Perfect for a summer formal

Loved the color and back detail. Good quality and travels well. This brand runs super small, size up!

I am 5'6'' and ~130lbs with shorter legs and the 6R fit well.

I didn't end up wearing this but the color and fit was amazing. I let another fellow wedding guest wear this and they loved it! I only wish I had two events to go to as I fell in love with both options I rented! Definitely go with the long of you are taller then 5'5 and like tall heels.

This dress runs small, but also short. I consider myself an averaged height person and would normally never get a “Long” dress, but I wish I had for this dress. I had to go buy shorter heels and wished I could have worn flats (but it was black tie). The color is more red than coral, but I still really loved it. The only other con I had to it was you cant wear spanx because of the open back and I wish I had thought of that before. Overall, I would rent again and I wish I could keep it. It really was comfortable and perfect for dancing, eating, drinking, etc.!

The fit was perfect for me. The length was a little short but I didn't mind as I was going to be in shorter heels with it.

I am normally a size 6 and this dress was true to size. A touch tight in the bust, but overall still very flattering. I wore ~3in heels and the 6L was perfect with them. The color was great and the dress was very beautiful and comfortable. Received many compliments all night long!

The dress fit me perfectly everywhere. I felt amazing! It was a tad long even with 3.5-4in heels. I'm 5'3. Overall the dress was fun and sexy!

I am normally a size O. However I own other (shorter) Elizabeth & James dresses in Size 2. I still decided to wear the 0R in this style because (1) the top of the 2R was slightly loose overall with my small bust (A), and (2) the 2R was also a little long. I am 5' 5" and the Size 0R was the perfect length with 4.5 inch wedges. The midsection was tight but the material was a little thicker than I expected which helped to smooth over my stomach area. The back of this dress is awesome - I got so many compliments on it. It is the perfect amount of skin (especially considering the full coverage in the front and length) so was still very appropriate for a black-tie wedding that my boyfriends parents were also at. The only (small) con was there was no slit in the dress - the dress flares out somewhat at the bottom so was still able to dance easily but when trying to walk quickly / up stairs / etc. I had to lift up the bottom of the dress. One other note: The color was more pink than it looked in websites photo. Overall I definitely recommend this rental!!

I wore this dress for a wedding that was not black tie, yet still semi-formal, and it was a major hit! The athletic fit makes it less formal than a traditional floor length dress and the color is amazing. More of a coral than a pink. I ordered it in the 4R and 6R (elizabeth and james generally runs small) and they basically fit the exact same, except the 6R left a little more room for dancing so I went with that size. Highly recommend!

The dress runs small. Very understated but, elegant. I went a size up because it was a bit snug. Hard dress to wear a bra underneath. I have large bust and went bra-less. There was enough support that it didn't look saggy!

First time using RTR and I absolutely loved it! I was nervous when they contacted me 48 hours before my event and let me know that my original size (4L) would not be delivered, but because the previous reviews noted this dress "ran small" I hoped the 6L would fit - and it did! The RTR staff was very accommodating and helpful! Pros: This dress is perfect for an outdoor event (I wore it to a gala held at a winery) and it can easily be be dressed up or down. The color was more pink than I was expecting, but perfect for spring or summer. I loved the more athletic look and feel the dress had and I received a ton of compliments! I wore 3" wedges and the length was perfect, resting right above ground. Con: Like the other reviews noted, the dress does not have a slit at the bottom so it is somewhat constricting. I had to take shorter than usual steps when walking. Luckily, this event didn't call for much dancing so it was still perfect!

This dress is so much prettier than I'd hoped. It's a beautiful fabric with a bit of stretch, perfect for a wedding night when you know you are going to be dancing and moving around a lot. Received a TON of compliments. Definitely has an understated elegance to it. Would absolutely recommend!

I usually wear a size 4 and this fit like a 4. I'm 120, 5'5 and small chested. It was very flattering and the back made it look interesting as the front is pretty plane. I wore it to a work event and it felt appropriate. Got complements on it but not as much as last dresses. It was pretty, did the job, and worked well, but it wasn't a knock out dress or showstopper

This dress fit me like a glove--the only thing wrong was one of the back zippers kept unzipping by a couple of inches--very distracting, though I'd guess it was a fluke. Overall, comfy and an eye-catching color!

I wore this to a black tie gala. I wanted something simple but fun and this fit the bill! As other reviews stated, this does run a little short. If you're 5'6" and above I'd recommend getting the long. I didn't heed the reviews and ordered a regular and had to get different shoes with a shorter heel. Overall, it fit well and was perfect for the event!

The dress definitely runs a bit small. Typically I wear a 4 in RTR dresses, but needed to go with the 6. The dress was JUST long enough and I am 5'10. I love the material and color of the dress, it was very flattering. You can't really wear a bra with the dress, I wish it had more support in the front for this reason but it turned out okay. I absolutely loved the back and received a ton of compliments!

The 2 and the 4 both fit - but I felt a little more comfortable in the 4 so that is what I wore. Could have gone either way though but it was great to have both options! I ordered a L as I am 5.6 - but it was way too long! I think only if you are above 5.8 would you need the L.

