I'm totally in loved this dress, wish I could own it! I received a lot of complements. The length was slightly long for me but I made it work with 3 inch heels. I recommend this dress for petite women.

So I didn't originally order this dress I received a different dress that didn't fit and they were able to over night this one to me. I was in love with this dress the second I put it on. It fit very fell I was nervous ordering the size 0 since all reviews said it ran small but it fit perfect. Hugs your body in very right way. The only con I had was it is very difficult to go to the bathroom in I ended up having to take the whole dress off in order to go. I can't wait for my next event just to order this dress again !

This dress was amazing! I wore it for an evening out in NYC and it made me feel amazing! It struck the right chord of being sexy without appearing overt about it. It is also versatile in the sense that no matter where I went that night I didn't feel overdressed. Aside from being form-fitting it could almost be work appropriate because of the high neckline and low hemline.I would highly recommend this dress. As far as fit goes, I would recommend ordering your normal size and the size up. I range between a 6 and 8 and the 8 fit but was snug.

Boy did I love this dress. Burgundy is typically paired with black but the light beading on the neckline allowed me to wear it with tan accessories, perfect for the NY transition from winter to spring. The neckline is tasteful and uber flattering on any shape but perfection on an athletic or broad upper body. Super tight and slender! Now here's the tricky part ladies, the bottom of the dress is tight...really tight. We're talking taking it off from the top to pee tight. Annoying yes, especially with the 2 clasps above the zipper at the neckline, however, I just chose to drink less, saving trips to bathroom and let's face it a fabulous dress is not fabulous on a sloppy drunk girl anyway :) There's even something ultra feminine and sexy about the way it altered my walk, causing slightly smaller steps and a sashay. I sashayed across that restaurant like a 1950's beauty in a Christian Dior Pencil Skirt, BAM! I dressed it down by day for a wine tasting with a tan leather peplum jacket and nude pumps, sassed it up by night by ditching the stockings, jacket and switched to sexy heels. I forgot to take a pic while wearing the dress at night but took a quick photo before returning it, don't judge as I was less bloated on the actual night worn and the pics don't do it justice)

I couldn't love this dress more. it was an adventure getting it pulled up above my butt, but it was so worth it. it's definitely a smaller extra small than I'm used to, but it really helped suck everything in. my figure looked phenomenal, way better with the dress than without ; ) the color is absolutely stunning in person and photos. it's a decent weight material as well so it doesn't slide around at all. the length is just above the knee, so the tight sexy aspect of the dress is toned down by the conservative length, which I really liked. I wore this to a charity fundraiser but you could easily wear this to a party and look super sexy. I would recommend this over and over!

Run very small....mermaid fit, but great quality material! Lots of compliments!! It was great for the fundraiser formal party!

If you want to dance and move around freely in a dress, this dress is not for you because it does have a tight fit. I didn't mind the fit because the dress gave me a very nice hourglass shape which was the look I was going for. The berry wine color of the dress looked amazing against my fair skin tone. I got compliments on the dress the whole night. I will definitely rent this dress again!

I wore the size 2 but like other reviews I read this dress definitely runs small. Not a ton of give in the material and it was very difficult to go to the bathroom :/. I think a 4 would have been a perfect fit for me, however, I usually wear a 0 or a 2. Beautiful dress, got tons of compliments.

I felt so glamorous wearing this dress and received tons of compliments. Rented the 2 and the 4, and ended up wearing the 4. Normally I'm a 2 but the larger size felt better while sitting.

The color of the dress is beautiful! It goes well with minimal jewelry because of the necklace detail. The dress is very fitted but overall flattering. This was my first time with RTR and everything about their customer service was perfect. Absolutely adored this dress, I got compliments all night!

The fit on this dress in incredible and SO flattering. For being a form fitting dress, it was also surprisingly comfortable.

I loved this dress. The color is perfect, a deep wine. The dress is true to size but it is very fitted, so be wary. The dress was a great length for me, even being so short-it was only an inch or so past my knees, which made it great for the formal event I was attending. I received so many compliments from people throughout the night!

