Great dress! Definitely runs small though I would get a size up!

Fabric was good quality. - longer fit despite having long legs. Beautiful spring/summer color.

UPS forgot my box so it didn't come in time to wear for the event I rented it for. I rented an Elizabeth & James dress earlier this year and loved the quality. This one was spot on as well! I'm a 2 in what I call "over the counter" dresses (Banana Republic, JCrew, etc) but tend to do well with 4s for RTR. I completely agree with other reviews that going up a size as the back-up is the way to go. This 4 fit nice, but was snug on my bum. If I was wearing to a wedding, I'd probably prefer the size up, but for a party, the extra hug would be no problem.

Based on the reviews ended up only ordering the size 10, and it fit perfectly. It is extremely form fitting, and I did need to readjust the bottom each time I sat down/up. A minor annoyance considering how great the dress looked overall. Would definitely recommend doing a dry run with various undergarments because the dress will show everything. Dress zips all the way up in the back, so you might need some help getting in and out as well! A lovely choice for a spring wedding, a very vibrant color and an elegant knee-length dress.

I wore this dress to a spring wedding. It was perfect because the cut of the dress is unique and the color is fun and bright. The dress has a good amount of stretch in it. I got tons of compliments and felt great!

I feel like I say this a lot, but... OMG this is my new favorite rental! I LOOOOOOOVVVEEEEDDDDDDDDD this dress! Mary Kate and Ashley Olsen really know what they are doing! The color was gorgeous, a rich sky blue, perfect for a sunny October wedding by the ocean, The material was very thick and luxurious, and the fit was out of this world. I can't say enough good things about this dress! RENT IT!

This dress is a gorgeous color and super form fitting! I like that since it was form fitting the length kept it classy! Also you were covered up it just let your figure shine through ! I wish I owned this dress so many compliments!

I loved this dress! It fit great-the only thing I will say is that the top overlay on the skirt twisted around sometimes and it was super tight-I would probably order up a size. I had to keep fixing it. But other than that, I got tons of compliments on it!

This dress fits true to size. The fabric is thick but works well for an outdoor event. A regular strapless bra worked fine. I would size up for the second size.

The dress was beautiful for a late summer wedding. After some time in the sun the blue complimented my tan nicely. The neckline was great because it was unique and it was flattering for your arms. The length made it easy to pull off heels, and the asymmetrical hem also added an additional unique flare. Definitely not your typical dress! As for the fit... Many people mentioned it ran small. I wore my regular size and felt comfortable. I did add some spanx underneath, but only to smooth over the outline of my belly button (which they did).

This was my very first rental and this brand has become my new favorite. It could be dressed up or down and I opted for the latter. It was true to size and hugged every curve just right. Whether you are planning for a girls' night out, a formal, or date night, this dress is sure to wow. I originally thought the color would be too bright, but it was stunning! I'm so glad I read the reviews before--it definitely runs small. I'm almost always a 4/6 and decided to order the 6 and 8 to be safe. The 6 did not zip over my chest without side boob spilling out! The 8 gave me room to breathe and I received compliments throughout the night. I wish I could wear it again!

The fit is tight but not uncomfortable. I chose the size two to fit a strapless bra but the zero did not feel unreasonably tight. I was worried the length would be too long on my short frame but it was perfect for the event.

This is my 3rd Elizabeth & James RTW Rental, and I have to say...the Olsen Twins know how to make a great dress! The dress is great for tall/pear/hourglass body types but as with all their other dresses, they fit very tight, so you may be more comfortable sizing up. I have sized up in all 3 of my rentals. The fabric is thick, but I still wore spanx to feel more confident in the tight fitting dress. You can move/dance/walk easily...overall I LOVED this dress and highly recomment.

This runs small, so I was afraid the only size available wouldn't fit, it was tight, but AMAZING. My gay friend even said I may have turned him straight. Great color, unique cut, stood out at my brother's wedding . My original choice was returned damaged, so this was a backup. Then the UPS truck broke down on the way to me so the delivery was late. But, as always, the RTR customer service made my stress turn into happiness.

This fit true to size, and was a bit longer than I expected, which was good for a more formal wedding with family members. The bright blue popped against my dark features and I ended up having a random necklace that worked out perfectly with it. I think you could add any "statement" necklace. This brand makes nice curve hugging dresses, but since the fabric is sturdy and thick, it really holds you in and accentuates your assets :) I wore it from the wedding all through the night and it was never uncomfortable. Due to the cut of the top, I think a strapless bra works best!

