Elizabeth and James is so consistently awesome. This color matches ANY skintone and this cut is so flattering! I paired it with nude pumps and rented that teal kendra scott necklace as well. LOVED this outfit for my bestie's shower!

I usually HATE orange stuff but was dating someone who weirdly likes orange. Got this for a work to date and actually loved it! Great cut and perfect for day to night.

Waist ran small but the material is very nice and thick. The dress is also on the very small end. Very nice d color for the summer!

I received nothing but compliments on the dress all night! Looked amazing in all lighting. Only complaint I would have is it is extremely short in the back. I'm 5'2 and was VERY cautious when it came to even sitting as i found it barely covered me. When I rented they only had my true size (4), but I'd recommend going up one size as I find it to have ran a bit tight in the bust. I would absolutely rent this dress again!

Perfect summer formal party dress. Great material and fit if you get the right size. SIZE UP. I didn't believe the reviews and would have been way more comfortable in a 6. I wear a 4. Overall though, awesome dress. Highly recommend

A little Tight in the bust area but wasn’t uncomfortable or anything like that! Perfect length! The zipper was having a little trouble going up and down but fit perfectly!

I normally wear a size 2, but the size 4 fit perfectly. This dress was not too short, and was extremely comfortable. No bra was necessary, because of the lining in the dress, which was done on purpose for this reason. Every one loved the color. Perfect for a summer wedding.

This dress was so comfy and looked really good with a tan. I normally wear a size 2 but the size 4 fit me really well. Also didn't have to wear a bra which was a plus also!

...my "about you" doesn't seem to be updating - weight should be 125 lbs for reference... was very happy with fit both in length (i'm short) and shoulder/bust region (sometimes have trouble due to athletic shoulder area)... color is a little brighter than it looks online and if you're more on the fair side like me, i definitely recommend a spray tan - would've completely washed me out otherwise... fabric is a good thickness and overall very comfortable... i did notice some wrinkles in the front (from sitting) towards the end of the night but overall, it wore very well... paired with a statement necklace & some nude strappy pumps and was good to go - would rent again for sure!

This dress was super cute! I wore this on a formal night on a cruise. The dress itself runs small, so I had to size up, but the length was perfect for my petite frame. The orange creamsicle color went really well with my slightly tan skin tone. Perfect dress for a formal event in the spring/summer!

I'm very petite, barely 5'2, normally wear a 0- but like all E & J dresses, I sized up and wore a 2. Fit like a glove. Length was just right for me, but can see being shorter for taller girls. Color was a pastel orange, very pretty. I'm rather pale, so a spray tan kept me from looking washed out. Tons of compliments on fit and color. RTR does it again!

I loved this dress!!! The color went great with my skin tone and fit great as well. This was actually my replacement dress as my original couldn't be shipped to me. It was a little small around the waist, but it still worked out. I would also be careful about the length as it was a little short. I might have worn the 6, but the hem was coming undone and did not look right. Other than that, it was perfect!

This dress has no stretch so keep that in mind if your between sizes. The color was beautiful! I am 5'9" so this was getting close to being too short, but I don't mind showing a bit of leg! Great summer dress, wore to a Derby party.

Rented this for a girls night out. I am 5'2", 115, 34D- it was definitely fitted on the top/bodice, but flattering. Material was great quality, and I got tons of compliments! Would absolutely rent again/recommend.

I am 5'5", 32B and normally wear a size 0. I ordered a size 0, however I opted for the size 2. The 0 fit like a glove, but since I was wearing 4" heels + going to a family event, the size 2 was a better fit given the occasion. If you have long legs, I suggest getting a size up as a backup just incase. Perfect for a summer event and I will definitely be ordering more Elizabeth & James clothing - you could tell the dress was very well made.

