The fabric is so terrific. It hangs well, is not overly heavy and does not wrinkle. The color is beautifully rich. It was perfect for a wedding. It has a fairly open back and sides. I have B cups so I didn't wear a bra. It hid my panza/fuppa so nicely and gave me that "small" waist look without pinching me. Honestly, I was so pleased with how it looked that I didn't even think about side-boob until afterwards. I hope I didn't give anyone an inappropriate view but I felt so great that I didn't care. You might want to tan up on the shoulders. Wish I would have. The top is held on with 2 buttons behind your neck. I double checked the buttons were secured. It was such a great choice. I felt so good all day long. Hope you do too. Oh the skirt has volume, so if you spin on the dance floor, it will flare out but the fabric is heavy enough to keep it down to knee, thigh level. I guess if you spin really hard, you could achieve Marilyn Monroe fame. I didn't and I still felt great.

Wish i could keep it and wear it all the time! the dress hit at the perfect length at the ankles so heels were great but the switch to flats half way though was also seamless. Definitely had to tape the dress but other than that loved the fit.

Loved this dress, the A line made it flattering in the midsection and it was really comfortable. I was happy I could wear a strapless bra with it too

Wore this to a friend's work holiday party, and it was gorgeous! I'm 5'3" and it hit right above my ankles. Note that you need to *cross* the straps at the top for the halter to sit properly / snugly. It makes a huge difference and isn't immediately clear.

I rented this dress for a formal wedding in October and was super happy with how everything went. The dress actually came a day early, which was awesome! It was a really pretty, thick material, and the fabric was forgiving, which I loved. In person, the color leaned more towards purple, closer to burgundy than a true red or maroon. The only slight issue was the top—I'm pretty busty and the medium was a little tight, but the large was too baggy. I ended up going with the medium and made it work. If you have a smaller chest, you might need some fabric tape, or it might work better if you have a longer torso. Overall, the whole process was so easy and a great deal! I’ll definitely use Rent the Runway again in the future.

Perfect dress for a Fall wedding

The fit is true to size. I got a backup size just incase. A medium fit just right. The material is like satin, but it’s thick and good quality.

Super pretty color and fun to twirl around in. I think some of the reviewers might have put this dress on wrong. The top needs to cross over each other before buttoning in the back. Still a little side boob action, but had fun wearing this one!

Loved the weight and flow of the dress, color was also sophisticated and festive for a Christmas party. Ordered a 4 and 6, the 4 was still too big around the bust and would be more ideal for a build with a longer torso. Overall a beautiful dress with very classic details.

Ballroom gown worn for competing.

Normally wear a 2/4 but this XS was a little big for me. The waist was sort of baggy looking and the top was a tad too big, but it didn’t bother me the whole night and I got so many compliments!!

Worn to a military ball in Hawai'i. Really high quality fabric and the pleats are beautiful! Top showed just enough skin, without being too crazy exposing. Only issue was the top kept slipping down, but this could've been fixed with some tape. Follow @do.nothing.girl on Insta for more <3

Great dress for a fall wedding. I needed some fashion tape to keep the top in place in the back because the halter style doesn’t give a lot of support and I used pasties rather than wear a bra but I’m sure you could wear a strapless bra with this too. The dress looked great and I got tons of compliments.

Saw this dress and wanted it to work for an upcoming wedding, but sadly the top portion of this dress is way too large and seems disproportionate to the rest of the dress. Ordering down might be the best bet on this one.

The color is beautiful, but it was a lot longer than I anticipated. Also, the top is definitely big I had to safety pin it.

It was a great dress to wear for a wedding. Only thing I will say is while the dress is very flattering the top is a little tight with the zipper but then slips down some with the straps. I would say you will probably need to size up for the chest area.

It felt very nice to wear! The weight felt great and twirled beautifully. I'm 5'2" and the dress landed a little above the floor without heels on, but with them, I think it fit perfectly. I have a longer torso and shorter legs as well.

Loved the color, perfect for a fall wedding in warm climate. The cross cross halter neck was comfortable and a nice accent. The flowing pleated skirt was comfortable. Was able to dance til midnight. The only issue was the hanger loops (for hanging the dress on a hanger) kept coming out on the sides of the bodice. So I was constantly adjusting the dress to put them back in.

If you’re busty on top, this is the dress for you. The medium fit just about perfect, although the zipper clearly is overstretched as it rippled rather than laying flat. Perfect for a fall wedding!

It fit a bit snug on my torso and because it is more loose on my breast area I should have invest in tape to prevent side boob action which at some point I stopped caring; picture shown. I ended up wearing the Large. I will rent a different style to try out next time. Also I wore a pinkish sandal and black carry on purse with it.

It’s a nice dress, the fabric of the bottom part is a bit too thick for the spring wedding I needed it for so I didn’t wear it. The x at the front is beautiful but it felt a bit suffocating to me, not sure if I would survive a whole night with it

The top on this is confusingly large. The arm/back cutout sat way too low and exposed a lot of bra/side chest. Didn’t wear. I’m not sure if sizing down would work as the waist of the dress is TTS.
