This dress fit beautifully! Nice, thick material. I am usually between a 2 and 4 and I wore the 4. The dress does have some stretch but I felt the 2 was too tight. Would definitely rent this again! My hubby loved it!

This dress is super flattering. Form fitting. Enough stretch without being too much. Cut-out detail is super cute. Hugs a muscular bum without any weird bunching.

The color is even better in person- a very sexy rich red (not orangey at all). Fit was super sexy but not too over the top. Wore for my 40th birthday!

This brand definitely runs small. I rented a 6 and usually wear a 2 in other brands. I probably could have worn the 4 but wanted to make sure the back cut out wasn't too tight. I wore it to a formal event, and I felt like the conservative length balanced the color and back nicely. Already regretting sending it back...will probably buy it next time!

Loved the fabric, which was form-fitting but also smoothed everything out. This was a great dress!

I've rented a million Elizabeth & James dresses and I have to say this one wasn't my favorite. I feel like this one fit more true to size and a bit more stretch than most of their dresses. Still a great dress and fun to wear- it was perfect for a more upscale barn wedding!

The 4 fit perfectly, the back section was just right, not sagging and not squeezing skin/fat. The 6 was sagging in the back (the lower section). Wore a regular bra with straps and it was not visible at all. The dress fabric is heavier so you can't see your bra through it, not sure how spanks would look probably fine. Fell just above the knee (I did not want anything short since the back section is showing enough skin in my opinion). Put some bronzer on your back and good to go!

Lots of compliments on the vibrant red. The side cut outs and back are flattering. The fabric does not really stretch so it can be difficult to walk up stairs, however very comfortable otherwise. I'm usually between a 4 and 6 and I went with the 4. The 6 was a little too long since I'm rather short.

I often go between a size 4 and size 6. Admittedly I did put on a few winter lbs. The 4 fit but was very tight, the 6 was much more comfortable and I was able to move around in it.

Got lots of compliments on this dress! Fun cutouts, beautiful color. Careful though... the cutouts are in places that are not flattering when sitting down, so be sure to be standing up tall for any pictures taken

This dress fit so well. I was very happy with this order. The color was perfect for a September wedding. The length was very appropriate too considering my parents were also at the wedding lol.

Fit like a glove! Ordered the 4 and the 6. Didn't even try the 4 on because I like the fit of the 6 so much. Loved how it hugged my body in the right places. Very comfortable, could wear a regular bra (big bonus), and received multiple compliments. You will need help to get the top zipper. 5'5, 130pounds, 34DD.

I rented this for a wedding. I have worn this designer before and typically wear a size 4. I rented the size 4 and 6. The 4 fit perfectly, however, had black stains all over the butt of the dress! I did end up wearing the size 6 to the event but was a bit looser and longer then I would have preferred. I would say the dress it true to size. I was worried the red would be too bold for the event but it was super classy and felt like a million bucks!

This dress was fantastic. The color was spot on perfect for first day of fall outside wedding. I received so many compliments. The dress did however run small. I should have worn a size up at least. I wasn't uncomfortable in the material. It stretched with my body while giving a flattering look. I would and most like will rent this dress again.

This dress was definitely the hit of the night. When I arrived at the venue one of the first people who saw me walk in was the bride's mother and her jaw literally dropped as she blurted out "Wow!" The bride also sought me out during the night to tell me how much she loved my dress. I am normally a 4/6 but I know E&J tends to run snug so I rented the 6 & 8. The 6 arrived with a busted zipper which I'd read about on other reviews, so hopefully that issue will be addressed before it gets shipped out to someone else (I called customer service to let them know about it). The 8 fit, but I definitely had a little room. The 6 probably would've been perfect, but the dress is fitted enough that the 8 worked out of necessity. Overall this is a great dress and my husband even said he hopes I rent it again. *Don't rent this dress if you're uncomfortable having all eyes on you.

