Not too shiny, not too matte -- the glow factor for these is somewhere in the middle. Much lighter than I had thought they would be, these are all day earrings, wahoo! Much more comfortable than they look. They are NOT formal however, keep looking if you have a very upscale party or wedding. They may look too cheap or funky with a formal event look.
