This dress was perfect for my friends rehearsal dinner in August. The material was thick enough not to show any flaws!

I wore this for a nicer bridal shower at the Ritz Carlton. I got so many compliments! It fit like it was made for me. The fabric is excellent and obviously very nice, it is quite thick and has a great shape. I am 5'5", 130 pounds, 34C cup. Larger hips and small waist. I thought the 4 fit appropriately. It is short though and while I felt fine wearing it, it might be too short for anyone taller than me. Wish I owned it!!

Adorable dress! Rented it to wear to my birthday brunch. Runs a tiny bit small and very short but the neckline is fairly conservative so it balances out. Love this dress!

Wore it to an outdoor barn wedding. Super cute, love the color (others' description as a "Tiffany blue" is accurate (photog did some serious color washing to that first pic, it's more vibrant, like the second pic), loved the sort of flair/structure of the skirt. It is a little short, but I mean, just don't do an Elle Woods "bend and snap" move. All in all, it was super comfortable, and I felt cute and flirty.

I got tons of compliments on this dress - the color is amazing! I wore a size 2 (I'm 5'3, 120) - definitely didn't have extra room but it was a great fit.

Tons of compliments all night! Great thicker fabric but not too hot for a 90 degree day with high humidity! My only complaint is this designer runs way small! I typically wear an 8, sometimes a 10 because of my boobs... I wish they offered more size 12's for the athletic build girl!

I rented this for a Derby party. The material was thick making everything look seamless while wearing it. It also had a little stretch, so it was super comfortable! I have longer legs, so I had to be careful when bending down. But overall, I loved this dress!!

I loved this dress, I want to buy it! I rented it for a wedding. I loved the color, and paired it with a necklace to help dress it up a bit. The fit & flare style is perfect for defining my waist, and was very flattering. This dress might run a little small but not too bad--I'm normally a 0/2 and the 2 fit perfectly, the 4 was too big. It was short, but since I'm short (5'2" ) that was ok. Material is good quality and heavy so I never had problems with the skirt blowing up even though it was windy. And it was comfy to dance in! My husband and I tore up the dance floor!

Gorgeous color and sexy yet still somewhat conservative dress! Be ready to show some leg if you're tall is the only potential negative depending on what you're going for. I wore no bra and loved the way it looked, though if you're concerned about chest being a bit flattened you may disagree (I don't mind the look) SUPER IMPORTANT: Elizabeth and James has their own unique size chart. I apologize for anyone confused by it in the photo. Seemed like it would more useful than a pic of me :)

I usually wear a 4 but had to go up to the 6. also it's a bit on the shorter side but still tasteful. Otherwise it fit just right everywhere else.

Great dress for a hot NC fall wedding. Color is not as bold as it looks. I ended up wearing the size bigger since the size 6 was just a bit too snug in the chest area. I got so many compliments. The bottom hem does flair out on the back. I taped it up but other than that - it was great! Highly recommend!

I usually run between a size 2 & 4, and the 4 fit comfortably. Definitely recommend wearing some spanx if your stomach is a trouble area. By far one of my favorite rentals. The color is stunning! Be careful if you bend over, the back is a little short, but not horrible. Wore this to a summer evening wedding.

I love this dress! I'm petite and it's challenging to find a nice dress with the right length. This dress was perfect! I wore it to a wedding on a very hot day and I felt cool and comfortable the entire time. I received so many compliments! I normally wear a size 0-2 but after reading the reviews I knew the dress ran small so I ordered a size 2 and a size 4. Both sizes fit but I opted to wear the 4 as it gave me just a little more room (which was needed after the awesome dinner we had). I would definitely wear this dress again!!! Thank you RTR :)

This dress is even prettier in person. Perfect length - just above the knee, great material and doesn't wrinkle easily. Paired it with nude heels and oscar de la renta necklace.

I wore this to a steamy Memorial Day weekend wedding in North Carolina. Nothing will keep you cool in 90 degree weather, but this dress was breathable. I got tons of compliments, and I felt beautiful in it. If you're tall, either wear flats or pass this one up because it's SHORT. It was fine with heels on my 5'2 frame. It was fun to twist and twirl in. Also, the hem is kind of funky and flops up and over a bit. Like everyone says, size UP. I couldn't even get the 4 over my ribcage. Overall I would rent this again. I'm convinced it would look good on anyone.

I wore this bright aqua dress for a spring wedding at a national park that used to be an amusement park — I fit right in among the carousel horses. The attire was “a notch or two above casual,” and I paired it with strappy espadrilles and Jenny Packham “Something Blue” drop earrings. I thought the fit was pretty flattering in the chest and waist. I had rented a similar Elizabeth and James dress before, and the 8 was very tight, so I made sure to get both an 8 and a 10 this time. The two sizes were pretty similar, but I went with the 10 because I forgot to pack my spanx. You could just barely see the outline of my belly button. I wore a regular bra, though the straps did pop out a bit a few times. Also, the lining was a bit loose so the bottom edge of the dress wasn’t perfect.

This dress was wonderful! Looked great in person and in photos. This was my first RTR experience and it was amazing. Other reviewers said this dress ran small, and a rent-the-runway worker advised me to size up; however, I wish I had ordered a smaller size as my backup. I would say this dress runs true to size. I also think this dress can be dressed up or dressed down. The fabric, fit and cut are high-quality and flattering. Overall, great experience!

pro: beautiful and vibrant color. Con: I'm 5'8'' and 158 pounds and this dress is short! If I bent over I would be flashing people. I do not recommend this dress if your going to be doing alot of dancing, due to how short it is. Lucky for me this was a small intimate wedding so no dancing was involved. Loved the dress overall, looked great in all the pictures. Runs small I had to size up, zipper was hard to get up perhaps due to use.

This dress is amazing. It fit like it was made for me. Material is thick and good quality. It is on the shorter dice which is great for my height because everything is always too long. I wore this to a fancy end of the summer party at a country club and got lots of compliments from random people. I want to rent it again! One thing- size 0 my second size choice was not wearable because the lining was coming out and was too long for the dress. So glad 2 fit perfectly.

I wore this to a bridal brunch and it was gorgeous! The only compliant I may have is that it was pretty short. I'm nursing right now so finding a dress that's cute & still fits on top has been difficult. I'm 34DD 120 lbs and 5' 5"....the 2 was pretty tight so I sent back in for a 4, which was great. A 6 probably would've worked well too. Love the fabric and has a nice stretch to the top. The color was beautiful!

I wore this for a rehearsal dinner. It would be appropriate for a baby or bridal shower. The dress was fitted at the top and flares in the skirt. The dress was very flattering. It fit true to size and was not a super-fitted look which some Elizabeth & James have. I would rent this dress again.

This color is the absolutely favorite part of the dress. It stand out great on just about any skin tone. I definitely suggest size up for this style as it does run very small, I'm usually a size 6 but this was a size 8 and it fit perfectly.
