This is a great casual beach hat. The fit is snug but not too tight. I was worried that it would be very metallic but it isn't at all. The brim is pretty floppy; I'd maybe prefer something a little stiffer. But overall this is a great hat for reading at the beach.

But got my money back!

Unfortunately, this hat was improperly packed, which caused the rim to be bent in odd shapes. The hat itself was packed oddly (improperly folded before it was placed in a soft bag); but more importantly it came in a soft bag with no protection. I contacted RTR and they offered to refund the purchase or send me a new rental up to twice the hat's value. Overall, great customer service from RTR. However, I would be wary about renting a straw hat from RTR given that this one was sent in a soft bag with no protection.
