This two piece was a home run. I am always a 2 and wore a size 2 skirt and a size small top. The top has a weird space in the sides where it didn't lay flat against my boobs so from a certain angle you could sort of see my bra but it wasn't a big deal. You have to have very toned upper abs because of the skin reveal between the top and bottom. I got so many compliments in it. The look is very modern and I felt very young and modern in it! Also navy is a nice change from black !

This was my first purchase from RTR and I was so impressed, so simple and absolutely loved the material and fit of the skirt and the top that matches. Would definitely recommend.

I think it fit like a glove. I ordered the top in medium because I have a bigger bust and couldn't have been happier with the fit! I paired it with nude strappy heels and a military style jacket to make it more edgy. Loved it!

I loved this crop top and skirt combo. I have large hips/butt and this skirt was the perfect fit for my body. It highlighted my waist and was right around my hips, but not too tight because of the high slit. The 4 honestly fit a little better in my hips, but the 2 fit my waist better. I received lots of compliments! I felt sexy showing a little bit of stomach, but still classy and appropriate.

I loved everything about this outfit. I wore it to the Groom's Dinner for my daughter's wedding. It was SO comfortable and I definitely did not feel like the mother of the bride in this....which is what I was going for ;) It was the perfect length with 4 inch heels. Color is beautiful too. Could totally pass as black. I wore a size Small in the top and size 0 for the skirt and it fit perfectly. I wore a strapless bra . I would most definitely rent this again!

It could have been a little smaller at the waist. I had to wear it lower than what the model did in the picture itself; I had more of my stomach showing than expected, but it wasn't a big deal. This is my favorite RTR outfit so far!

They did not have the petite available, so I wore the regular size and it was fine even though I am 5'3. Goes great with the top (that runs a little small). I got so many compliments for my night out and with heels it was a perfect length.

I always size up in this brand. I did the small top and the 6 in the skirt because I wanted it both long and not cutting into my sides. You can also pull it up as high or low as you want so you don't feel self conscious. Would definitely rent again

I got the skirt in a 10R and the matching crop top in size medium. I have larger hips but a smaller waist, so this outfit was flattering because you can mix and match the top/bottom. Both have zip closures in the back. The material is awesome- it's not jersey, more like the material of a business suit. It's great because the structure and zip closing keep everything together and you don't feel exposed. I'm 5'7 and the skirt fell perfectly with some 3" heels. I felt great in this- definitely recommend this outfit!

I rented the top and bottom for a friends November wedding. This was my first rental from RTR and I was not disappointed. I felt so beautiful, and received complements throughout the night. I should have ordered a size 2 in the skirt instead of a 4- but since you can only get one free size (and these are two separate pieces) I had an extra size in the top. I made it work despite it being a bit loose. Would defiantly recommend you try this dress if you want to feel beautiful and tastefully sexy. The fabric is slightly stretchy, so if you do opt to get a second size- go for one a size down.

I ordered both the 0r and the 2r. There wasn't much difference in the fit except for the length. The 0 was way too short with heels. Unfortunately, I didn't wear this but if I had I would've had to wear the 2r. So cute and would definitely recommend!!

I wore this for a charity gala and loved it! Stood out from the crown and very flattering.

The skirt just fell naturally at my waist a little bit lower than I had originally hoped it would but it still worked perfectly. This dress (or technically skirt and top) were amazing. I felt so sexy yet classy, and I received a ton of complements. My waist is much smaller than my hips, so while a size 4 would have fit best at the waist, I definitely needed the size 6 for my hips. I am also very tall, so I was a bit worried about the length. However, it ended up being really nice. It definitely was a bit shorter on me than I think it is meant to be worn, but it still worked really well. Overall, I loved this dress and would totally wear it again.

The top ran a little small and I found that the skirt was a perfect fit and true to size. It was a beautiful navy and made of a sturdy fabric that kept me warm in January. I received countless compliments. I wish I could wear this everyday!!

I typically wear a 4 but I got the 6 bc there's nothing worse than a crop top outfit with your belly being squeezed at the top. That said, I think I could have worn the 4 but I didn't order an extra size. The skirt fit great though. It was ; I am 5'5" and it was the perfect length with 4 inch heels. Wouldn't have been able to wear flats with it though. Would definitely rent again!

I wore this with the matching top. I was worried about the length of it but I wore 4 inch heals with it and it was the perfect length, just long when I took them off! It was so comfortable to dance in and I didn't want to take it off! Also the material is think enough to wear anything underneath. Totally recommend for anyone who wants a more edgy, unique look for a formal event.

I ordered a 2 and a 0. The 0 actually fit a bit better around my waist (I have a very small waist), but was significantly shorter that the 2 so that it was too short when I wore it with heals. The 2 still fit fine, just not as snug, but was very comfortable to wear for a while and sit in.

Fabric was amazing! Little heavier so perfect for December in Chicago. Wore it for my birthday and never felt so sexy! Very true to size. Would have worn the 0 but the one I received was a little ragged. 2 still fit perfectly.

The top stayed in place, never felt like it was hiking up. The skirt slit is a bit high-just be careful dancing but it was never a problem.

I wore this set to my senior homecoming dance. The fit couldn't have been more perfect! And what's better than not having to wear a bra!? I ordered a 4R and M top also, but went with the 2 and S. The 4R skirt was sewn weird so it looked kinda funny and the M top was too big for my waist. I got so many compliments!

I pretty much created an event to which I could wear this once I saw it on RTR. I wore it to a black tie wine tasting/dinner and I could not have been happier with this dress. I am definitely pear shaped -- my thighs are totally out of proportion with the rest of my body -- so I was a bit worried about how the skirt would look. It was definitely tightest right at the saddle bags, but the slit hit right about the same area so the 6 still worked. The only thing that baffles me is the length. All the previous reviewers (even girls around my height) said they had to wear like 5 inch heels with it in order to get it off the ground, so all I had with me when getting ready were 4 inch wedges. Turns out it barely grazed the ground when I was barefoot. Whoops. I think it may have been because my natural waist sits quite high? Wore the wedges and rocked it anyway. Paired it with the matching top (size small), Kendra Scott abalone earrings, French Connection bag, and aforementioned target wedges.

This was actually my second choice, the original dress I wanted wasn't available for the date I needed it, but now I'm 3 weeks out from the event and still hearing about it. Whoever rented the original dress did me a favor. This dress is a perfect combination of class and elegance combined with a little bit of sex appeal without being offensive. YOU WILL LOVE THIS DRESS!!! It fits perfectly and hugs the right places. The material is thicker, stretchy, and comfortable for a long night. I have another formal event coming up, and I'm seriously considering renting it again.

Really beautiful set! I was a little nervous wearing a 2 piece set to a wedding but it was very classy. They didn't have my size (2) but I was able to pull off the 4 even though it was a little too big.

I was a little unsure about wearing this two-piece outfit to a wedding because of the mid section showing a bit, but I ended up loving it. The high neckline balances it out and looks elegant. The fit it true to size and the material is a great quality, so it is very flattering and does not hug the wrong places. The navy color is really pretty as well. I am about 5'3-- so the skirt was a little long on me, but I wore a 4 inch nude heel with it and it was fine. I would definitely recommend!

It was a little long. Although I am only 5'1 and I wore 4 1/2 inch heels but it did drag a bit. But it was beyond comfortable. Its navy blue but in certain light most people thought it looked black. All in all I would rent this outfit again. RTR has the BEST customer service as well.

I ordered the 4R and the 6R as backup, but the 4R ended up fitting me perfectly. I felt comfortable and elegant for the whole night, and ended up not even wanting to take it off. Definitely the right choice for me!
