Fit was great. Comfortable and moved with me. Not constricting. It was a thick material so on a really hot or outdoor wedding it would have been too warm.

The dress was awesome. It was sent as an alternate to one I picked, so I didn't choose it, but whoever did knew what they were doing. It fit great, was flattering and I got a lot of compliments

Ordered this dress in the cobalt blue color 2 years ago for my birthday party so I was familiar with the fit. Love this dress! I wore the 18W and did the 20W as a backup size. Fits even better now that I'm down 20 lbs. Material is a good one; kind of heavy but it's not hot. Wedding was on August 25th in the evening and I was fine in the dress. I love that this dress is very flattering for an apple shape which is what I am. It camouflages well in the mid section. I like the length too and where it falls. My dress didn't have the gold detail at the neck area as advertised. Will definitely rent again if I don't just decide to buy it.

What a comfortable dress! This dress was so much fun to wear! Its an easy wear, super thick and sturdy fabric. The bottom is full and stands up on its own. You can wear any undergarment really. If your thinking about renting it, do it. Its such a fun dress!

I got this dress and it fit me at 5'7 and 275 pounds perfectly. It was a bit heavy but that made it lay nicely. I however, did not end up wearing it. Pictured is my sister who at 5'3" and ~250 pounds wore it and also loved it! The extra space allowed for her stomach without any pull and let it hit her right at the knee. She loved it and it looked amazing on us both. I will say the weight made it a little warm; if your event is outdoors in warm weather you might want to reconsider.

The dress fit well. The material is super thick but isn't hot. I am a hot natured person and was fine even in the 90+ degree weather.

I normally wear a size 18, but with a great shape wear I was able to fit into a size 16w in the dress. The material of the dress is quite heavy almost like a foam like feel on the inside. I have to say this dress runs very true to size! I absolutely love this dress and received lots of compliments all night from different guests.

Dress was beautiful and made of great material. It was heavier material but perfect since it was cold out. Probably too heavy for a July wedding though lol. The dress actually ran big which still is WAY better than running small and hell I took it as a confidence boost! I normally wear a 14 but could have easily worn a 12. And the best part..NO SPANX NEEDED. Highly recommend

The fabric is very thick which I think allows for the geometric shape. It hides any stomach issues very well and gives a slimming affect.

First, you should absolutely size down! I'm normally a 18/20 and wore a 16! Also, know the dress will likely arrive a little wrinkled (the material of the dress is the cause of this, not the package!) But I steamed it and the wrinkles came out very easily. I wore this to a fashion event and got a TON on compliments. I would highly recommend again!

The fit is perfect and true to size. I didn't need the second size I ordered. As said by others the material is heavy but don't let that stop you. The dress accents all shapes nicely as the material has a nice stretch. You can even go down a size as the dress has a nice firm hold so no need for shapeware ladies.

this was my first rtr! I wore this dress for a lbd bachelorette party. my pant size is 14, so I ordered the 14w and 16w(just to be safe). the 14 fit so perfectly! the chest fit perfect, not too tight, not too loose! the gold embellishment on the neckline was so cute, and I didn't have to try and pair jewelry with it! the dress flared slightly more than I thought it would, but it wasn't too much! very flattering for my body type. I'm only 5"4' so the length was slightly longer than I wanted, but not mind changing! loved this dress!

This dress does run a bit big. A size smaller would have been perfect but the smallest was 14. I ended up wearing a gold belt around the waist to bring it in more. The dress also has a bit of a heavy fabric so I don't recommend it for a summer or outdoor event. I wore it in March where the venue had AC and it was appropriate for that temperature. The fit is very flattering and the cut is gorgeous! I received a lot of compliments on the style. Unique and beautiful!

I rented this dress for an annual alumni event; the theme was "Under the Bigtop" so I wanted something fun. I was afraid that the dress would look like an actual tent but it was very cute. The material is a scuba type; I thought is was going to be a little more dressy. But I still liked it. Extremely comfortable as well! The only thing that was odd on the dress was the attached necklace. It was a little misshapen but it worked out. Overall pleased.

I ended up wearing the smaller of the two sizes I got. I could almost go a little smaller too. The fabric was thick and structured which was great for hiding any insecurities (no spanks!). I was pretty toasty in it though (despite it being sleeveless). We were outside and I had to avoid standing by the heat lamps for fear I would melt. I loved the way the dress moved when I walked and ruffled out when I stood still. The attached gold necklace was perfect so I didn't have to search for anything. You could easily hide it with a chunky fashion necklace though. I was really pleased with the dress. It was fun and flirty. Perfect for a holiday party on downtown rooftop.

This was a SUPER fun dress to wear and the cut was really flattering. I got the dress in my regular size (18W) but opted to go up a size for a little bit of extra room in the middle. The cut is a bit high waisted and I thought it hung better in the larger size. The length was really great, and the asymmetrical hem added a fun twist! As other reviewers have said, it's made of really heavy material, almost a neoprene. I would NOT recommend this dress for a summer event, or any event where you're worried about being hot. It was perfect for my indoor, mid-October, fall in New York, event. Lastly, know that the metallic detail at the collar is gold. Some photos make it look silver. I chose to accessorize with gold earrings and a bracelet, and left the neckline, and accent stand on its own.

My dress came without the gold plate type accent on the collar however, I almost liked it better that way because I could wear a necklace with it. The dress was flattering and I got a couple of compliments too! I clicked that the dress ran true to size, but I'd say maybe it runs a tad bit small. I usually wear a size 18/20 jeans and shirts but I'm an apple shape. Most of my weight is in my midsection. If you're built differently, you might be able to go with a smaller size. As others have said, the material is really thick, but I didn't mind because it was flattering.

The dress is extremely heavy - it feels like you're wearing a blanket. When it first arrived I was very worried that it wouldn't sit well and would look weird. However, it ended up being a nice dress. I didn't love it - I wouldn't rent it again. It was just a little too poofy for me being a bigger girl to begin with. Overall, great first RTR experience and I already have two more orders out. This dress would work for a colder event as again, the material is like a thick blanket.

The fit of the dress was great, just an itty bitty large in the waist area but it looked great. A bit puffy for my usual taste but it worked out well. The pros would be the color is awesome and the material is nice and heavy, kept me warm. The cons are the little silver piece kept flipping up and the layers on the dress popped up too. Other than that, its an awesome outfit for a great occasion.

This dress was well cut and beautiful looking. But unfortunately it was a little too large on me - not just in size but the overall volume of the dress was too much for a shorter frame. I was hoping the flare would give me a slimmer look to my waist but it just made me look big. The fabric is pretty heavy, which is nice for holding its shape but just be aware.

This dress was so comfortable and flattering. I loved that I didn't have to wear Spanx and that I got to wear my regular bra! The only fit issue, which was very minor, was slight puckering just above the bust line. The material held its shape very well. It was 75 degrees and sunny for an outdoor wedding. I was a little warm, but not bad at all. I think I would have been hot in any dress (I'm from WI, 75 can be warm!) I would definitely order this dress again, I may even have to buy it!

Fabric was weird, but it fit fine. Went with my first choice.
