The stretchy fabric is high quality and warm. I felt glamorous and comfortable all night. It fits very snug but flattering with Spanx. My husband had to help me with the zipper since it fits so close to the body. The small was too tight in the hips but the medium was perfect for my body type.

I rented this to wear to an awards ceremony at work. The dress fit wonderfully and the fabric is really thick and constricting… In a good way! I received so many compliments and felt great in the dress. It really was stunning. The color is a beautiful burnt orange and looked great with gold shoes and earrings.

I absolutely LOVED this dress and would've just bought it if I could. The fit was incredible and the cut would compliment anyone. The fabric was a thicker material so although it hugged, it was still slightly stuff so it gave you shape rather than hug your rolls. Seriously, GORGEOUS dress.

I rented this for an opera gala, and it worked well! The dress is a unique style, got tons of compliments. In pre-pandemic times I wore a size 6; now I’m probably an 8. This dress was a Large petite. I also ordered the shorter version of this dress in a Medium, but that was too tight in the waist/hips. The Large fit well in those spots and was probably a little loose in others (and in some pics with bad lighting it looked like a tent), but overall it worked nicely. It was a thick, good-quality, comfortable material, and the color was very pretty in person.

This dress was so lovely and I received so many compliments!!! It was so complimentary because the fabric was a nice thick and forgiving fabric and the color was lovely. I was able to wear both spanx and a strapless bra. It was comfortable to walk in and dance in all night long! I would 1000000% rent this dress again!

I have very broad, muscular shoulders and thought this dress did an amazing job of making them look more feminine. No issues with the sleeves riding up, but the zipper was a bit sticky and the small size unfortunately was still a bit too long even with heels on. I got tons of compliments on the color at a black-tie wedding and found it to be extremely comfortable. Fabric is very flattering so didn't even need to a bra or Spanx underneath! Loved it!!!

I wore this dress to a gala in 90+° weather and it was great! The inside liner is net material, so even thought the dress was made of a thick material it was very comfortable to wear in hot weather. The only drawback is the mobility of one of your arms because of the neckline. Lots of compliments and a unique color!

I really liked this dress! It was comfortable and I loved the color. The dress isn't ideal for a lot of dancing, because of the arms, I mean, it didn't stop me, but I did have to keep adjusting. It's a great choice to stand out a bit in a sea of black gala dresses.

Fit great, sucked me in a little bit too! My only complaint was the straps to hang the dress. They kept popping out, but had I prepared early enough I could have fixed that.

This dress fit like a glove and was so flattering on. It's a thick material that pulled everything in (almost like scuba material). I didn't end up wearing it because I went with a more sparkly option and this may have been too constricting for dancing. I tried to get a closeup to show what the color looked like more in person; it's not quite as dark as the full length photo (excuse my dog who refused to move for any of the photos). I'm 5'0 and the dress barely dragged in bare feet and still long enough for tall heels so I thought it was perfect for short girls. Overall great dress and if I find another opportunity to wear it, I would definitely rent again.

This dress was amazing! Great thick fabric, and had just the right amount of stretch to be feel comfortable but still secure. Neckline was so fun but still elegant enough for the black tie wedding.

Loved this dress! The shoulders take the dress up a notch so it's not too plain. I'm heavier chested and it covered everything perfectly and with no bra. The material is super flattering! Only down side that is off the shoulder is the right one so dancing and/or lifting your arm up is difficult- regardless would still recommend!

I loved this dress! Size 4 was perfect! Size 2 was a bit tight for anyone who’s a little more curvy in the hips and butt! Wasn’t too long either. I wore with a 4” heel but ended up with no shoes by the end of the night with no problem!!

It was perfect for a black tie wedding. It was roomy around the waist and back but not too obviously big. It was definitely long for my height 5"3 and my 3" inch heel but I was able to dance and walk.

The dress was big all around and a couple inches too long on me even with 5" heels. I wore this for an outdoor wedding that was quite cold at night so the thick material was a plus. The zipper was hard to get past the side a lil above the waist, but easy to take off. I didn't need to wear a bra which was nice - just pasties.

