Love this dress! As always I love the Elizabeth and James dresses! You can't go wrong with them especially for a short girl. Just make sure to size up for your backup. Perfect length for me, I'm 4'10". I also love the high neck. It looks great for girls with a large bust, I am a 32G. You can wear a normal bra with it. I really loved how the tank top came a little bit wider in the strap so that my bra strap never peeked out. I also loved the little bit of skin shown in the belt. Very classy, but a little bit edgy. Really was a perfect dress for a date night for our anniversary at the casino. I would also say it's appropriate for a wedding. You can dress it down or up. LOVE this dress!!!

It fit and felt amazing!

I wore this dress around Seattle for the day and it was the perfect fit. Very comfortable and adorable. I got lots of compliments on it! It's a bit shorter than I expected. I'm 5'3 so I would say if someone taller wore it or you chose to wear heels with it, definitely think about wearing spanks or something under it. Other than that, it was all I hoped it would be and more. My boyfriend absolutely loved it. Would highly recommend for a night out!!

We had a fairy godmother-like experience at RTR Las Vegas trying on dresses and accessorizing. We had a great time at Surrender at Encore and looked fabulous. This dress is a just a little bit edgy with the metal pins and showing a peek of mid-drift.

The dress was a lot of fun! Like the other reviews, the middle of the dress is snug and there is no stretch to it. My waist is high and narrow right where it hit and it was noticeable but not uncomfortable to me. Also, the front of my deltoids was noticeable but not uncomfortable. My only real complaint was the zipper sliding down 1-2 inches. I had to find a safety pin at the event to get it to stay up.

Sexy, edgy, comfortable and sooo much fun. A tad on the short side but not terribly. I didn't even try on the 8 because the 6 fit great. Regular bra. Very flattering waist/cut. Adore this dress. Will rent again. Would buy if I could!

Loved this dress! It is simple and 100% appropriate for a wedding. I was able to wear a normal bra with it without any straps showing and it fit perfect, not too short and not too long. I would totally rent it again, I only wish that there were more color options!

I don't normally go for this shape of dress as it's usually a little too cutesy, but the cut and metal details make it sexier. My friends and i joked that this was my Ariana Grande dress all night! I loved it so much and it's flattering for small on top, curvy on bottom ladies.

I. Loved. This. Dress!!! I was so sad to have to send it back. So many people complimented me in it, I felt amazing all day! The fabric is much thicker than it appears and is super comfortable. The little peek-a-boo at the waist isn't inappropriate by any means. The hook and eye closures give it an edgy feel but the full skirt softens the look nicely. It fit me a little snug around the rib cage (especially after lunch) but I loved it so much I didn't even care! The length was ok on my 4'11 frame but it was still on the short side - if you're taller you should keep that in mind.

I originally had the 4 through unlimited but swapped for the size 6 as the 4 was tight to zip up in the waist and back region. Really comfy and cute!

I rented this for a NYE party in an apartment in NYC, it was perfect for the occasion. The dress is cute, flirty and sexy since you see a tiny bit of skin due to the clasps on the dress. I rented a 4 and it was a tiny. It loose but I couldn't go smaller due to the length of the dress... if you have a bigger bum size up :) overall it's a perfect LBD !

Understated but with a cool midline. Length was OK - mid-thigh on my 5'3" frame. Super comfortable. Would definitely rent again.

this was my backup dress. i ended up going with this dress because the dress i rented ended up being too long. this dress was great. the only problem i really had with it was that the clasps in the middle kept coming undone but that wasn't a huge problem. overall it was great!

REMEMBER the length of the dress does not go down to the knees - I actually found it to be the perfect length or should I say as a mother... not tooooo short. :)

This dress was perfect for my friends bachelorette party! It's the perfect amount of skin for a girls night out. I have been renting 10s for the past 6 months and there is no way a 10 would have fit me in the waist. The 12 was a great fit, perfect in the waist and hips and just a tiny bit loose in the chest. This dress is a tiny bit short, I am only 5'5" on a good day and this dress was very short on me- it did not cover my butt at all when I sat down. Super forgiving in the hips and you don't need any special undergarments. The hook and eye was such a fun touch! Would totally recommend this but be sure to size up.

I let my 13 year old rent this one for a party and she didn't want to take it off. It was tight around her tummy where the hooks go around but she got it on fine. Length was cute for her age but if she was any taller could have been problematic. She wore a padded bra to try and fill up the top section a bit as it was loose with her regular bra. Overall she loved it and felt grown up renting a dress

Probably my favorite RTR dress out of 6-8 rented over the past year. Wore it to a work party/event that was music-related so the edge factor made sense. Wouldn't normally wear for something work-related, but it was perfect for this. Material isn't SUPER dressy — good to keep in mind for more formal events, but wasn't cheap-looking either. The little hooks came undone once in a while but not a big problem. If you don't like short, this might not be the dress for you. :) (At 5'8" and with heels, the 2 was hitting mid-thigh.) Loved it!

