This was so comfortable and elegant! I wore a medium which is my typical size, and while I think the small would have been too small, I would say this dress runs *slightly* big. The shoulder is wide and there's plenty of fabric, which was great for a fall wedding in New England, but I did feel it made me look a little top heavy. Overall I enjoyed wearing this dress and would recommend!

I wore this to a masquerade ball. The slit did not go up too high, so I was able to dance without worrying about flashing anybody. And I was even able to wear a strapless/convertible bra with one strap on. The dress hugged my curves in all the right places, and I got so many compliments on it. I normally wear a size medium top and size 6 or 8 jeans and the small fit me perfectly.

This dress was my second option after my first option just didn't flatter my body type. I am so grateful that RTR has guarantee fit; they sent this dress the next day. This dress was a great fit and beautiful color. I wore a XL but could have done a L as well.

Fit perfectly, comfortable, and flattering. The velvet is stretchy and perfect for an hourglass figure. The fabric is warm which was perfect for a chilly evening. I’m 5’4 155 lbs and it was just the right length with a modest heel

Ordered this dress for a March wedding in Estes Park, CO. It was fabulous. So comfortable, perfect length, and loved the overall look. It was a little big under the arm but nothing a little double sided tape couldn’t fix. Would order again.

Wore this to a gala and received so many compliments. It traveled well and only required a strapless bra. The fabric rubbed the skin under my arms which I didn’t realize until I got home, it was not painful. I wore it for about 5 hours- standing, walking, bending down, sitting, dancing and it was perfectly comfortable. I recommend this dress!

I ordered the large but was too big. The medium fit perfect! Got so many compliments on this dress! It’s very comfortable. If you wear shape-wear, be sure you don’t wear the ones with shorts. They will show since the slit is pretty high. The length was perfect with a 3” heal!

I was skeptical at first but when I put this dress on, it felt like it was made for me ❤️. So many compliments from friends and strangers alike. It hugged the body in all the right places, the ruching along the side and tummy area were just right. The length with 2 in heels was also spot on. Plus super comfy to wear the whole night. The chest area was a little loose but if I had, had a strapless bra to wear that would have filled the area a tad more. Will definitely rent again!

I am size 4-6, 34 DD and the small fit me literally perfectly. I wore high cut panty spanx to accommodate the slit which is quite high. This dress is elegant and hides flaws. Also very comfortable due to nice fabric. I did not have to wear a bra either which was unusual for me. Overall I would highly recommend this dress!!

1.5 heel was perfect because it allows it to drape but not drag. Felt like a hottie in this sapphire velvet dress. Perfect for white and black tie events.

Fit like a dream, super comfortable and very easy to wear. Honestly, short of sweat pants, I don't think I could've been more comfortable. So unusual to have a formal dress that does squeeze you or involve pulling and tugging. I got lots of compliments on the elegant look.

I sized up (party due to reviews and partly due to a couple extra pounds from the holidays, tbh). Loved it. Felt glamorous and comfortable all night— even during the multi course dinner! It was long. I am 5’ 8” (longer legs than torso) and wore low heels (all I had- with RTR did shoes too-ha) — the dress barely cleared the floor.

This dress is the PERFECT winter wedding dress. It is incredibly comfortable and hugs all the right places. I’m 5’2 150 pounds and curvy and I went with the small petite. Any bigger the sleeve would’ve looked like it had too much room.

I wore the Elle Zeitoune dress (in a size Small) to a Christmas party and WOW — this dress did not come to play. The material was absolutely delicious… smooth, luxe, and hugged in all the right places without feeling restrictive. The fit? Legendary. I couldn’t walk five feet without someone complimenting it. As a pear-shaped girlie, I felt like the bell of the ball — snatched at the waist, perfectly skimmed over my hips, and just overall chef’s kiss. Very nice fit. Comfortable dress as it has some stretch and the velvet is good quality. Slit was higher than expected but still mostly appropriate for a work gala. The small fit great. I’ve been a size six recently due to wider hips/thighs but my waist is still pretty small. So the flex in this dress worked well.
