This is definitely meant to fit as a loose, flowy dress, so I recommend the size up. It is very light fabric and not body-controlling (also doesn't stretch), so I don't recommend a tight fit for most. The fabric does wrinkle easily, so be sure to take it out of the bag and let it hang free well before wearing. I kept it in the bathroom to have the shower steam help the wrinkles, and they fell out as easily as they went in. The underskirt is definitely very short, but the overskirt is flowy enough that it covers enough if you pay attention to how it falls when sitting, do I wasn't worried about that. I did add a safety pin in the bust because it only has a small stitch to keep it closed and can leave a large gap if you lean forward or slouch. The medium dress I ordered (but didn't wear) was missing that stitch altogether, so just be aware you may need to give this part of the dress some attention before wearing. Overall, it was a great dress for an outdoor SoCal wedding!

Im usually a size 4 and this runs small. There is a band in the seam in the middle that was a bit uncomfortable. Also the front is very low cut you cannot wear a bra with it. The dress also has a fabric that wrinkles easily so you should have a steamer on hand if you get it. Otherwise it is a stunning dress and I absolutely loved it. I would buy it for sure and would absolutely wear it again.

Loved this dress. Wore a strapless bra but it was very plunging and showed my bra if I wasn't careful. Needed to wear a bra because the material was thin. Perfect for an outdoor FL engagement party. Wore with tan heels

I'm an international DJ and finding RTR was a Godsend. I am so appreciative of all your reviews because I read them all before renting. I wore the 6 in this and it felt super comfortable. I could've maybe went to the 4 but this was a classy event so I felt better it being a little more than a little less. The color is amazing. With blonde hair and blue eyes , coral always compliments me. The color was true to the pic and the dress was comfortable which I love because my events can be long. The fit was perfect around the waist, I'm a 32 DD and it was a bit loose around the bust. Perfect length. All in all a great dress, and I highly recommend it. The only problem was when it arrived it was so wrinkled it looked as if it wasn't steamed beforehand

Wore this to a California wedding where I wanted to stand out with some color, and this dress totally POPPED! Got compliments all night. I have a pretty straight figure, but this dress with the cinch at the waist was able to create some curves! The neck is definitely low, and thankfully I didn't need to wear a bra, but if you do I'd definitely recommend stickies. The fabric wrinkles (so either iron or have wrinkle release) but once I wore it I felt subtly sexy, something that's definitely out of my comfort zone! It was pretty much true to size.

This dress was great! Very comfortable, ton of compliments. Only con, it wrinkled very easily. I ordered the M as my 1st choice, L as 2nd. The renter before me didn't return the M in time so I was only sent the L (and a free backup courtesy of RTR for the inconvenience). The L was doable but definitely would've been happier in the M.

Better for someone who is a bit more endowed in the chest. I had to use fashion tape to make sure there were no wardrobe malfunctions. The high-low was perfect for my petite frame. Great color, perfect for our dinner out in the Hamptons!

I'm 5'9 and 125 lbs. 34d. I ordered the xs and the small. I ended up going with the small. The xs was way too short at the shortest part. The neckline was different on both. The xs was switched at a modest level and the small, someone who had the dress before me ripped the stitching so it was wayyyy too low. I luckily had orange thread and stitched it to a moderately low cut and went with it. I was able to wear a normal bra with it. The material wrinkles VERY easily. I took the dress out the day before and sprayed half a bottle of downy wrinkle release spray on it to try to get the wrinkles out. I went to an outdoor wedding and where I had sat with my legs crossed, I had wrinkles when I stood back up. But all it all it was a perfect dress and was not too hot for an outdoor wedding. I would recommend this dress to others for sure.

Definitely couldn't wear a bra with it, but a couple of band aids helps with any headlights. The dress fit perfectly, and had just the right amount of movement for the outdoor event. It's true to color, and looked great even on my paler skin tone.

This dress is perfect if you're in the mood for something fun and different. It's a little more coral than orange which was a surprise for me but I still loved it. Fit nicely too. I could have worn a sx but it was just a little tight and I love to dance so I wanted a roomier fit. This dress was tacked at the neck line so I did not have the problem a lot of other people have reviewed with a SUPER low neck. A safety pin would have done the trick if it wasn't tacked together already. Totally loved it!

I ordered a small and a medium for the outdoor wedding I attended. I was originally going to go with the small, because it felt like it was fitting better up top, but I ended up going with the medium for some extra comfort and wiggle room elsewhere. Whoever rented the dress before me had a stitch added to the bust so that was actually kind of a blessing in disguise so I wouldn't flash everyone at the wedding! It was easy to dance in, easy to sit in, and was an amazing pop of color in photos. I wore a regular bra (probably SHOULD have worn a strapless, but I was going for comfort!) Much like other reviews said, the material wrinkled SO easy. I didn't mind too much, and it's only super obvious in the end of night photos. Would DEFINITELY wear this dress again!

I ordered both a S and a M. The M I felt could've been tighter but the S wouldn't zip all the way. Overall though it's a very flattering, sexy dress. The color is not as orange as in the picture it's more of a salmon/coral color. It's a great color for a spring/summer wedding! The inside part of the dress is a little short (I'm 5'10") but it didn't feel too revealing because of the style of the dress. I did have to pin the top because my bra would show otherwise. You could totally wear a regular bra with this dress which was convenient and comfortable! Definitely recommend this dress for a sexy, fun, flirty look!