Perfect date night

I absolutely LOVE this dress - I liked it a lot more than I honestly thought I would. It's very unique - it fit great - we went out for a birthday dinner and then dancing - I was comfortable in the dress standing, sitting, eating and dancing. What more can you ask for in a dress? The fabric is thick - but I imagine this dress can work in all seasons (the weather that night was a little on the chillier side which is why I wore stockings). Only drawback (if you can call it that) - beware the floating head when taking pictures - I will add one so you can understand. The dress is a matte black and if you don't stretch your neck out in pictures you will look like a floating head LOL!

Super fun dress for a night out. Very flattering. Easy to wear. Accentuates in all the right places. Little bit of sexy with the peek a boo skin exposure around the waist. Works fine with a 36 DD chest. Definitely would rent again and wouldn't mind having it in my closet full time.

I ordered both the size 2 and the size 4 for my vacation. It was a girls weekend and we had plans for a fancy dinner out. The size 2 fit but was really tight so I went with the size 4. I wore it with a fun statement necklace and got tons of compliments. It is a little short but since I am petite less of an issue than maybe on someone taller. I would totally rent this again!

This dress was awesome! Usually between sizes 4-6 and the 6 fit perfectly! Good length for a fun party dress (although I did wear spanx-like underwear to get more coverage) and several of my friends commented on how flattering the dress looked. Super comfortable and it makes you feel great! Middle section was not very noticeable on me (especially in pictures) but overall loved the dress and had a perfect first RTR experience.

I wore a size up from my usual so I would have more room around the snug waist so I could enjoy the feast that was planned for my evening out. Dress was fun, cute, and different from other LBDs. I wore it as a casual outfit with tights and black boots. The skirt is short enough to be the perfect length for those of us who are vertically challenged. Highly recommend!

I rented this dress as my Halloween costume; I was a witch and my 18 month old daughter was a black cat. This dress has the perfect amount of sex appeal and edge without being over the top. It's short, but I felt perfectly comfortable chasing my toddler around all day, and the waist cutout is fantastic. It's definitely a heavier fabric, but we had a bizarrely warm Halloween (around 80 degrees) and it wasn't uncomfortable. I did notice that the fabric collected deodorant marks *extremely* easily, so a clear gel would probably be better than a solid stick. Like the other reviews have said, it doesn't have any stretch to it, and it seems to run a bit small; I normally wear a size 2 or 4 and ended up in the 6, and it fit perfectly. I wear a size 27" or 28" waist in jeans if that helps :) It's solid black hue and classic silhouette make it incredibly versatile and easy to accessorize, but because of the waist embellishment, I recommend wearing a short statement necklace as opposed to a long pendant. The pins at the waist are silver, so either stick with silver or go for a mixed-metal look (I mixed silver with brass for my costume). I wish I could have kept this dress - I will definitely rent it again!!!

Fit perfect, and was just formal enough but not too casual for the restaurant I went to. I felt beautiful! If you wear it try not to worry about the clips coming undone, but if they do you can hook them right back on.

Wore this dress for a first date. It definitely runs small. I normally wear a 4 or a 6 and only the 8 was available. Luckily it fit like a glove. This dress is SO cute/flirty. Loved the hooks and small show of skin. I felt amazing all night. My date even texted me the next day and said that he got messages from two different people who had seen us during the night asking "who the hot girl was?" ;) Can't wait to rent it again!

I was very surprised at how thick the material was! You could tell this was no cheap dress! It was comfortable and flattering to my body! In my opinon it fit pretty true to size, this is definitly a short dress.....but it wasnt that huge of an issue for me cause im not very tall....those over 5'5 should maybe take that into consideration or just use extra caution moving about! lol My only slight con would be the color of the dress....When I first took it from the bag I did not notice it at all....it was when I paired it with my black clutch that I realised the dress had definitly faded....it wasnt the "black as night" black shown on the model.....but again I didnt notice that right off and im sure no one else did either. Overall I loved it! It was sexy and cute as a button at the same time! I would recommend it for sure!! :)

The dress was perfect for the occasion. It fit like a glove and minimized my mid-section. I loved the small cut-out. Most people thought it was a belt at first, so it is a very tasteful cut-out for those of us in our 30s!

Overall, this dress was a great fit and a cute edgy look whether paired with cowboy boots or stilettos! It ran slightly small in the bust and was shorter and more 'flouncy' than I expected. These factors were almost deal breakers, but I decided to wear it anyway and received compliments all night. I would recommend wearing booty shorts under it if you're going to be dancing or twirling bc the skirt has a bit of a lift, and it's already short. I went up to the 6 to accommodate my larger bust (34DD) and to cover my booty.
