The fit is snug! It was not an uncomfortable snug. A 10 my have been less snug, but I think the cutouts would have been loose with a 10. The cutouts are tastefully sexy! The slit in the back is a nice addition. Warm enough to wear without a jacket (except the cutout area may get a little wind). Love love love this dress!

I'm usually a 2-4 on top and a 4-6 on bottom. I was lucky that the 4 fit perfectly- plenty of stretch if you need it. I felt the cutouts were a fun way to keep it classy yet exciting. I realize that I did have to keep pulling the dress down as I walked, and you can't take big steps in the sheath. Overall, I really enjoyed wearing this!

This dress fit like a glove and was comfortable. I could even wear a strapless bra with it. The texture of the fabric (it's subtle raised dots/dimples) paired with the slits make it very unique. Good to show off your curves. The fabric is thick so it's better for cooler weather.

So flattering, hugs in all the right places, and is appropriate / demure with a little rawr with the cut outs. Material is heavier/warmer so I was glad I wore this in January (to a Hall of Fame banquet). I would totally rent this again.

Fits true-to-size, possibly a little snug. Length is perfect for tall girls. I am 5'9". I was able to wear a bra and Spanx, but wouldn't have needed to; material is thick and flattering. Perfect for an outdoor Fall wedding. Color is deep navy blue, it's beautiful.

I rented this dress for a summer vineyard wedding, loved this dress it was so famine and pretty. Just be sure to wear in a cool environment.

Beautiful textured navy dress. Strapless bra. This dress shows everything so be prepared for that. It may be too long for shorter ladies. I'm 5'9" and it was the perfect length. Many compliments. This brand runs small so size up at least 1 size!

This dress fit great. My friends loved it so much that they recommended I buy it. I usually wear a size 6 and the 6 fit perfectly. If you are between sizes I recommend sizing up. The length of this dress made it classy while the snug fit that shows every curve and the cut outs made it sexy. I definitely recommend this dress. It was great for a night out with friends for a nice dinner and a show on a cold night.

Another dress that did not dissapoint! I loved the way this hugged what little curves I have and the length was so classy. It does have a bit of stretch to it which made it so comfortable and the fabric is thick enough so i didnt have to wear a bra. I was also much smaller in the bust when I wore it. I wore a 0, Im 5'6" and 120 lbs.

Got size larger per other reviews. Ended up fitting like a glove. Nice thick fabric that hides any imperfections and love the slits in the right places! It hugs the curves well. Great dress for colder weather. Would rent again!

This dress was fantastic. It is a very sexy dress for something with so much fabric (long sleeves and below the knee). It is form fitting but because of the heavy and textured fabric, I felt great even on a not so perfect body day. It is a perfect blend of sexy and classy. So much so that both my fiancé's grandmother said it was a stunning dress and my fiancé was stunned. I will definitely rent this dress again.

This dress was so amazing, I instantly went online to try and buy it. Sold out everywhere, AND FOR GOOD REASON! It is one of my most favorite dresses rented to date. Fit and stretch made it so comfortable and the cut outs make it sexy while staying work appropriate.

Snug but flattering. I am normally a size 4 but just had a baby 8 weeks ago and glad I upsized significantly. All the reviews are accurate that this dress runs extremely small. I wore an 8 to be comfortable since I'm a nursing mom. It fit everywhere but will say it's snug in the hip area. Beautiful color. Please note the material is on the thicker side and glad the wedding was indoors or I would have melted away!

I have rented several E&J dresses before, and I have sized up 2 sizes. This dress has more stretch and I only needed to size up 1 (normal size is 4, I wore a 6). I LOVED this dress. It was a perfect mix of trendy/elegant/sexy. The picture is a close up of the fabric, which I think is the most underrated part of the dress. It is thicker, so I wouldn't recommend this dress for warmer months.

I love this dress. The fabric was thick so no bra needed. Fancy enough for a black tie. But, this dress runs SMALL. normally I'm a 0 or 2. I wore the 2 but I wish I had the size 4. I would have been more comfortable. Also the cut out on the ribs is a bit tight. I was a little bit conscious of any possible bulging throughout the night. Perhaps if I had the 4 this wouldn't have been an issue.

Elizabeth & James is my new favorite! Their dresses fit perfectly! They are snug and run small but the fabric is thick and hides flaws! This was a gorgeous blue and the cutouts were perfectly places on my frame. I definitely could see this a permanent item in my closet!

Wore this dress to a formal wedding. I usually wear sizes 0 or 2, however could have even fit into the 4 for this dress. My chest is smaller than most, so I chose the size 2 so it wouldn't look baggy up top. Would not recommend wearing a bra with straps, as the straps will definitely show. My original size 2 have several holes in the side, so I would recommend double checking (esp because the dress is tight and may have been stretched out from repeated rentals. Loved the cutouts...made the dress look edgy and flattering in areas that aren't too revealing. Fabric felt very luxurious and was able to hold everything in. Would definitely rent another Elizabeth and James dress from RTR!

Sexy fun dress! So many compliments!! Dress had a small hole where the zipper connected to the dress but a local seamstress fixed it quickly.

This dress was beautiful and super flattering. I received so many compliments all night. It was comfortable, but a nice, thicker fabric to keep everything in place. I rented the 6,8 and both would have worked, but I was slightly more comfortable in the 8. Other reviews were correct that the dress has some give, except for the waist. Overall, love and would rent again!

I wore this to a nice dinner with my husband. I got several compliments on it from people at the restaurant. It's an unusual cut with the "windows". I was a little afraid the lower cut out would show something akin to a waist skin/fat fold but it didn't. Fits true to size. It's longer than I realized but it ended up ok with heels. I was able to wear my strapless bra ok, but it did make my chest look huge in the upper cutout by doing so. Oh well!

I loved this dress! Unfortunately, it had a stain that I didn't notice until after I took it off and noticed that my bra was discolored with a oil type liquid that did not wash off. You couldn't see it with the naked eye, but my bra is ruined :( If you're in between sizes (like me), order your size up. I'm usually a 4, but I wore the 6 ant it was snug! I'm 5'7, 125 lbs, small chested, straight/narrow figure.

You have to get the fit right for this dress and I recommend using fashion tape. I normally wear a 6 but ordered an 8 and 10 due to other reviews saying it runs small. The 10 was huge in the top which made the cutouts gape. The 8 was snug but perfect. The dress is fairly stretchy except in the waist which is unforgiving. I wore a strapless bra and used a lot of fashion tape to keep it from showing and to keep the cutouts from being too large. I do not see a way to wear spanx wth this due to cutout at waist. The fabric is thick and warm. The color is a muted navy very true to the picture and the texture adds interest. I wish more dresses were available in this length I loved that is fell below the knee. I felt fabulous wearing it and got tons of compliments. I would rent this again if I had another appropriate venue for it.

It was snug, but I loved the fit. I could not wear a bra with the dress because I am a 34DD. It does rise so I had to me mindful of pulling and adjusting so that I could continue to look amazing.

Wore with moderate heels which worked for a tall girl, with this hemline I would suggest 3" or high heels for someone a bit shorter.