Such a beautiful and form fitting dress. Has close to no give in the fabric, definitely size up. Received many compliments from my boyfriend's family and family friends all night. Didn't have to wear spanx since dress was so form fitting. Bust size is 34DDD.

This dress fit like a glove and was super flattering and slimming for my hourglass, athletic figure. It is an easy dress to wear and hugs / slims you in all the right places. The color is very sophisticated and elegant for evening. The detail in the sewn-in choker detail looks rich and cool. This halter cut is especially flattering. While body-conscious, the dress length on my height (5'4") hit right above the knee, so it looked elegant and sexy at the same time. I received many compliments, and I am searching for a way to buy this dress, as I could easily see myself going back to it again and again. Perfection!

This dress is stunning. I did not originally order it, but after my original dress was damaged, this was sent and I have to say I LOVED IT! The cut in the arms was beautiful and makes toned arms look even better, the color (like merlot) was complimentary and the length on me, was sofisticated. Although I felt like when I walked it wrinkled up a bit at the hips and was pulling down to look sleek in pictures, it overall fit well! and look stunning!

I rented this dress for my girlfriend's engagement party. It was very comfortable while still being form fitting. I have a larger bust and a small waist, so it is not always easy to find dresses that accommodate both.... this one fit like a glove! I would have been comfortable wearing this to a more formal event, like a wedding, as well. This was my first RTR experience, and I will definitely rent again!

This was actually my first time renting from Rent the Runway & this was also my 2nd choice dress. This dress really works on emphasizing the best parts of your body! It really did give me a petite waist and just that va va voom hourglass figure. The dress is not lined but it has a really nice thick material that hides what one might consider "imperfections." I suggest wearing this dress with some ivory colored D'orsay styled heels for a dramatic affect and perhaps a ring or some earings since its kind of hard to match up any other jewelry to the embellished neckline. I wore this dress for a pageant interview and I received compliments from both my fellow competitors and the judges, I was definitely one of the best dressed there, haha! I would certainly recommend this dress for any occasion, & I will most definitely be renting dresses from here again ;)

Runs small and tight and had to go with my back up size. Shapeware was a necessity given the tightness of the sheath. Absolutely loved the color and neckline. I received so many compliments all night long!

This dress runs very small. I originally ordered this dress for my birthday in January but ended up being too sick to go out. I had a size 0 & 2 sent and both were too small. I ended up ordering the 4 for my second attempt. This dress has no stretch and thick seams along the sides - almost as if someone took it in. The cut is great for those of us who have toned arms. The decorative neckline is gorgeous. All my girlfriends loved this dress.. And all my boyfriend could say was "wow!"

Size was right on. My backup size was an 8 based on reviews that I read that the dress ran small. The 8 was too big. This dress feels good on. Very comfortable and fitted. Material perfect, not too thin for a tight fitted dress.

This dress was an absolute stunner, the pictures do not do it justice. The detail in the neckline is so unique and the fabric is fitting yet stretchy and moveable. The 4 fit me like a glove (thanx Spanx!). I paired it with the 'Gold Dress Me Up' Bracelet, the AV Max 'Pure Isis' Earrings and my own bone colored BCBG pointy closed toes heels. The dress also looked brand new, I'm thinking I may have been one of the first lucky ladies to get to wear it.

I really wish I had a full picture of this dress but I only ended up with three photos that people took from their phones. In a dark room. Oh well. Loved the dress. I can often times size down to a 4 but there would never have been any chance of that happening with this dress (which interestingly enough I did the last time I rented from this designer). My husband said he thought it looked like it was made for me. Super sweet. But it did fit just perfectly. Wouldn't have looked right any bigger. If you're considering renting this, I believe opting on the side of next size up for the second dress, to be safe.

Obsessed with this dress. I wore it to my friend's 30th birthday party. The shape is extremely flattering and the fabric has just the right amount of stretch and weight - it would look great on anyone. I'm 5'8" and it was the perfect length, hit just above the knee which I liked because it's so fitted. I paired with the Jude Snake clutch by House of Harlow. Amazing look, I can't wait to wear it again!

