This was the perfect dress. The material is a ribbed cotton, so it will conform to your shape, but is still very comfortable and breathable. The fabric is soft and warm, great for a chilly NYC night in December but lightweight at the same time. I read coments about the fabric being too casual, but I think it's versatile enough to be dressed up or dressed down. I wore a body shaper boy short (Amazon) with a front zipper closure, and there were no visible lines. I'm 5'4 and wore 3 inch heels, the dress hit my mid-calf. The fold-over top is not crisp, so it doesnt lie flat on the back but it sits well on the front. I only had to adjust it once or twice, which took less than 5 seconds. Overall this is a classic and sophisticated dress for any age, I felt so beautiful and womanly in this dress, it was perfect.

This dress was a perfect fit for me! I wore this dress exactly 1 month after I had my son. The material reminded me of a sweater dress because it was very stretchy but wasn't hot at all. It's true to size but since it stretches you could go a size down (if you like right clothes...which I do so I should have gotten a 12 instead of 14 but wasn't sure because I was 1 month post). Overall, great fit and price for a great occasion.

Super stretchy little black dress! This runs true to size, we recommend sizing up for your backup. The fabric is extremely stretchy. Comfortable room throughout. This is great for any cup size. This should be worn with a strapless bra and spanx. This style was tea length on my 4'11 frame. This is perfect for date night, girls night out, or a cocktail event!

I wore this to both a bachelorette party and out on a date with my husband and got rave reviews for both. Granted, I wore it with my spanx because it's form fitting but it's not so tight that you feel uncomfortable. One minor thing, the top part is not sewn down and I needed help to roll it down but It did stay down and you could have worn it either way.

Dress is form fitting but not tight. Must wear with spanxs. Hid flaws and was comfortable. Fabric is stretchy so it worked with my baby bump. The neckline/shoulderline folds over which required a few adjustments during the night but not a major hassle. I was a bit unclear on the W in the 14W size. This dress fit like a regular 14 or slightly smaller - that is without being tight. I was disappointed in the fabric, as it was very casual, but the style of the dress allowed me to add some bling and wear to a gala. I ordered it as a back up and ended up wearing it and receiving several compliments.

The top did not stay down, I just pulled it down a little lower and let it dip in the front, which worked well. Personally, I think it needs to be listed under casual instead of cocktail because of the fabric. However, I would rent a dress again. It was true to size, which was wonderful for me! :)

I wanted to wear this dress but ran small for my hip width.

I ended up wearing this dress for two reasons: First the material was much thinner than I had expected. I would equate it to a heavy t-shirt, very light knit sweater. It was -21 windchill the night I was going to wear it and this wouldn't cut it. Secondly, I just had a baby 4 months prior and there was no amount of spanx in the world that would have made me feel confident- even with ordering a size up. Despite this, the length did hit appropriately as pictured.
