I sized down for this dress and it fit perfectly, it was a little snug in the chest. Also, it's not nearly as low-cut as it looks!

I was a little worried based on the other reviews regarding the size. I'm normally between a 0 and 2 (depending on brand) but almost ordered a 2 and 4 based on the reviews - I'm glad I didn't because the 0 fit perfectly. The dress was a great length on me, hitting a few inches above the knee, and the V-neck isn't quite as deep as the picture makes it seem. The fabric was comfortable and I'd definitely recommend this dress!

Elizabeth James is a constant go-to for me. I love the way this dress fit. I usually struggle with dress length being on the shorter side, but the length on this one was perfect! Loved the color too. Even better in person.

Very forgiving - a nice stretch to the fabric which was great. The "V" in the neckline was not too deep and I loved the simple look.

I wore this to a family wedding and it did not disappoint. Both the 8 and 10 fit, but the 8 was more snug and showed off my curves so I went with that size. It wasn't super short (fell at just above the knee), which I prefer, and it showed the perfect amount of cleavage (not too much and not too little). I would buy this dress in a heartbeat.

The dress is not nearly as low cut as it looks in the model photos. It was a little more fitted just below the waist than I expected, but it still fit really well. I'm 5'7" and it came to my knee, which I was really happy about. A lot of dresses that look knee length end up too short on me, so it was a big plus for me.

I rented this for my cousin's wedding and it was perfect! It was body hugging, but not too tight. The color was awesome too (the photo is a little dark), but I got tons of compliments on it. It was very easy to dance and move it as well. The 10 wasn't much different from the 8, but I wore the 8 because it fit a little better. Size wise though, it was fairly true.

The dress was perfect for a work christmas party! The fit was very flattering and so comfortable! My backup size was the 6, which also fit but with a little more room up top. I wish I had this in my closet! I would definitely rent this again.

Loved this dress! Color was beautiful; runs a smidge large, I could have worn a size down. Was a little longer than I thought it would be. But overall, beautiful dress for a cocktail night or wedding event.

Pros: Great fall color and fun dress! Not too revealing. Cons: The bodice is tighter than expected - I thought there would be a bit more flair. Which makes it zoom in on your lower belly if you have one (which I do haha) If you up the size the dress becomes longer not wider. Also - the stitching can be weird on this dress. The lines on the skirt are made out of tiny stitches - the size 8 looked gross and sloppy while the size 6 looked fine. So it all depends on which dress you receive I guess.

The dress fits great! I wanted something different but my original order was delayed. RTR sent me this because there wasn't a lot in my favorites available in my size at the time. Fits great, low neck is low but not as low as on the model. Would rent this again but for a more casual event.

It fit great and was perfect for what I wanted. I wore it with a cardigan but could have done just as well without. This was rented for a September wedding. The color and cut were perfect for what I wanted. Material is thick and the dress seemed good quality and well made.

would recommend this dress for other women with small busts. As a pear shape, I found this fit to be really comfortable - the fitted top and the flowy skirt made for a fun dress for dancing at a wedding

I love this designer but I felt that the style didn't seem very flattering on me. I usually wear a 2 to 4 and in this designer I always wear a four (This is a size 4 and it fit fine). It's a beautiful color, and a really nice fabric.

Flattering cut, sexy plunge, maroon/brick and zipper down the back made for a fun and dressy valentine night out! The dress seems a little worn though as threads were a bit frayed.

The length was good, not too short, and the deep v worked for my size chest. The biggest draw back was the seam below the V was rigid and tight, really started to hurt if I sat for too long. After wearing the dress for 10+ hours I really couldn't imagine wearing it again.

This dress looked and felt cheap on- would not recommend.

I am typically a size 4 but ended up wearing the size 6 because the size four I received the edges of all of the seams were frayed. It ended up working out though as it is a pretty tight fitting dress so the size did not matter much. I did like the dress and got lots of compliments on it. Great color for a fall wedding.

I wore this to my graduation ceremony. I read a lot of reviews that said it runs small, so i got a 2/4 and usually wear a 2. The 2 was actually...not big or baggy, but I just had plenty of breathing room...quite comfortable really, so if anything, I would say it runs true to size/large. Honestly it didn't much matter how it fit because I had a cap and gown on the whole time, but it was long enough (on me, I'm 5'3") that it hit just above the knees, which I felt was appropriate for the occasion. The low cut V is not nearly as low as in the model pics. But also I have small boobs, like 34Aish, so there's not much to expose anyway. It's a nice classy dress, nothing super special but it worked for my event.
