Size up - I’m normally a 2 or 0, but always get the 4 in this brand and this was still on the tighter side

I’m 5’ 9’’, 150 lbs, cup size B (a small b). It fit perfectly and I was very comfortable. Beautiful color. Lots of compliments

Such a rich plum color and fit very comfortably throughout the body. Room to move and nice thick material that shaped great. Loved the little pleated flair at bottom, and being only 5’0 it was still perfect length!

Fit was tts. Plenty of stretch!

Im larger in the chest so this was a bit snug for me. Its super cute though.

I wore this to a winter beach wedding. I was hesitant with the darker color but the plum color was amazing. The deep V neckline, mixed with the fun cut out backing made the dress so fun and sexy. There was many layers and pleats in the skirt part which made it fun dancing!!! It was short though, I'm 5'7" and it just covered my back side! I would highly recommend. The fabric was very comfortable and breathable.

I loved this dress. I am usually between a 0 and a 2 in this brand but glad I went with the size 2. Everything about it was a great fit. The skirt does remind me a bit of a cheerleader but I liked the look because it was different.

I wore this dress for a wedding. The deep plum purple was perfect. The dress was form fitting on the top, yet flowed on the bottom half. It was great for dancing and free movement. It wasn't too fancy, but the material and the look of the dress was easily suitable for a formal event. Easy to match accessories and doll up. I got a lot of compliments.

This dress was so fun to wear and I got a bunch of compliments! Very form fitting but fabric is on the thicker side so it gives a nice buffer. I loved the cut out detail in the back. Highly recommend.

I am 180 pounds and about 5’6. All the reviews said it ran small and none were size 12 so I was worried but FOR NO REASON! Great dress and so comfy. I wear a 36 C and it held the babies in the right spot. Great length for dancing and sitting with no worries. I don’t have the flattest stomach and the drop waistline still wasn’t an issue. I even had love handles but it hugged my curves just right and I was so comfy. Definitely recommend this dress 💜

This wasn't the dress I originally picked out. I had rented another dress but I got a message saying the 0 couldn't be shipped. So, I was able to pick two additional dresses in size 0 to replace it. This was one of the options I selected and I'm glad I did. I received lots of compliments on it. It's a little snug in the stomach area but overall it is really comfortable. I have a pretty small chest and it fit well in the dress. If you have a large chest, be prepared to have a lot of cleavage!

Super flattering - I couldn't wear spanx because of the open back but I didn't feel like I needed them. Loved the cut and color! One of my favorite dresses I rented for a wedding this summer.

The color of this dress is beautiful. It fit true to size, but I went a size up for bust comfort 😂. The dress was a little shorter than I expected, but I’m thicker bottomed. I’m normally a 4 and I wore a 6, only for peace of mind with the cleavage (I’m 32DD). It was very comfortable and lasted me a solid 16 hours. I’d rent again in a heartbeat! I LOVE this dress! I wore it with this jewelled belt that i owned, but it looked great without it. It should probably be steamed or dry cleaned before wearing as the pleats were a little messy, but i didnt have time and i was still very happy with how it looked.

Super long story, but wound up running into the actual store (ups held my dress hostage) trying thisnin and walked out with it! Hugged in the waiste with a slight flare/a-line. Sure oute and received compliments allllll night!

I loved this dress. It was a perfect fit but the skirt was a little short on me. I would have worn the next size up for some extra length but the back up size had two rips on the back of the dress.

I have relatively large shoulders and this fit like a glove! I rented it for my brothers rehearsal dinner and wore it out for drinks after. Perfect for the transition. Thick enough to wear in the 37 degree weather.

This was a great dress overall. I am short and athletic build and this was perfect. MateriAl was heavy but very forgiving and comfortable. No part was too loose or too tight.

Super sexy, but does run a size small. I loved the figure hugging fabric with cut out detail. Had to use fashion tape to make sure my strapless bra didn't peek out, but for someone with a longer torso this might not be an issue. Length was perfect on me, but would be super short on someone taller.

The dress is a heavy material, but I liked it because it wouldn't blow up in a breeze. I also liked the open back of the dress. I typically wear a 0 or 2, and in this dress the 0 fit, but was a little tight in spots, so the 2 was perfect. I wore this to an outdoor wedding.

This dress fit perfectly - slim waist, very flattering. I loved the back cut out, and just felt like a million bucks in it. The halter top is lower cut than I expected, so be prepared to have some cleavage out there. That said, it worked perfectly fine without a bra. Would definitely recommend!

I wore this dress for a date to a vineyard with my husband. It was perfect! You can dress it up or down so it is very versatile. The dress fit like a glove. With every other RTR dress there have been aspects I've loved and other parts that I haven't liked as much. I loved everything about this dress. It was supportive enough that I could have gone braless, but I opted to wear it with one of my regular bras that has convertible straps. I will absolutely rent this dress again.

It is a little low. And loved that I could wear a bra (strapless). It was a great fit and great color!

I rented this dress for a wedding not initially loving it but having no other options. That being said once I tried it on and put the accessories with it I fell in love. I rented the 4&6 after reading that E&J dresses tend to run small. I never had to try on the 6 because the 4 fit perfectly. I couldn't wear a bra with the dress because you could see the sides from the armholes but I felt secure enough to go bra less. I'm a 34DDD and the material was thick enough and had enough support for all night dancing. The bottom of this dress is a dropped waist so if you stomach is your problem area I wouldn't recommend this dress. It is hard to wear spanks with because of the cutout in the back. The skirt part also reminded me of a cheerleading skirt with the pleats but it didn't come off as too cutesy. I would rent this dress again or any dress from Elizabeth and James as they're perfectly suited for petite women.

I absolutely loved this dress! It fit absolutely perfectly. I rented it for my cousin's country club wedding in early spring. Since I ate a lot at the wedding, I started to feel a little bit self conscious about the tight midsection towards the end of the night. But overall, I received so many compliments about how well it fit me. I danced the night away with ease. My one request would be that it could be a little bit shorter, however that is probably because I am so petite.

I loved this dress! I wore it for a winter wedding, so I had to wear a jacket over it for part of the night as I was chilly without sleeves. At 5'10", it was quite short on me, so I had to wear tights, but I could have worn it to a different type of event or in warmer weather without tights. Definitely runs small, so order a size up! I was able to wear a regular bra with this dress.

Great dress for dancing! The skirt does a great twirl, but because of the heavier fabric, doesn't reveal everything. Fits like a glove, but thicker fabric hides any imperfections. Definitely recommend.

Ultra flattering fit and flare. The material is super thick and pulls you in in all the right places and the cut is incredible flattering. The shape is super feminine and the cut-outs make it a little sassy.

Perfect for pair-shaped body types! Tight at the top and loose below the waist. Thick material, but that made the dress super comfortable. Not too short but no longer than mid high length. Only small issue was that it was difficult to zip the top section in the back. I needed assistance and the zipper got stuck on the material. But a little patience fixed it! I got tons of compliments and I'm considering going out and buying this dress for future events. Love love love!!