Perfect for a backyard wedding! I'm smaller on top and larger on bottom so I need to wear the medium. It was big on top so I had to pin it. Super pretty color and comfortable. Also the material is easily wrinkled, but after standing for a bit, they looked better.

I rented this for a rehearsal dinner and I loved it! The medium fit perfectly but I did have to safety pin the front because I have a big chest and it was pretty low cut. Other than that the color was beautiful and it was very comfortable, would definitely recommend!

I loved this dress! Perfect color for a spring/summer wedding! I got so many compliments, and overall it was a great dress. Runs true to size and I was able to wear a strapless bra with it! I'm about 5'10 and 140, C cup and the medium was the perfect size! It hits in all the right places and is just super flattering and fun! Tall ladies just be conscious of the short skirt that is underneath the asymmetrical skirt. Overall, GREAT dress! Would rent again, or even consider purchasing!

This dress was really lovely for an outdoor wedding (in weather that was supposed to be spring!). The XS fit my hips well but I am pretty flat on top so needed to pin it to keep from falling out of the top. Otherwise, the dress was flowy and fun. Lots of movement with walking. Would definitely again!

There is no give in the waist and the bust area is revealing, especially if you have a bigger chest. I had to rig it so that the girls didn't pop out. It's a daring plunge, but still looks great! I felt so beautiful in this dress. I had the XL and L shipped to me and ended up going with the XL.

The under skirt is pretty fitted but there is a significant difference in the small and medium so I stuck it out with the small for the overall look of the outfit. Loved getting to wear a regular pushup with the low cut front, two sided tape is a must. The downside is that whoever rented it before me put a stitch in the bust area and when I removed it, it left a weird little raised hole in that area. There was also a small stain on the train, but with it being an evening wedding I wore it anyway and hoped it went unnoticed.

Unusual, fit perfectly

Perfect for a Florida wedding. It was my back up dress, and I ended up wearing it to the rehearsal dinner which included a Winter Park Boat Tour. It was perfect for the warm afternoon in the sun. Light weight so very comfortable. The bright and pale orange color ( it was a bit paler in person than in the picture) complimented my slightly paler skin tone and made me look like I had a bit more color/tan than I actually do. I liked this dress better than the one I wore to the wedding, (it was more comfortable and more flattering to my shape, which is smaller bust, bigger tush) but it was a bit informal for the wedding, so I wore it the night before. Overall fit was true to size, but forgiving material and style made it great for me since I'm sometimes S in chest but a M in hips. The size small in this dress worked just fine.

I selected a medium, because I was concerned my pear shaped bum wouldn't fit into this dress (there is NO stretch in this fabric). BUT, I could have worn a small which is what I usually wear in dresses, because I don't have much of a bust. I love that this dress was regular bra friendly. If you go braless, definitely invest in some dress tape, so the front does't fall open. The body of the dress is form fitting and short underneath the flowing fabric. If you are shy about upper thighs, I recommend nude hose. I'm in love with the asymmetry of this dress and the fabric drapes beautifully. Lastly, make sure you have access to an iron pre-event. The dress is stunning when pressed!

This was such a different dress than something I'd usually pick! I wore the small c XS was way too snug. Flowy but flattering. The color in my photo is pinker than the dress really is, the RTR photo is the true color.

My friend had a "Miami Vice/Cuba" style wedding, so when I saw this dress, I knew it would fit perfectly with the theme. I feel like a star in this dress. It was absolutely comfy and stunning. I wore a Nu Bra underneath with double-sided sticky tape. For the most part it kept everything covered- but definitely had to make a few readjustments and give a quick check every now and then.

Loved the dress! It was lower cut than I typically wear but I was still comfortable dancing, got a lot of compliments! The color is coral more than the picture which I liked better.

I wore this to an outdoor wedding in Nashville & it was such a hit! It was the right mix of dressy without being quite so formal. The sleeve adds a bit of flair and the coral color (although it appears more orange on the site- it's pinker/coral, I promise) was very flattering. Easy to move & dance in. The slit/wrap comes up pretty high but there's a skirt/slip underneath (beware of this riding up as you sit, though).

I rented this dress for a wedding. I got both the medium and the large and ended up wearing the large because of my bust. The color was perfect! I had to pin the middle just to make the cut in the bust a little more conservative. Other than that, no complaints. The dress was easy to dance in and wear all night! I would definitely recommend ironing or steaming after it is delivered.

I love love love this dress! I have been renting from RTR for about three years now.. and this by far has been my favorite yet! Wore it July 29 for a wedding.. this dress hid the unwanted tummy bulge.. one thing I noticed is the top, there's a keyhole that opens up depending what position I'm sitting/standing.. I did wear a strapless bra with it and I think if I didn't, that area wouldn't open up. But it didn't bother me at all. Loved the color of this dress as well! Necklace on this photo is also from RTR. It was a mystery bling they sent me. Shoes are mine !! I just loved this dress, definitely made me feel like Wonder Woman (that's what my husband said to me after i put this dress on!) :) I'm not very girly on a regular basis, but this day, I was definitely feeling like a woman! Lol