This dress was a hit. The cutout in the back perfectly hides a regular bra and the fabric is very comfortable. Runs a tad small as I wore the 8 and I'm normally a 6. Doesn't stretch much so going up stairs is a bit tight but overall, perfect wedding/party dress.

Wore this to a fall wedding with my ex boyfriend (photo not altered). Felt like a million bucks, but he thought differently, which probably should've been my first red flag. Long story short: Very flattering and beautiful color.

Loved this dress. Shows off arms and back. Nice length considering its a very form fitting dresss. A little tight around knees which restricts you from taking big steps but who needs to walk when you look this good?! Actually, very managable though.

The red hue of this dress is nothing short of beautiful. I loved the way it hugged my body in all the right places and gave me a very sexy silhouette. I'm truly between a 6 and 8 right now, and I think I could have worn the 6 with this dress, but the 8 gave me more breathing room to eat and dance. I did find it difficult getting in and out of the car because of how tightly the dress hugged my legs. The fabric was of a great quality, thick and durable. The back cut out made the dress a show stopper and upper strap in the back in my bra perfectly. Would recommend this dress to everyone! Would definitely rent again!

Love love loved this dress! Beautiful cut, thick and lined fabric, and unique back. I wore this on a Valentines date (with nude heels and a chunky necklace) and ended up wearing it to work with a blazer (to cover the back) too. I have wide hips and it was a little fitted around my booty -- not the easiest to move around in, but definitely not terrible. Great dress!

Great dress for a wedding. The red has a slight orange tint to it, so it was tricky to pair a lipstick. The fabric is thick and form fitting. Many compliments throughout the evening.

I ordered this as a back up, but ended up wearing it simply because i liked it better than my original. I am short and curvy, and bigger on bottom than on top, so i was worried about how tight the dress would be, but it had some stretch to it so i was fine. Fit both my top and bottom well. There were two cons: 1- the back opens just where there is that fold in your back, so when i bent side to side there was some back fat going on. 2- it is tight enough that it made salsa dancing and getting out of cars difficult. Not much room for leg movement- kind of limits you to short steps. However overall looked awesome, and i got a lot of compliments.

Dress fits true to size, I normally wear a 0 or 2, but ordered a 4 because I was afraid it would run small. The 4 fit good, but I should've ordered the 2. This dress was so fun to wear, I never had to worry about it slipping down or feeling like I had to "suck it in" all night. I was able to wear a regular bra, and danced all night without any wardrobe malfunctions! Sad to send this one back!

The only con was it was a little harder to dance in because it was tight all the way to my knees. Overall, I loved it and felt great in it!

This dress allows you to wear a regular bra or has enough structure to go bra free. It's extremely fitted but still worked out well for me on the dance floor! I didn't have any issues with the zippers as some ladies have noted. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I wore this dress to an expensive scotch tasting event. I got so many compliments on how classy and sexy it was. The best part of the evening? My ex was also present at the event and he kept coming up to tell me how good I looked. Mwahahaha! It felt amazing!! I wore the size 0 and a Nubra and it fit perfectly. My one warning about the dress though: the zipper on the top half comes off easily. I was able to fix it to make it work fortunately, but I worried about a potential wardrobe malfunction during the night.

So I order this dress as a back up and ended up wearing it! I am 5ft and it was the perfect length! The color made such a statement. It fit me like a glove. And the back of the dress gave a sexy but classic look! When it originally came in the mail and I tried it on I noticed the zipper was broken. I wore this dress for New Year's Eve with my husband. I Loved it- this dress is a stunner! Based on previous reviews, I ordered a size small, but I'd say it's more true to size. It's a great length- I'm pretty tall and it definitely wasn't too short. Since it's pretty tight and has a somewhat open back, I appreciated that the length wasn't too short. I didn't wear one, but I'm pretty sure you could wear a normal bra with it, too! The zippers are a little tricky to get on, so be sure you have a buddy to help you get dressed. Overall a really awesome choice!
