Stunning royal blue dress! Running true to size I would recommend going one size up for backup. With a 36d bust I still had some room in the chest area. This fabric stretchy and thick which is amazing for winter and fall season events. The fuller skirt allows comfortable room for full hips. You can wear a standard bra with this dress. This is great for any anyone with an apple, Hourglass, Athletic, Pear, Petite, Straight & Narrow, Full Bust body type. I would pair this with some gold earring and a nude pair of heels.

This dress fit perfectly! It was a great material and did not blow around in the wind at all (the wedding was on a boat). It was a beautiful color and the fabric was fantastic.

I usually wear a 12/14 in dresses and the 14 was too large on me- particularly in the top. Since it was the smallest size it came in, I wore it anyway. First off, the dress did not come with the gold neck piece as shown, which was disappointing. However, I got lots of compliments and it flowed nicely on the bottom half. It was incredibly comfortable! Because the top was a bit loose, you could see my bra in the arm holes. Also, the underside of the fabric is white so if the pleats don't sit just so, you can see the white. I definitely would have loved this dress more if the fit were better.

I rented this dress for a rehearsal dinner for a wedding I was in. It was a little loose where I would've liked it to be tighter, but it still was super flattering! I was concerned that the ruffles and big bottom part of this dress would make my hips look huge, but it actually camouflaged them!

Loved everything about this dress and would love to actually own it. I tried the 16W on in the store but wore the 18W for my birthday brunch to give me a little more room for all the delicious food we had LOL! I wish I had worn the 16W instead though because I think the more snug fit looked better overall. Anyhoo, I really felt beautiful in this dress and loved that it showed my legs (I'm told I have nice ones (wink) ) without being too short. I love the flounce style as well. Would definitely rent again. I paired with gold wedge heels and aquas/greens/gold jewelry and accessories.

I wore this to a Friday evening wedding in late October, paired with a shawl. I received so many compliments! The fabric is a bit heavy but it is a super comfortable dress! I probably could have sized down to a 12.

It was very heavy on the hanger but on it felt great. The material was soft and cozy for a October wedding in NC that was a little cool and sunny. I wasn't crazy about the gold piece at first but it was fine. Got lots of compliments and it felt flattering. It helped make my waist look tiny and wasn't short (something that happens a lot since I'm 6'). I would highly recommend it.

Perfect dress, excellent cobalt color and the (rose) gold piece on the top was perfect. Paired it with some rose gold studs earrings! I was thinking the material would be more stiff and it wasn't! And luckily I wasn't outside too long haha. The wedding was at a historic courthouse and this dress was great! Perfect amount of dressy, flattering but effortless! So many compliments, rent the runway for the win! Minus my hair going frizzy( thanks GA "fall" weather) , it was great!

Easy to use the RTR app and dresses delivered were on time. The dress was really beautiful and got many compliments on it as a unique and classy dress. Very heavy though! I even was able to pump and breastfeed in (although not easy).

Ok so this dress does run true to size but it is stretchy which I appreciated since I am a bigger busted woman. The cut and the length of the dress are extremely flattering and the dress material was heavy enough that it hides underwear and bra lines but isn't uncomfortable or hot to wear ( I wore this in May in 75+ weather)

This dress is super comfortable. It was modest enough for the school district award banquet without making me feel all covered up. This is my first RTR dress and it was so easy that I may never need to buy a another formal/semi-formal dress again.

The color is gorgeous and fit is so forgiving. I'm "thick" in the middle and I felt so confident. The material is thick and a bit heavy, however both events (Easter Sunday service and my Birthday Party in Vegas) were inside, so I didn't get too hot. You'll love this dress!

This was a back up dress that I got overnighted. It was beautiful for an ocean wedding and received lots of compliments! I had preferred another dress that was too small in the bust but Victoria in CS really helped and I will be back!! One thing is the dress didn't come with the silver necklace piece but I made do with my own jewelry Thank you RTW for your awesome CS!

Pros: Very flattering style, really accentuates the hourglass curves. Roomy, little bit of stretch. I'm normally a 14 (although sometimes a 16, sometimes a 12!), and this 14W fit well with a little room to spare. Can wear for a big night out and not be scared that eating dinner will end up cutting off your circulation. Color is gorgeous, and I loved the flippy skirt. I wore this for an "informal" night on a relatively formal cruise line, and felt very well dressed for the evening and venue. Cons: Material is heavy, so if it's going to be a hot night, you might get sweaty. And the built in necklace was a bit beat up.

Rented a 16 & an 18 but wore the 16. Fabric is a little heavy but also nice and structured. Overall, very flattering. Loved it!

This is my second time wearing this dress (wore it in black for a wedding in 2016). The blue (a true royal) was perfect for an afternoon outdoor wedding, and the heavy fabric was great for the chill in the Chicago air. I'm apple shaped so this dress really helps give the illusion of a waist. The heavy fabric and structured skirt are great for covering areas in not trying to put on display. And you can wear a real bra! It ran TTS on me. This dress is cute and fun and I'd wear it again in a heartbeat. The only thing missing from it is pockets.

