The bag had very soft leather. I tend to wear satchel or messenger bags, so this bag was very different since it doesn't have that same structure support. I thought I wouldn't like it, but everything stayed inside and my small items were still relatively easy to find. It was larger than I expected. It can hold a standard folder if you wish to, but will bend a little. The strap is non-adjustable, so if you prefer longer straps like me, it may not be the best bag for you. I did like the simple strap ring detail a lot.

While the leather and stitching are very high quality, i did not enjoy this bag. It is soft and supple, but that is actually a detriment. It gapes open around the magnet closure. I had several items fall out, once even losing my keys.
