Fit - perfect Size - I ordered xs and a small - I'm usually a 2/4 in dresses and the small was perfect.

I wore this for a black tie awards dinner and was very happy with my choice. The skirt is flowy and has a slight high-low that hit me right at the knee. The top was fitted but not too tight. I typically wear anything from a 6 to a 10 and the Medium was good. I could have worn the L too but was a little baggy up top since I am small chested. Would definitely rent again.

This was actually my backup dress incase i didnt like the dress I originally ordered and Im so thankful i had this as a backup. The original dress was gorgeous but just didnt fit me how I would of hoped. I wore this to jobs holiday party that had a rat pack theme and it was perfect. I was complimented all night. I would definitely recommened

I wore this to a Black History Month Gala and got tons of compliments both at the formal dinner and the after-party where I got to give the skirt a run for its money dancing. I paired it with red heels and red lipstick for some color and think it was the perfect accent. I have a small bust on a big ribcage/broad shoulders and big hips, so the skirt hid those pretty well but not perfectly and the straps accentuated my shoulders in a way I like. The pockets are too small to be actually helpful, but a noble effort. The different fabrics add some flair to the dress, particularly the skirt because it's not a common fabric for dresses, but I really liked it. My big problem with it was that the criss cross on one side of the bodice front wasn't staying connected, and it would peek and show a little bit of skin, nothing scandalous, but clearly not supposed to be happening. I'd think it was that I needed to size up, but it was only happening on one side. Thankfully my roommate had wardrobe tape to force the fabric to stay together and that fixed it beautifully.

Dress was great. Flowy on the bottom and fitted on top. Great for pear shape. I went with the medium because it was more comfortable around my waist

I'm only 5'1 127lbs I went with the size medium because it fit best. The details of the dress is mesh on the bottom and it had pockets. I wore this to a wedding and felt so comfortable in it.

This dress was classic, beautiful, and really fun to twirl in because it flares out. I really hated the exposed silver zipper though, because it made the dress seem cheaper or something. If it had a hidden zipper or a black zipper I would have worn it to the wedding. Went with a different option instead. Also, I'm 5'10", so I wish they had an extra length option, cos it was just a tad too short (showed my knees a bit.)

Fit me well - it does have a bubble type hem which I didn't expect! It has pockets which is always nice. And I did not have to wear a bra at all!! Ordered a M and S - wore the M (I am a 6 typically).

I really liked this dress at first! I love the sleeves. The full shirt is very nice, not too poofy and balanced with the tight top. The top has a bit of given to it. It is a thick dress. Just walking around the apartment and taking some photos I was sweating. I think the longer I wore it the more I disliked how it made my chest look. Maybe was over thinking it but ultimately pushed me to wear something else. I would be happy with it as a back up option!

This was my first-ever rental from Rent The Runway and it fit absolutely perfectly. The dress has pocket (always a plus) and is such a classic look. I got so many compliments and hope to rent it again in the future! Be careful to wear a nude bra or fashion tape to keep straps from showing. The dress is extremely flattering and hit me perfectly at the waist. I highly recommend!

Loved the dress! The material felt great and it was very comfortable. Perfect for a work gala. The top was stretchy and the skirt was a thicker/heavier material. I got a small and a medium - ended up wearing the medium. I'm 5'3, 150 pounds, and normally a 4/6 in dresses.

This dress was amazing! I can't believe I didn't snap a picture once we were out and fully ready! The dress was very comfortable and made of heavier fabric which was perfect because it was cold outside! All I needed was a shawl to stay warm. I got lots of compliments! Fits true to size. I loved this dress so much! I chose it for my work's holiday party. The fit was extremely comfortable because the top was thick and stretchy, and the bottom was fun and flattering. I was not expecting the bottom to have a net texture but it was a very flirty addition to show a tad more leg below the slip. This dress has deep, awesome pockets that held my phone and drink tickets all night.

I did not end up wearing this dress, as it was a little more dressy than needed- but I still loved it so much! It is super flattering and exactly like the picture. I am definitely keeping this in mind for future formal events!!

I loved wearing this dress for the evening wedding I attended. I received so many compliments and was able to accomplish the 'old Hollywood glam' look I was going for. An obvious highlight on the dress are the pockets and I love the texture of the skirt, as well. Great choice overall!!

This was my backup dress and I'm so thankful for it. Its got pockets and I was able to carry everything without needing a purse; the pockets didn't create any extra bulkiness either. The material is thick but sturdy so indoors and cooler weather is perfect; it might get a bit much in warmer climates. It's not a showstopper by any means but it's quality-made, comfortable, and has pockets!

Fit was perfect and the length was classy. The pockets are definitely a bonus of this dress.

The dress fit amazing, nice and fitted along the waist and a great length, even for my 5'2" self. I was attending a vintage themed charity event and the style of the dress worked perfectly for the theme while being slightly modern in the material. Best part POCKETS! A girl loves her some dress pockets.

It fit pretty well! Super snug but definitely comfortable! I would so rent again! I'm around 130 and the XS fit perfectly! the small did also but length wise the XS was best! I thought the dress was beautiful and so did most of my friends and strangers even commented! I wore this to a Gala and was around young to older adults and everyone loved it!

I received compliments on this dress all night. It was a nice thick material, was extremely flattering, and fit true to size. The pockets are great and this is something you can wear comfortably without worrying if your boobs or butt are about to fall out.

This was the perfect dress for our black tie holiday party! I am typically a size 4 so I went with a small and a medium. I ended up in the medium and could have used even more room in the rib cage area. It runs quite small but worked for the evening. I loved the two different textures. The top was stretchy and the bottom was heavy and full, it was perfect! Very classy and worth it! Consider sizing up!

When I first tried on the dress I actually didn't think it looked very good on me and wanted to try to send it back but decided to go ahead and wear it to a Christmas party. I'm so glad I did! It was so comfy, and fit great and pockets are always a plus! I got so many compliments and people telling me I need to buy it! It's a perfect staple black dress! I am small chested and always worry about the top gaping but this didn't at all, it was fitted at top but not super tight.

This was my free second dress for renting for the first time. Fit like a glove. Loved the dress but did not wear it because I loved my first dress better. Nothing wrong with it whatsoever. The skirt has a mesh fabric as well as pockets.

Wore to a black tie wedding. This fit was super flattering. I love the perfect, and classic A-line cut. It was super simple but beautiful, I got a lot of compliments and felt great. I wear a size 6-8 and the M fit well, which I was initially worried about. I also rented my earrings from RTR which were stunning .

Comfortable dress. The pockets were a perk and the length was perfect. It is a bit on the heavier side with three layers of skirt but it wasn’t awful and I wore it in a greenhouse! Drapes nicely and the shoulders add a bit of a unique twist to a black dress.

I found that the fit was true to size. I normally wear an 8 in dresses and it fit perfectly. Two added bonuses to this dress is that it has pockets, and the bodice section of the dress is stretchy, making it very comfortable and forgiving. I really don’t have any negatives to this dress. The zipper was a little difficult at the top, but not a deterrant. You may just need someone else to give it a tug for you.

So I was very excited about the idea of wearing a rented dress but was nervous as to what I'd get. I saw this one and felt it was classy and elegant for a formal wedding so I placed my order.
