I'm 5'8", 125lbs and 34C chest. I usually wear a 2 or 4 dress. I got a 4L (& 6L as my back-up based on the other reviews about small size). The 4L fit great (it was a little too long so used a couple of stitches to tack the hem up). the 6 was OK, but a bit big. 2 probably would have been too small. Soft, nice material. The only issue was what everyone else mentioned that it could have used a slit to make walking easier. I found myself just hiking it up a lot when I was walking to be able to take half-way normal strides. But I loved it. Standing still it was amazing. I would definitely get it again.

The simplicity of this dress, and subtle details are amazing. The slits in the side are curved, and give it some flare. I didn't end up wearing this out, so I can't speak to its longevity. But this gown is very heavy and hot. I had it on for only about 5 minutes. I will be renting this gown for a winter wedding in the future.

Love this dress. Wore it for a bridesmaid dress and it was perfect. I'm usually a 4-6 so that is why I say this ran small. Sized up to the 8 and it was perfect.

Great dress, fit and color. It was quite long. I am 5'8" and the regular length still touched the floor. Be prepared to wear some heels!

I rented this as an option for a gala but ended up not wearing, primarily because I thought the color washed me out. I ordered a size up from my regular size, but because the fabric is thick and does not give much and there is no slit, I still found the dress to be a bit too restrictive. It is very well structured though with great material and I think photographs very well! As with other reviews, I'd recommend going one or two sizes up

This dress is so pretty and sleek, but those cut outs are ROUGH. if I stood with anything but perfect posture my sides would be spilling out. Normally a 10, but a 12 was the only thing I could get into. If I went up another size, I'd have too much room in the chest. Wish it could work, but it's not for my body type.

Perfect fit, beautiful color, & many compliments. It is a little long & somewhat hard to walk in because there isn't a slit. Despite that would definitely rent again.

Wore this dress to a gala with 3.75 inch heels. Fit like a glove, and because there is no slit, had to hold the dress up to walk normally. I did not wear a bra and had to wear underwear that made it look seamless. Other than that, this is the second rental I’ve done with rtr and they do not disappoint!

I'm a true size 2 and this dress fit like a glove. It was so flattering and I felt so confident. Weirdly tight at the feet so I had to be careful walking, but overall an amazing dress!

125lbs 5’5” 32D I normally range from size 2-4 in dresses so I got both and the 4r was a little small but still fit well.

I wore this to my junior prom & I loved it. I read the reviews beforehand & everyone said to go a size up, do it!! I am usually a 0 and I ordered a 2 and it fit perfectly. If I got a 0 it would've been wayyy to tight. The dress is very classy & flattered my body nicely, but it was hard to walk in the dress because there is no slit on the side and the materials thick. So if you are planning a night of dancing, walking,etc and want to be comfortable this probably isn't the best choice (just a btw) :) but over all I loved my experience with RTR & the dress !!

This dress was gorgeous! The neckline is very flattering but the rest of the dress is very tight! If you're at all worried about your stomach, I'd skip this one. The light color is unforgiving. As other reviewers said, the fabric is pretty thick and the skirt is very narrow. As long as you're not trying to do splits, you should be fine to dance. The color really is a light blue, but the blue doesn't come across in pictures very well, unless you are next to something white – luckily that means if you are going to wear this to a wedding, you really won't look like you're wearing white next to the bride!

I had to order this dress last minute after the dress I ordered wasn't available and it was perfect! I loved the fit and got endless compliments. The dress was comfortable and perfect for a black tie wedding. I can't wait to rent this again!

True to size. A little longer than I expected but it worked out.

I usually am a 0 or a 2, but this I wore a 4 and it was even slightly tight around my rib cage. Also, I'm 5'4 and it was a bit hard to walk in as there isn't a slit and the fabric doesn't give. Overall it looked great though.

Overall the dress was great but I had to wear pretty high heels (maybe 5 inch platforms) since it was long on me. It fit well, was really comfortable, and was the perfect color for a summer dance.

Overall a very flattering fit and nice color. I wouldn't recommend to someone trying to hide their stomach, as it is very form fitting. I am 5'5''-5'6'' and found the 4R a little long, even with heals on. Other than that it was a great dress and I'd recommend. Customer service was also great

The fabric reminds me of body con dresses - very tight! I loved the color and how tall and lean I looked. The regular is long so be prepared to wear high shoes. There also is no slit, I was fine with it but I definitely limited moves on the dance floor. I would recommend this dress for any formal event, the material is well made and the plain palette allows you to get creative with accessories.

I didn't wear this dress but only because another dress I rented was even better. It fit beautifully though and seemed to suck my belly in flat without Spanx and streamlined my body really nicely. I'm usually between a 4 and a 6 and the 6 was snug, so if you're on the fence about sizing I would say go up. The colour is really pretty and the overall look is elegant, I will definitely rent it for my next occasion.

This mint color is light and beautiful! Dress fits tightly but the cutouts and neckline are extremely flattering. The darts on the chest can create a pointed look. I was unable to wear undergarments because it was so tight- but the material is thick and the dress was extremely comfortable. It runs long, but did not drag with a tall wedge.

I LOVED this dress. I felt elegant, beautiful, and comfortable! In 3 inch heels it was just off the ground, a perfect length, and it fit everything else perfectly, too. The material, although very high quality, has minimal stretch so I would definitely recommend ordering a size up. Loved this dress!

I'm normally a 4L with Rent the Runway, but I checked out the reviews before hand and sized up. I'm glad I did because the 6L fit great! The length was perfect. I'm 5'10 and wore flats, and it was plenty long enough. The only cons were that it's kind of difficult to walk around in since it is so narrow and there is no slit in the dress. I kept having to pick it up to walk. Also, this dress looks much better with Spanx, no matter how thin you are. However, where the cut outs are is right above the top of the Spanx. So it creates more of a muffin too than you actually have. I went without them due to that reason. Altogether, it's a gorgeous dress with a lovely color. I got compliments all night!

Comfortable and easy to dance in! Hard to take long strides while walking but not horrible with short legs. I'm 5'2 and 115 lbs with 32 D. Definitely would recommend!

The length was perfect with heels. It was very comfortable but you had to take short steps to walk. I would definitely rent this dress again!

I LOVED this dress!! I wore a strapless bra which worked great, but you can't really wear underwear at all with it, which is good to know going in, because it really shows through. Got tons of compliments-- super elegant and all around stunning dress.

I also wish I had rented a regular instead of a long, but I was able to roll the bottom with hem tape and it looked great - you couldn't tell it was taped up.
