This skirt is a high quality, soft denim and hit me at a good length (I'm 5'3.) mine didn't come with the belt that's pictured on the model, but I think it looks good without it! Very comfortable and easy to wear, I'd definitely rent this again!

The lightweight denim has a little bit of stretch fur ease of movement. Great business casual piece for casual Friday's at the office.

Normally I don't wear color, but figured since we were going wine tasting in Napa black/white wouldn't make for a good pic in the vineyards! Skirt was super comfy and cute! I paired with one of the Raoul tops and white sneakers. Would totally rent again if it weren't such a noticeable skirt!

I should have ordered a 4 but this still worked. I had to wear the belt pretty tight so it was a little bunchy at the top. I suspect that in a 4 the skirt would be pulled funny over the top of my butt because the lines are pretty straight. I wore this out to play with my two year old and it was a good length to not flash anyone

Runs a little big but was able to cinch it tight enough to make it look cute. It's a great skirt for work or everyday. Very flattering and easy to wear.

This fit well and was versatile but wrinkled easily. I felt like I looked pretty sloppy by the end of the day wearing it.

I actually love the fabric of this skirt. It's soft and not too stiff. Disappointed because it arrived with stains on it (at least two) and without the belt shown in the photo. It's a little roomy, but not too big. I probably could have sized down.

runs really big

I have rented this skirt twice, and both times it was amazing! Wore it with a grey body suit and flip flops :) I unbuttoned the bottom a little to show more leg! Sassed it up a bit :)

This is a really lovely, easy-to-wear skirt. I got lots of compliments wearing it, and thought it was super cute paired with a grey or black tank. For shorter ladies (I'm 5'5), it'll hit mid-calf or lower.

Worn with black body suit and gray adidas sneakers. Incredibly chic and perfect for walking around the city. The picture shows with a belt but the skirt I received did not have a belt attached. Since it is higher waisted it was looser around the abdomen but it wasn't horrendous and not that uncommon for my body type! I would certainly rent again!

Did not need to size up like most Elizabeth & James, should have gone w/ my regular size. Wrinkled quite a bit while sitting at my desk all day. Very, very cute - lots of compliments. Hit mid calf.

Mine didn't come with the belt so it was a bit loose in the waist, especially after wearing all day. Otherwise super comfortable material and fit.

So said my boyfriend of this midi. I loved it and wore it over and over. Was a bit big in the waist but I didn't much mind. Mine came with no belt which I would've liked to have. I think this is a super cute and versatile item and considered purchasing.

I'm 5'8" and this skirt was a little too long to be flattering. It made my body look like a stump. Did not wear.

Usually find e&j to be small or tts. This skirt was gigantic. The 2 was like a 4 or even a small 6. Matched w gray high neck crop and vans. Cute casual look though. I might rent again but size down for sure.

Had to send this back because it was way too big aronud the waist. I wasn't a fan of the fringe detail along the top but the skirt is a nice color.

I wish I would like this skirt, the but color and the fabric did not go well with my skin color and complexing, it opens up when I sit down.

The color was much more apricot than the lighter peach shown in the photo. Fabric was actually very thin and stretchy when I was hoping for more of a denim fit and feel. Fit me through the hips but was so loose in the waist (36/28/40). I think sizing down would have caused the skirt to stretch instead of laying flat. Wasn't meant to be!

I have an hour glass shape and I struggled with the fit of this skirt. The idea is so cute, but the proportions and fit just weren't very flattering on me. Great high quality skirt though.

This ran too big so I ended up not wearing! Might try smaller size.

Though my normal size (10) fit, the buttons pulled due to my hips. I have to say though, I LOVE how high waisted this skirt is!

I wore this out to dinner with friends, definitely easy skirt to throw on but seemed kind of plain. Not sure I'd order it again but i can see how it could be dressed up and super cute

Really wanted to like this skirt — the quality was amazing and the color is a little brighter in person. While the waist was a little big, the belt made it easy to cinch in so it could fit my waist. The problem was that it just made me look frumpy. Tried pairing it with white Converse first, then a pair of wedge sandals, and either way it just didn't work.

Awkward fit

I followed reviewer suggestions and sized down with no issues. When I first put it on it seemed to fit well and still not pencil skirt tight. Still, as soon as I started walking in it, it rode up in the hips and the second and third pulled and gaped really horribly.

I am usually a 10, but ordered a 12 because E&J usually runs so small. A 10 would have fit better, but the bigger issue was the waistband. There is a belt, but no defined waistband underneath, so the skirt bunched and looked matronly. I really wanted to love it, but because of the waistline, I returned it without wearing it.

I didn't wear this. I am usually a 6 so read reviews and got a 4. Should have ordered a 2. Style is meant to be high waisted so because it was so big hit too low and proportions were off. Liked the color and material was light and easy