It ran a little small and was tight around the neck area. Sitting down was a bit tricky too because it pulled at your throat, but other than that it was a nice dress with a good fabric and pretty beading. Not for those who are self conscious about their bodies.

Everything about this dress is beautiful. The color is great in person, beading detail at the neck is not too much, fabric is thick and great quality so it never bunched or creased in an unflattering way. I felt it does run a little small at least for my body type. It was a squeeze to put on around my hips and it was a definite challenge in the ladies room since the base of the dress is very narrow! My occasion was a dinner where I was sitting most of the night and it was a little tight at the neck, but it would be just fine if worn to a party where you are standing most the night. I only took one star off because of these items because this dress is smoking hot!

I loved this dress. Fit snug and perfect! Length is classy and fit is sexy. If you are trying to get really crazy and dance you may look at looser dresses--but that was my only complaint. Id rent this dress again, even my bf was sad we had to send it back!

Dress fit great! Reviews were accurate in that it ran small. I usually wear a 0 or 2, so I was glad I ordered a backup size in a 4 after reading the reviews. Dress was form fitting, but was comfortable to move in all night. Color was a nice departure from the typical LBD. As usual the RTR process was so easy!

This really is a gorgeous dress, the color is rich and the beading adds a sophisticated touch. I normally run a size 0, but thank goodness I ordered the 2 as a back-up, I couldn't even get the 0 past my hips. The 2 even felt a bit restrictive, but everyone said it looked good. My boyfriend LOVED it! The dress definitely shows off your curves. I wasn't blown away by this dress for a few reasons: 1. it's made for someone with more bust and less hips, not for my pear shape, 2. The neck piece was really tight. In fact, I didn't even fasten it and just wore my hair down to cover it, 3. It wasn't the most comfortable dress. I felt like I had to sit up very straight all night...not a lot of give!

The color was nice but maybe a little too burgundy/deep wine color. I generally prefer more bright, happy, jewel tones. The necklace collar was unique but very high and maybe a little snug, I would have preferred to have the option to not have the embellishment and have the dress' quality tailoring and material speak for itself.

As many of the reviews that I have read stated, this dress definitely runs small! But, it was absolutely perfect! I am typically a size 4 (sometimes a size 6) and so I wanted to order a 6 with a back up size 8. The only size available to rent was a size 6, so I was really nervous when I took the chance of ordering without any backup size or dress. However, it fit like a glove! I would have liked to see how the 8 fit, especially because I have wide hips... it may have fit a little more comfortably. But the size 6 did the job! The material is so nice and thick... after having two kids I was super nervous with it being so tight around the stomach, but it held everything in! When I sat down for dinner it became tight around the neck area, but other than that it fit fine. Walking around, my knees could barely come apart, there is no give at all. But I got used to it and spent most of the night on the dance floor.... walking up and down the stairs was a little tricky! Haha. I would definitely rent this dress again, I received lots of compliments and was so happy to be able to wear it to this event. I would highly recommend it for others, and if possible, suggest ordering a size up with a backup dress 2 sizes up.

Rented this for my rehearsal dinner. Got tons of compliments! I was nervous because I normally wear a size 10ish. It got like a glove tho. Was not the easiest to walk in but it was worth it;

Let me start off by saying everyone else's reviews were spot on. I always filter to find other people my size and based my decision on that. I normally wear a 0, but I ordered a 2 based on everyone else's recommendation. And I tried to select the 0 as my backup size just in case, but it wasn't available. This was the only time I've ever ordered a dress from RTR not having the backup size, but everything worked out perfect because the 2 fit like a glove. I received so many compliments. I usually like dresses that are short and tight. This was a little longer than I would've normally worn, but I felt like it was very appropriate for a wedding.

Fabric was snug and flattering - covers everything without Spanx! Didn't love the the neck since it felt a little tight, but the dress looked amazing on. A little hard to walk in but worth it.

This dress is Tight: And It is Beautiful. The fabric is thick enough to be forgiving over any small flaws. It is very comfortable, once you wiggle it on. Beware of going to the bathroom - it might slide right on, but it is difficult to pull up. Best method it to take it off.
