering. I would definitely recommend it if you're a little bigger on top.

It was perfect for my occasion. It arrived on time and worked out great! The dress was true to a size 4 (ran close to a big size 4). I had room in the dress, but not too much room. It was comfortable with the extra room. The hem showed a little bit when I put the dress on (which I did not expect to happen because I didn't see the hem showing in any of the review pictures that I previewed before I ordered it) but it was fine, I pinned it up with the fashion tape rent the runway sent with my order.

This dress was a perfect 10 in my book. It was super comfortable and sexy. Unlike other sequin dresses I have worn, this wasn't scratchy at all. I typically wear a size 6 because I have a large chest but the 4 fit perfectly.

This is an elegant dress that is perfect for many occasions. I wore it to a charity fundraiser and received lots of compliments. The sequins add plenty of sparkle so I paired it with black peep toe shoes and a gold Whiting & Davis clutch. I usually wear a 4 and it fit perfectly.

I received this dress after the one I originally wanted was not available in my size. I absolutely love this dress! The fit was perfect - I did wear Spanx underneath to slim the middle area, but it's not tight fitting in the middle where you have to wear Spanx. I wore this for my first married Valentine's Day. My husband loved the dress, and so did everyone at the restaurant we went to. A waitress came up to me and said I reminded her of Adele at the 2012 Grammy's - I couldn't have been more flattered! This dress came as a surprise to me. One of my dresses was unable to ship and the amazing stylists at RTR sent this. This dress was perfect! I wore it for one of my boss' events and it was the perfect length (modest, right above the knee), comfortable and still had flare! I did have a little problem with the lining underneath (you can see it in the picture) and at one point thought that maybe it was supposed to be that way... looking at the model picture though, I don't think it is. I threw on a simple gold belt to tie in my jewelry and felt wonderful. Thanks again RTR!

I wore this for my bi-annual "Mommy-Daughter Photo Shoot" after my original Elie Tahari choice was unavailable due to Sandy. I needed something that would keep up with the cuteness of my little one and with this Elie Tahari dress, I knew I couldn't go wrong. The dress was very cute; just enough sparkle and coverage to serve its purpose. Great LBD.

I was nervous about which size to order, since I can be anywhere from an 8 - 12 in dress sizes. I ordered a 10 with a back-up size of an 8. The 10 fit perfectly! I received so many compliments on the dress. It made me feel classy and elegant, and I loved shimmering all night in the sequins! Super easy to order and return. Loved the whole experience, and I would definitely rent this dress again.

Perfect dress for a corporate Christmas party. The subtle sequins and simple style were ideal. The dress fits true to size. I could have worn a 6 but the size wasn't available when I reserved. A very easy dress to wear.

very fun yet age appropriate

This dress has great construction and seams in all the right places to be very flattering. It's sparkly but not in-your-face sparkly. I wore it to my engagement party and got a lot of compliments. The one negative is that the slip underneath is longer than the dress for some unexplainable reason but as many other comments recommended, I taped it up with double stick tape without a problem. All in all, a great dress that I would love to own.

I couldn't tell if the slip was supposed to hang down below the hem of the over dress. I didn't want it so I just folded it over into the top elastic of my panty hose.

I received this dress as a back-up for my back-up since they did not have a replacement available. It is a gorgeous dress, but I selected the other dress that I ordered to wear.

The dress fit very well. Some of the previous reviews mentioned the lining is longer than the dress when it is worn and that was the case for me also. I fixed it with fabric tape and it stayed on all night. I would still rent this again despite that flaw.

While I liked this dress a lot, you should keep in mind that this dress runs a little big. I usually wear 2-4(most times 4), but for this dress I had to choose 0 over 2. Besides, even though I'm between 5'6" and 5'7", the dress is a bit long. It actually runs slightly over the knee.

Great dress! Wore it for a charity work event - it was classy and professional in silhouette, but the sequins made it a little more sexy and young, so it was the perfect blend of sassy but sophisticated. Ran a tiny bit large - I am normally between an 8 and a 10, but probably could have worn a 6 in this for a more form-fitting look, but the 8 worked for this event. The lace/sequins did easily snag on things a little bit, but nothing major. I got lots of compliments from coworkers and strangers alike!

I'm 5'3'', and it hit just above my knees. Fits true to size, but I had the problem similar to others where the lining fabric was longer than the lacy sequins fabric. Easy fix with the fashion tape supplied by RTR.

Beautiful dress, but it is a little long. I'm 5'1" and I needed to pin the hem. The dress is so well made you could not tell AT ALL. It looked great and I felt super confident and comfortable in the dress all night!

i wore this to a military ball and was so comfortable! i've had twins so, not everything has gone back into it's original place. i wore stockings and didn't need much else. the length was very flattering- since i'm short it came right to the top of my knee. it was sparkly and didn't get caught on everything i came close to either. i would definitely rent this one again.

I usually wear a size four and the size four fit perfectly. I was happy that the waist came in just right. The dress was very lightweight and comfortable. The front hem did hang a little lower and I wasn't sure if the hem was supposed to come a little lower, it looked fine. I received many complements. I would rent it again.

If you're looking for something conservative yet glamorous, this is for you. Plain yet sparkly as it's 100% covered in beautiful sequins. I found it comfortable and enjoyed this rental.

I have to admit, I was expecting the dress to be a little more shimmery. It is hard to tell from the photo but it has a layer of lace over the sequins so they are more muted in person. It is very comfortable and looks great in photos. It travels well also. I packed it in a suitcase, and when I pulled it out, it didn't even need to be ironed. Overall, I was very happy and would rent this dress again.
