This dress was great - fit true to size and was perfect for a friend's wedding - where my parents were also in attendance. The color and cut are fun - it's pretty short, but still tasteful - and the side cut outs are subtle enough that you barely notice them. I paired it with an RTR necklace and really loved the whole outfit!

I ordered 0 and 2 for back up. I worn 2!! Normally I ware 00, 0P but for this dress 0 is too small. I'm 5'5 22A and 100 lbs.

Elizabeth and james use the original sizing so you have to take 2 sizes up if you're used to recent US sizing. Good quality dress.

I received SO many compliments on this so decided to hang onto it and wear it more than intended. I'll definitely be re-renting again! The dress is a wonderful lilac and the cut outs were flattering and perfect. The dress does run small so be sure to size up so that you don't feel too squeezed in.

I'm pretty small up top, but it hugged perfectly. The material doesn't really have stretch, so keep that in mind but it's a great color. I'd wear this in a bunch of different colors.

I'm usually closer to a 2 but this 4 felt great - wore it to a 12 hour wedding and barely noticed I had a dress on. Highly recommend.

This color is perfect for spring/summer and the cut of this dress is everything! It's a skater dress with a twist. DEFINITELY snug, so if you have a big bust, order a size up. True 0 for small-chested ladies.

This I would say is true to size. I usually wear a 4 -6 and I orginallu ordered the 4 it ended up being to small so I sized up a size. So much fun to spin in!

Fit was a little tight. Sleeves are snug on your arms so size up if you have larger arms as I do. Side cut are so cut - until you sit! Be ok with some rolls hanging out if you have that haha I wore the dress without a bra. The material is thick and I didn't think I didn't a bra. Love this dress!!

I loved this dress! I wore it for a Sunday afternoon engagement party in Long Island and received tons of compliments. The color and cut were perfect for the event, and the cutouts added a fun element to the dress. I ended up wearing the larger size even though the 4 fit better, as the zipper was a bit stiff on the size 4 dress. If I had help zipping the dress, I would've worn the 4 - you can see in the picture the 6 is a bit tight in the bust and arms. Despite that, I absolutely loved the dress and would rent again!

Great fabric, nice and breezy and the color was very classic. The silhouette was on point and very different from the rest of the wedding guests- a stand out for sure!

I didn't end up wearing this as it was too snug through the torso in an 8 (my sides pooched out through the cutouts) and it arrived stained. I think a 10 would've been fine. This is the first dress I've ever been unable to zip up on my own due to the sleeves constraining my movement. Lovely lilac color and super thick material, wouldn't bother with a bra. Flared skirt fit my hips comfortably.

I rented this for a bridal shower. The review all said to rent a size up. I had actually rented this as a back up for another event in an 8 and it was stingy and too short so I tried a 10 this time and it was perfect. The fabric is stretchy and thick enough that I didn't have to wear a bra. Will definitely rent again!

This dress is definitely true to size. I found the zipper a little hard to zip up but I got help with that. The material is definitely super thick, and great rich material. You can tell its not cheap, and I didn't wear bicycle shorts under. I read in reviews that if you have a chest it might be too tight but I did not find that an issue. The only issue I had was that were was a small stain (but I immediately contacted RTR and got reimbursed) and that it was slightly large by the cut offs.

This dress was super cute! It was made out of a really thick, nice quality material. Was easily worn with a bra and supported my 32DDD bust.

My daughter needed a purple dress at the last minute for her sorority's Founder's Day event so of course I went straight to RTR. She usually wears a 0/2 so I got both sizes and for this she had to wear the 2 but I think the 4 would've been better. It was pretty snug and the fabric has NO give. She's 5'3, 110 lbs and a 32B. She paired it with a pearl necklace/earrings and nude strappy pumps. She got so many compliments! :)

Great dress! Flattering and fun! I loved dancing in it and felt very comfortable. The top fits tight, but it is loose from the belly down which allowed me to comfortably eat lots of cake and cookies :)

Loved it! Had to wear the 6 cause the 4 was way too tight on my chest. Very pretty, hit right above my knee.

Fit like a dream (I had to size up from my normal 4, but the 6 was PERFECT), and the color was amazing - great for those with ashy, cool-toned hair. Got so many complements all night and felt like a goddamn princess.

The only thing that I may not though about was the two holes on the sides. Once I realized hat my roles came out if I bended I felt a little bit self conscious.

Might run right through the bust if you are over a C cup. It is very flattering. Short so it is youthful looking. The cut outs are very cute without being too revealing

I'm normally a 2 but I have slightly broader shoulders so I decided to wear the 4 because it allowed me to move around more comfortably. The weight of the dress is a little heavier which was exactly what I was looking for to keep the dress from blowing up at the windy Big Sur outdoor wedding I attended. I might have been a bit hot in it if I was at a 90F outdoor wedding, but this was perfect. My only regret was not taking a vertical picture where you can see the cutouts, because they were so cute. I loved how the dress flowed when I danced, it was so comfortable and perfect. My fiance actually made fun of me because I kept looking at my reflection in the window while we were dancing :P I would size up for the backup size just in case if you have a bigger chest and shoulders

This dress is such a pretty purple color. I'm so thankful for the free backup, because I ended up ordering the larger of the two sizes (the 10). It does fit small. As others have mentioned, the material is very thick, but it didn't bother me. I couldn't wear a bra with this dress due to the location of the cutouts, so make sure you have a bra alternative. So many people complimented my dress throughout the night - I'm so glad I picked this one for a summer wedding in Palm Springs!

This dress is so amazing, super cute and sexy at the same time! The only issue is the sizing. Based on the reviews, I ordered a size larger (2 instead of my usual 0), but the 2 was massive. I couldn't even wear it, and I always try to make something work. I returned it and ordered the 0, and it was so tight and super tiny. This one I made work, it was just so tight it was impossible to feel comfortable in it, especially when sitting. It was worth it overall, because the style and color are so amazing, it was one of my favorite styles I've rented so far. Definitely order two sizes if you can, because it seems there is no in between for way too big and too tight.

Great dress for a wedding, formal yet a hint of sexy with the side cutout. Runs a bit tight around the waist. I wear a size 34B bra and had a bit of room to fill out in the chest. Great material too. Elizabeth and James does it again.
