Wore this dress to a rehearsal dinner. The material was thick and very flattering. It was perfect for a winter event with tights. Dress was TTS. Only complaint was the neckline was a bit high and caused some irritation on my skin by the end of the evening.

This little dress is all prim and proper in the front, but like a mullet, the party is in the back. Comfortable and with pockets. I wore it with fishnets and cowboy boots. It was perfect for Christmas when you want to be not full on dressy b/c your hosts were legit in jeans and barefeet but a step up from Marvel/DC tee and denim.

Because the arms are puffy and no support to hang you'll want to go for a size smaller. Other than that it's very flattering and a beautiful color. Sexy back cut made for extra compliments!

I was a little unsure about the shoulders but the dress was super cute on. It has a unique stylish cut, and the fabric is a nice thick quality that gives it this nice classy look. And obviously the back is the real show stopper for this dress. I loved it!

I rented this for an outdoor April wedding in North Carolina and it was perfect for the weather! Very comfortable dress with a pop of fun in the shoulders. I loved the material, the back, the shoulders and the pockets! I received so many compliments!!

The color of this dress first caught my eye, but the sleeve detail, low back, and pockets won my heart.

I normally wear a size 0 or 2 but have put on a few lbs in recent weeks. I'd say if you are a true petite 0 or 00 this might not be the dress for you as it fit me well and it might be a little too roomy for many ladies I know who are smaller than I. I was also worried about the back gapping but it actually laid quite nicely throughout the evening without using any sticky tape. The material is thick so the right person might be able to get away without a bra. My nipples always shine through so I opted for a sticky bra which did just the trick. The back really is the perfect surprise element on this otherwise-conservative silhouette. Received so many compliments! Also, I am mid-30's and trending away from the super short mini-dresses so this style hitting a few inches above the knee was just perfect for me!

I ordered this dress just 2 days before my work Christmas party. It arrived within 2 days, mid day on the day of my party. I had SO many compliments on this dress it made me feel so beautiful. The sleeves did slip a little, but was worth wearing!

Easy to dress up or done! I'm a 4/6 top with 8 hips and usual get a 6 dress. The waist of this dress fit perfectly, although I did find it to be a little large in the shoulders. Back is stunning. Overall I will likely rent to purchase next time.

Likes: the open back, pockets, length (I'm 5'6", hit above the knee without feeling uncomfortably short), rich green color, overall fits true to size. Dislikes: high neck line irritated my neck, felt a bit tight on my diaphragm, scrunches up a bit when you put your arms up.

Fit fairly well, but back was very open—too revealing for my office party. Luckily this was the backup dress Rent the Runway sent for free and not the one I planned on wearing to the event!

I’m 5’7” 130 pounds and I wore the size small. It was a little tight and irritated my neck but I’m small chested so it was the far better option. I loved it. It was a little high in the waist for me. The dress was a heavy fabric and a pretty muted color.

Loved this dress for a nice dinner out. V. classy and conservative from the front but fun and flirty with the backless style. Thick fabric that I wouldn't wear in the heat, but makes it possible to wear without a bra. Neck comes up quite a bit in the front, sometimes felt a little awkward. And pockets!!!

Love this dress! I was a little hesitant at first about the sleeves being too puffy, but it was beautiful and I got so many compliments. The open back is perfect with the conservative front, not too long or too short in the front. Overall, a very flattering dress!

A bit tight in the shoulders if you have broad ones, but an otherwise great dress. Hit about 1.5 - 2 inches above my knee. I liked the thick fabric and gorgeous sage/slate green color.

I ended up going with something else. But this was my second runner up. I have not historically been comfortable going braless but would have with this using some petals and boob tape. The fabric is thick and sturdy. If you have wide shoulders don't get this. The puffy shoulders will add bulk.

I rented this as an option for a wedding but did not wear it. The puffed sleeves accentuated my broad shoulders in an unflattering way, and there was a distinct line of fabric underneath the waist that looked very unflattering. The back requires fashion tape unless you’re okay with some gaping.

This was such a great dress for my friend's baby shower. It fit perfectly and the surprise detail of open back gave it a little extra flare. I also loved that the shoulders were puffed up, it gave the piece some extra interest. I will definitely rent this dress again!

I ordered this to wear to my cousins winter wedding but ended up being asked to be a bridesmaid in the end. I was very excited to wear this dress because it fit me like a glove up top but still offered a flattering look from the waist line down. The Loback was also very flattering yet classy and sexy all at the same time.I would definitely rent this again.

I didn't end up wearing this because I wanted a longer gown for my work event. This dress is so beautiful that I wished I could have worn it to something else. The sleeves make it look elegant in the front, and the open back gives it a sexy feel. I would definitely rent this again!

The fabric on this is a scuba material which I actually find pretty flattering. I wasn't able to wear the XL as I rented this as mostly a back up and it was too small for me. I am more of a 14 and I would say the listed size 10 is true, maybe a 12 if you are smaller on top than bottom. The color is a bit of a soft emerald and I love the sleeves. It was a bit shorter than I like even though I'm only 5t3. If you are in the size range for this and don't mind the open back I would say go for it.

I loved the open back on this dress, but given how thick the fabric is (usually a good thing), there was some weird gaping going on in the back depending on my posture or where my arms were. I sized down to minimize this problem and make the waist fit but then the high neckline was a bit tight on my collarbone and rubbed it all night, leaving a mark. Dress is a beautiful color.

The color of this dress and the fabric was wonderful! The only reason I give it a 4/5 is because it was a bit big up top for me. It's definitely a balance because you cannot wear a bra with this dress, but because of the open back, it made the shoulders lose, which didn't offer too much support. Since I'm small-chested, it worked for me - just beware!

This was my backup style, and I ended up wearing it! I did get a lot of positive remarks on the dress! I'm an hourglass/curvy figure and it did feel slightly tight at times (whereas the size I got normally fits me), but I could definitely sit and breathe. I was worried that the shoulders would be too sharp, but it only bunched up when I went to go hug people. It's a little on the short side, at least for me, so you may want to keep that in mind. Really, overall, the dress was beautiful and I'm glad I got to wear it!

Really cute but I would have been uncomfortable if I had worn it all night. I have a small waist so normally dresses fitted at the waist in an xs fit.

I rented this as a potential dress for a movie premier . The dress is a beautiful color and the material is structured and high quality. From the front it looked amazing on me. But the dress is totally backless and it would not allow me to wear a bra. I'm a 36DD so I can't go braves and the idea of contorting myself into some low back crisscross bra did not seem comfortable. I tried to wear a body suit under it but that did not work either. The only other thing is that while the zipper was a bit hard to get up the open area gaped and was too large on me. I suspect it's because I'm petite and have no shoulders.

I tried this on immediately because this was the dress I was most excited about in my unlimited order. Unfortunately, it did not flatter my shape. The shoulders poof up slightly and made me look broad. I think a smaller frame would be the best fit for this dress.

I LOVED the color, the back, and material of this dress BUT I didn't end up wearing it for engagement photos as I felt like the shoulder were a little too intense in person and was worried it may look weird in our photos... The arms and chest were a little snug (I'm a 34B) and it hit mid thigh on my 5'11" frame.
