Amazing!
What a dress! Zips up the front. This allows you to be as sexy or conservative as you'd like. I wore a bra and switched the strap to 'halter' mode. I'm 5'9, wore 2 1/2 inch heels and the length was fine. I usually wear a 6, they only had a 4 available. It would have been snug if zipped all the way up. This definitely runs true to size.

Stylist Review!
This black gown is very elegant, and it's perfect for making an exit, with its sparkling beaded back detail. The zipper is in the front, which makes it especially easy to put on. It runs true to size, and it is great for any cup size. Although the fabric has some stretch, it is fitted at the natural waist and hips, so I suggest going up for backup. Curvy women should size up. I am 5'4, and it was floor length on me. As a result of the Halter neckline, I recommend wearing a strapless bra. I advise this dress to be worn by all body types except those that are Bump Friendly.

This was a great choice for a charitable black tie event.
The back of the dress is a cascade of silver beads. It is beyond beautiful and elegant. Very figure flattering gown.

You'll love this dress... I do!
I arrived at RTR on a last minute intense "need a dress for tomorrow" kind of situation and never used RTR before but I found online that they had a location in the Flatiron District so after work I walked over. Saw a few dresses I liked included this Escada dress. To try on, I tried it on backwards.. how you ask? I saw the zipper and in my head "zippers are always in the back or on the side"... right? Okay so the tags seemed to be in the wrong place but I didn't put any mind to it... just needed a dress. This was the third dress I tried on and fell in love even though it was backwards and everyone in the dressing room fell in love as well. So I tried on the size 36 at first and it was loose but not that loose. I had left the establishment to add money to my account and when I returned Jared had found the correct size and it looked even better. Listen ladies, I am in my 30s and not a mother nor do I have boobs so wearing it backwards worked really well for me. For me what is supposed to be the front is a bit matronly for my tastes. This way I was classy but showed sex appeal. The dress is long so I do not recommend short girls unless you have 10"stilettos to wear it. I am 5'6" and wore 4 inch heels. If you wear the dress my way, use a lot of tape to keep your boobs together. The reason I am using the first picture is so you can see my hair and makeup. :) Very little makeup and no jewelry except for my wedding band because the dress does all of the talking. The photo with me in the gown... well lets just say I should fire my husband as the photographer because I had no idea my head was tilted in all of the photos, nor did I know that I didn't have any lipstick on. :)