Normally I wear between an 18 and 20 and I didn't notice a difference between the 2 sizes for this dress, so I wore the 18. I am glad I did since it did seem to stretch throughout the day. The material is a bit heavy which was perfect for my outdoor winter photos but probably wouldn't be the best for dancing all night at a wedding. The armpit holes to do cut in a little which can be a problem if you have a large chest like I do. My one con is that the underneath of the skirt is white which looks weird when the flaps come up in the wind.

Rented this dress to wear to my husband's company's Christmas dinner (the dress matched his company's colors). I am blessed with a small waist, huge hips, and a booty. The dress material, cut and color were so flattering. I was worried the layered bottom might not lay/look right, but it was perfect. The material is a little heavy, but it gives such a clean crisp look. It is almost scuba like material, and does not make noise. I have a short torso so most dresses I have to have top/straps/under arms taken in a little, and if I owned this dress I would have invested in that. It was not noticable, but I did switch to a strapless bra because it puckered a little under the arms, and you couldn't see my strapless bra as bad as my normal one (my torso was just a little shy of holding the dress up properly). I was bummed the size I wore arrived missing the jewelry piece around the neck hence why I added a necklace. The size 20 had it, but it was too big to wear... I think that extra accent makes the dress. Highly reconmend this dress!

My first RTR experience and it worked out great! Loved the fit of this dress, very flattering and the color was great! Fit seemed very true to size. Fabric was quite heavy but that didn't especially bother me.

This dress fit me like a GLOVE. I ordered the 14 & the 16, fearful that my chest would be a little too snug in the 14, but it was perfect. Not only did I get so many compliments on it, but I felt absolutely stunning - even when just trying it on the night before with no makeup, hair in a messy bun. My boyfriend (pictured here with me) was absolutely floored when he saw me in this dress. It was the first time in a long time where I feel like he was actually visibly overwhelmed at how great something looked on me. Here's to hoping he gets that same reaction when I'm walking down the aisle in a wedding dress in the future! ;) If you're considering this dress - get it. I promise you will not regret this rental. The only part that was sad about this dress was the fact that I had to return it. If RTR ever decides to part with it in one of their sales, I will be buying it. I guarantee it.

Love this dress! I thought that the rave reviews were too good to be true; I am 5'0" and wear a size 16 and I have a hard time finding dresses that fit me well. But this one really did fit like a glove. I wore the 14W. It looked great and the alternative hem on the skirt is super cute. I didn't need spanx but I did wear a bra. The fabric is heavier than average but I didn't find it stifling.

LOVED this dress! nothing but compliments all night! felt so sexy! worn for my brothers wedding. runs a little large. i wear 20 jeans but wore this in 18. very forgiving. heavy material is the only con for me. (since it was a 90 degree day) im 5' 6" 260lbs. This wasn't my orginal dress I ordered but my back up size wasn't available so I requested this one and I am so happy that RTR was easy to work with and had this shipped by the next morning. I like this dress better than my orginal choice too.

I'd give this dress more stars if I could! I actually ended up buying this dress from ELOQUII in black because I loved the blue one so much! I uploaded photos of both for comparison. The dress definitely runs at least a size larger than normal. The fabric is heavy and hides anything you want, while still flaunting your shape a bit. No SPANX necessary. It's pure magic. The layers of the dress make it fun, sassy, and great for dancing. There's a gold piece sewn into the neckline of the dress which eliminates the need for a necklace. ELOQUII sells a matching belt that looks super cute with the dress, which I highly recommend. It jazzes the dress up a bit.

This dress is pretty true to size, maybe a half size bigger. I had a backup size smaller but it was missing the silver neck accent. This dress fit nicely, with plenty room in the midsection. It hung beautifully. The material was thicker with some stretch which was nice for this December evening out. The blue is as nice as the photo. I paired the dress with metallic pumps, a black shawl, and funky clutch (not pictured). Overall, comfortable for a great night out to a fancy dinner and TSO show.

Wore this for my Roller Derby League's end of year banquet. So comfortable. The fabric is thick so it maintains a really flattering smooth shape. I have a LARGE bust (38H) and narrow hips so this shape really gave me more of an hourglass figure. I am so pleased with how this dress looked and the price was incredibly affordable.

The material is heavy (thank you to the other reviewers) and really does make you feel secure. I wore a full coverage underwear and really felt comfortable without spanx. I received tons of compliments and highly recommend this dress for cocktail attire.

I should've known to get a second smaller size as Eloquii tends to run big. The dress fit well but had some room in it so I felt the top part was a little loose and would've preferred it tighter however, overall I liked it. The color is a gorgeous bright royal blue and with the silver neck I didn't wear any additional necklace with it. I paired it with a great printed shoe which did get more compliments than the dress but still the color made me pop out against others. I like the cut of the dress which gave it great style. Like the other reviews though pictures are deceiving and the material is very heavy! (quilt like) It worked out well for a brisk October day so I wasn't sweating that much--beware of wearing this in hot summer weather-it will be too much! All in all I had fun in this dress and it covered all the bad areas and made me feel comfortable.

this dress was SO comfortable. i'm very short, so the long end of the asymmetrical hem hit at a little bit of a weird point for me, but i loved it nonetheless. the fabric is very thick, but it's soft. i loved the metallic detail at the top because it served as a necklace. everyone wanted to know where this dress came from!