I wore this to a wedding in July and it was perfect! In terms of sizing, I wore the 4 (which is my normal size) however it ran a little bit on the smaller side. I would suggest ordering one size up for the back up in case you prefer a looser fit (I personally thought the 6 looked too big but some may prefer a little room). The length was also on the shorter side but again if you were to order the next size up you may find it to be a little longer if you prefer that. I didn't have any issues with the dress being too short though, and actually found the shorter length to be more flattering. Also, the dress is a little bit brighter than in the pictures (I actually liked it a lot better when I got it in person). All and all I received a ton of compliments and would definitely recommend renting this dress!

Ordered a different dress for a mid-day summer wedding, but one of the two sizes came back to RTR damaged or late. RTR chose this dress--a greater value than my original choice--in my normal size and sent it along with my original. It was such a perfect surprise! I ended up wearing the original dress to the rehearsal dinner, and this awesome dress to the actual wedding. The fit was perfect and true to size. The material was light enough to be cool in the middle of the day during a June wedding, but structured enough to not feel limp and stick to my skin. The skirt of the dress is pretty short, but the flare shape is flirty and fun to dance in. The simplicity made it easy to dress up, but still looked great when I put on flats at the reception. The color looked great with my tan-- picture doesn't do it justice!

This was a great dress and I loved the color. Best with a racer back bra.

I got tons of compliments on this dress! I got this as a backup because my second size of my original dress couldn't be shipped. I obviously liked it more than what I had originally picked out, since this is what I wore to the wedding! The color is very different and fun! I thought the fit was very flattering and comfortable, but it was a bit snug on me around the bust and waist area. I would say it probably runs a little small, since I normally wear a 4, and the 6 felt so snug. It wouldn't say it was tight, but just very fitted--clearly not that big of a deal since I still wore it. Maybe someone with a smaller cheat wouldn't have the same problem. :)

I was surprised how much a liked the color. It is much brighter though, then it appears in pictures. As with all Elizabeth and James , I recommend going up a size or two. Pair a fun necklace with this bright dress and your ready for a fun summer party.

A little short

The color of this dress looked great against a light spray tan. The fabric was perfect for a 70-degree day. It was very comfortable and I got lots of compliments. The dress definitely runs small, so size up. I'm a classic size 4 and had to wear the 6 (thank goodness I ordered a backup size). The 4 was just too tight and I could barely get it zipped. Also, it is short. I'm only 5'3" and was wearing just a 1-inch heel. I definitely could not bend over in this dress - tall ladies, beware.

This dress was definitely cute, tight on top so I didn't need to wear a bra. The hem was coming undone (hence the 4 stars) at the bottom but I just ironed and hairsprayed it and that fixed it for essentially the entire night. I'm 5'5 and wore an 8 and I was worried when I sat down/stood up about my tush being visible but just walking around I don't think it was too short. Great if it's hot out!

This was sent to me as a backup when the dress I picked came back too late to send. I was very impressed with the turn around time on getting me a replacement. They actually sent two new options for me. Regarding the dress it was very cute. Orange is not my color but this was a flattering peachy color. The length was perfect for me at 5'5. Great dress to dance in. My only reason for not giving it 5 stars was due to the cut up top. I like the E&J dresses that cut in slightly to create more shape. This was more of a straight line which created a slight boxy look. Got lots of compliments though so apparently no one noticed!

I really liked this cute little dress for a summer wedding celebration in California. The color is a very pretty pale peach that worked well with my tan, I thought. I’m usually between a 6 and an 8, and I’ve worn a similarly shaped Elizabeth and James dress in an 8 before, but based on the reviews, I sized up. Unfortunately, the 10 was damaged, and as it turned out, the 8 was way too tight. I ended up wearing it anyways with a normal bra and spanx, and over the course of the evening, the dress definitely bunched up in the middle (as you can see from the photo), and I was pretty self-conscious about it. I still got tons of compliments though!

This dress fit when it arrived but I didn't like the way it looked — much more flared out than in the photos, just a weird silhouette — so I went with an alternative option.

Perfect for a hot summer/fall day. Although I wore it to work, I'd wear it for a date or daytime event. Just switch up the shoes. (I only wear nude color heels)
