Good black work dress with some minor flaws
The fabric and fit of this dress are nice. I wore it with a blazer to a client meeting and felt it was very professional. My one issue is that I feel like you need to wear a slip under it. I wore a bandeau so it wouldn't be so revealing in the chest, and I actually used a safety pin to keep the bottom part of the dress together. The buttons only go down to the very bottom of your torso and so if you caught a wind gust or sat down the wrong way, I was worried it would show everything!

Great piece - with some tweaks
I rented this for a daytime birthday party (and also got a second wear out of it) but wore it the only way I'd recommend - as a waistcoat. Seriously, don't try to wear it as a dress but rather as a layering piece. This would need at least two more buttons on the bottom to truly be considered a dress. I styled this with leather leggings and a thin, striped turtleneck for work. I planned to wear it with skinny jeans for the party but ended up having to throw turtleneck underneath again due to the frigid temps we're having in Chicago. So it was skinnys, a fitted black turtleneck and a gold collar necklace. I'm 5'4 and the vest came to just above my knees. Also, if you're going to wear this on its own (without a shirt), just have a bit of fashion tape on hold to hold the lapels in place.

Really loved this.
This vest/dress was so cute, flattering and comfortable. I wore a medium and it was roomy - but it's not supposed to be a tight fitting dress. Style it with a tight thin turtleneck underneath. Super cute.

cute look, tough to style
i still haven't figured out how to wear this b/c i don't feel comfortable wearing it w/out something underneath. however, the shape is very flattering. I will probably put a simple long-sleeve dress underneath to keep it decent.

Great dress, but the slit and the deep V did mean I had to wear a slip underneath
Would recommend but be sure you are ok with showing a lot of chest and thighs

Not for work
The slit in the front made this awkward for the business workplace.