I rented both the XS and the S in both this color and the black version that is also offered from RTR. The sizing with the colors is NOT consistent at all, so be wary of that! The S on the black was sooooo tight, whereas the small in the rust gave me a little extra room. S Black was the perfect length, S rust was way too long, even with 3.25 inch heels. Sadly I couldn't make it work

I wore this dress for a winter wedding where the attire was Cocktail. I wanted to wear a longer dress because of the weather but didn't want to feel too dressy! Because of the color and material this dress can be dressed up or down! I'm normally an XS but wore the S because the XS was a little too snug in the right arm and hips. The S was a little roomier but worked in my favor and felt more comfortable dancing the night away! Highly recommend this dress!

I loved wearing this dress. I wasn't sure how it was going to fit, especially because of the length and the bust (which is normally my challenge - small bust), but it ended up being perfect. I loved the material: it wasn't too thick or too thin. The slit was just high enough to make it appropriate. The shoulder was a little tricky at times because if it doesn't sit on the upper arm, you will see creases on the drape-over, so you will know where it should sit on your arm. I was so impressed by the number of "Oohs" and "Aahs." I highly recommend this dress and this experience.

This dress is amazing. Super thick and stretchy fabric so very comfy and flattering. My boobs always make finding a dress difficult but this was perfect. The fabric was thick enough to hold them in so I didn’t even need a bra. I wore stick on petals but it probably wasn’t necessary. I wore a thong but in retrospect you could kinda see it so no underwear or spanx might be better. I wore 2in sandals with it. My only concern is that there’s only a couple stitches holding the fabric over the chest in place and in my alternate size they were loose and it looked terrible. But the one I actually wore didn’t have that problem. I could almost get the SR on but couldn’t quite zip it so I went with the MR. I got so many compliments and felt amazing, definitely get this dress!!

Beautiful and stretchy dress. So fun and comfortable to wear and received many compliments! I do recommend getting a smooth undergarment (like spanx) to go underneath because it does pick up all underwear lines. The slit is also fairly high so most under-shorts will be too long.

Beautiful rust colored gown for a formal wedding. Thick structured fabric, the slit makes it Va Va Voom, wore a strapless bra and no need for spanx. Easy to move and dance in, and the cut at the top adds an avant-garde feel to the silhouette.

Dress fit perfectly. I picked it, due to its simplicty and elegance. Rent the Runway, should have a better way of tracking that it sent this dress to two people in HI in the same general reason for the same night. What are the odds that two people are going to the same ball, the same night and sit at the same table!? This is frustrating. Everyone wants to look spectacular for their significant other and make these moments special. Not achieved here! RTR should have options asking each person a little more details and have an alert system, warning, that someone else is renting for the same period in the same area (i.e. shipping address or zip code), when renting, to prevent these types of mishaps. I cannot imagine any female having issues taking the time to answer a couple questions of what type of an event, where is the event and the date. This information doesn't need to be public, but give a warning of the possibility of having a twin. I intend to contact RTR and send pics, as it is not lady like to put the other person's picture on here, without her consent, but I'm going out on a limb, that she was probably not pleased either, as she was in good spirits about it.

Love this dress. The material is very thick which makes it forgiving in the stomach region lol. The part that hangs off the shoulder stayed put, for the most part. I'd have to adjust occasionally but that wasn't a big deal. I'm pretty busty so that probably helped the off-the-shoulder part stay up. The red was slightly darker than the photos which I preferred. The slit is truly on the side - not in the front whatsoever. Overall great dress! Do it!

Between the tiny bit of stretch to the fabric, the slit on the side, and the way the neckline hung, this dress was super comfortable. Other than the hanger straps which popped out a couple of times during the night, I never felt like I had to adjust the dress at all. I ended up wearing the MR and felt great in it. Got tons of compliments, but before I left the house, I said to my husband, "Even if I get zero compliments tonight, I love this dress and I think it looks so good." :) Nothing beats an outfit that gives you that kind of confidence! Also, I had read other reviews about the "rust" color and was really happy with it, especially for an event where at least 100 other women were wearing red. I would definitely rent this one again!

The Medium was too big overall, but the Small was tight across my large bust. The weight of the dress allowed the Medium to hang nicely while still skimming, rather than hugging, my curves. This dress was a pleasure to wear as it was comfortable from dinner all the way thru the after party. Very pleased!!!