I loved how the length of the dress balanced out how form fitting it was, I didn't feel too racy. I also loved that the material allowed me to be spanx free, it was great quality! I wore a strapless bra with this dress and everything worked out just fine, the rich blue color was devine!

I typically wear a size 2. The size 2 fit me but felt very very snug. I thought I'd be more comfortable with the 4 for dinner/dancing. The 4 fit me well. Loved the blue color.

It ran a little small, but the color was beautiful and the length was perfect even though I'm on the taller side. Loved the front with the hem.

Overall, I liked this dress. I'm not sure if I would rent it again though. As others noted, the fabric rarely laid completely flat and I often had to pull the dress down after sitting because the fabric would bunch up. It didn't seem to matter what I did, it continued to bunch in the middle and wouldn't stay flat for very long. I did like how thick the fabric was and it seemed to hold me in well and was flattering.

Definitely this dress runs small, but the larger size really was a great fit! The hem detail requires pulling to keep it straight — though that might not be the case if your legs are less thick than mine. ;) The midsection shows everything, even though the fabric is thick, so grab a pair of Spanx!

The color and fabric were great! I loved the cutout neck line. If you're a curvy girl, order a size up. Spanx never hurts either..I'm glad I did.

I rented a size 0 and a 2 in this dress. I opted to wear the 2 so I could wear a strapless bra with it. Both sizes fit perfectly. I would have worn the 0 if I was going to go braless. The material of the dress is thick enough to wear no bra (maybe just some sticky cups). The cut in the front is very different and may not be flattering on women with large bust. I am a 32-34B cup and found that I had to pull up the front often so that my boobs didn't stick out the side (that's why I gave it a 4 star instead of 5). Otherwise the dress is very well made and is a beautiful blue! I would rent this dress again.

It ran a little small - I am typically a 0 but had to size up to a 2. Very fitted and GREAT fit if you have a small upper body/run cage. Fit my top perfectly because I have a small frame. One note is that the bottom got a bit twisted and I had to shift it and pull it down quite often. Otherwise it fit like a glove and was a gorgeous stand out color!

Pros- Color, neckline, nice fabric, received a ton of compliments. Wore nude heels and a necklace I already had. Cons- Very tight. I normally wear a size 6, but I should have ordered an 8. It was on the tighter end… especially if you have a butt, which I do. I pulled it off, but I would have been way more comfortable if I received a larger size. When it is tight the bottom rides up… had to keep pulling it down. I was flying out of town so I did not have enough time to order another size. I would totally wear it again in a larger size. Great customer service!

I normally wear a size 6, but this was definitely a tight fit at 6. Grab a size up and it'll fit perfect. The color and cut of the dress are fantastic - I would definitely rent it again, but go up a size so I don't have to wear spanx. :)

This was my backup dress...I originally ordered in the pink, but when I saw the blue I fell in love! Wore a size 0...I usually wear a 2 in Elizabeth and James, but sucked it in for the evening! Comfortable dress, thick material. Wore pasties, no bra. Highly recommend anything from Elizabeth and James.

This dress fit perfectly and was so flattering! This was actually my back up dress but I preferred it so much more than my primary dress! Would definitely order this dress again, I was sad to sent it back!

Love the fit, it is very tight though, so you have to feel comfortable with all your curves! I thought the color was so awesome. A unique dress but also quite simple--love it!

this dress was perfect. it fit perfectly. the material is well made, so it really holds you in and makes you feel skinny. I love the color. Others said the dress ran small, but I went with my normal size and I think a size up would've been too big.

Loved this dress! I typically have s hard time finding a “grown up” dress because I have to shop in the juniors section but this one fit like a glove and was so comfortable. It does run a little snug though. The length was great too. The color was a beautiful blue that looked great in pictures.

I absolutely loved this dress. Felt beautiful and got a lot of compliments. I've always gotten a size 6 in this designer because it runs a little small/tight. The dress came in a little bit darker blue than the picture on the site but regardless it was gorgeous. Will rent again if the right event comes along.

The fit was true to size. The material was stretchy, which I liked a lot! It was a bit tight around my belly. I couldn't get into my dress feet first, but I safely did since the material was stretchy enough. The color was wonderful and paired with nude heels. I wished I had a size 2 to compare, but this made me appreciate the stretchy material because it was still comfortable to wear! I received a lot of compliments on the dress. I loved the back and front design of it :)