Liked the dress, but very hard to walk/dance in. Doesn't have a slit in the front or back which made it more tricky. Loved the color and athletic look the dress had though.

This was an emergency backup dress I received since my original dress was not available. I was originally so bummed to receive this dress. But, it ended up fitting me perfectly, the color was amazing, and I received so many compliments on it! I'd definitely order it again.

Rented this dress for an outdoor wedding and it was perfect! The material and fit was high quality and draped really well. Read through some of the other reviews, and I luckily didn't have any issues with the bottom of the dress being too narrow to walk. Wore it with 2.5 inch wedges and it worked out great. Would definitely rent again for an outdoor wedding!

This was a backup dress that RTR sent when my original backup size wasn't coming. Ordered it in long based on other reviews, and it was the perfect length with 3 inch heels. It is form fitting, so I did not wear a bra or panties because you would definitely be able to see the lines. The only con - it wasn't forgiving at the bottom, so I felt a bit constricted sometimes when I was walking because I have a long stride. Overall, loved it and got SO many complements.

It runs a little short. I wore the 2L with 3 inch heels and it did not hit the floor.

This runs snug, I'm a 36C and needed to size up. I read the reviews which came in handy. I also ordered long because of the reviews (I wore high heels) but I could have gotten away with R.

I will advise you to size up when ordering this one. I typically wear a size 2R, however the moment I tried on the size 2R, I knew I had to immediately return for a size bigger. I contacted RTR customer service, and was happy when the agent indicated she had a size 4R she would ship to deliver a day before the event. Do yourself a favor, order this dress for your next event. The color is stunning and the back cut-outs will leave you feeling sexy.

Great cut and quality was awesome. Worn without bra and material was thick and showed no bumps or lumps!

Didn't wear this dress that I'd rented as a backup. Was a great fit with medium thick stretch fabric. I found it to be super flattering and would definitely rent it in the future!

This dress fit so well and was comfortable throughout the night. No adjusting needed! I normally don't wear such bright pinks but it was a good vibrant color for a midsummer wedding.

Rent this dress! I wanted to keep it forever. A perfect fit and hugged in all of the right places. Super classy and chic, yet sexy! Tons of compliments. I am small chested after my kids, a 34 b. I didn't need a bra, only needed the stickers. Dress is true to size. I wear a 27/28 jean, and small top. My dress size is usually a 4. If you are bigger in the hip area, you may want to size up.

I'd 100% rent this dress again and would highly recommend for a late spring or summer wedding. The color was bright, but not overwhelming, the back was fun but not too revealing, it hugged all the right areas, which made it very flattering, and the length was perfect for a formal wedding. Although there was no slit, the dress does fan out a little at the bottom, so dancing was still comfortable. Over all 5-stars for this gorgeous dress!

Perfect dress for a wedding in LA. The back is super sexy, but with the high nick and simple front it is also very classy. I was able to wear a strapless bra with it with no problems. Paired it with a chunky necklace which worked great. I felt that the dress was true to size, I wore a 4R which is my usual size. I am 5'6"and it was the perfect height with short heels, but for anyone who's 5'6"and planning to wear 3 inches or higher you should probably get the long length if you want it to hit the ground. It does not really cinch in your waist, so beware if you are self-conscious about belly bulge!

I absolutely loved this dress! Kept getting compliments all night! Amazing color (deep coral), thick forgiving fabric, great cut and drape. I have an average/athletic build with a small chest and large butt/hips. The size 4 fit but pulled a bit too much in the rib cage area--the 6 fit great and was just slightly bigger than the 4 (I'd say only a half size bigger than the 4) which was perfect! The open back added just enough style/interest and was amazing because I was able to wear my daily racerback bra. I'm 5'5" and wore a 4" heel and it fell just to the ground. I'd rent this one again in a second!

The fit is a little snug but very flattering. I'm tall and the long length just hit the floor. This dress is classy yet comfortable so I was able to dance all night.

The fabric was the right amount of stretch and structure, perfect length, color that popped. Fit like a glove. Perfect for a wedding, can be styled up or down.

The fabric is nice & kinda thick so not too showy of "imperfections" I am 5'9" and wore a 4L with 3" heals and it was barely long enough so tall girls beware

I've rented Elizabeth and James MANY times and love it, love it. My upper body (arms) is the area I choose to "feature" when making a decision on a dress and the cut of this dress didn't disappoint. The fabric is thick, so you do have a bit of forgiveness of any unwanted curves you want to conceal, but not a TON - it definitely hugged my body through the waist. I'm short (5'3" on a good day) and I wore 4 inch heels and the length was okay; I had to lift it a bit when walking up/down stairs, but I'm used to having to do that, so wasn't a big deal.

Fits true to size. Slimming and form fitting. Definitely a standout with the color and simple design.

I wore this dress to my husbands work gala in Vegas. I loved it because it was such a bright pop of color when most women were wearing dark colors. I got so many compliments on it. Perfect length with a small 1 inch heel. (I'm 5'7). Would definitely rent again
