I really liked wearing this piece the colors popped and looked very appropriate for work. This piece is very short even at only 5'3" I second-guess wearing for work but decided to pair with tights and flats and it worked. It does run small as I found it a bit tight in the hip area and I'm typically a size 4 to 6. Overall it was very comfortable and stylish.

This style is fun and quirky! It runs true to size, however can be a bit large so I would recommend going down one size. It's great for any cup size and can be worn with a standard bra. The fabric has some stretch to it as well, but not much. You can dress it up with a pair of stilettos or dress it down with tights and boots!

Snug around the hips and baggier up top. However, that's the nature of a square, mod dress. Likely meant for the tall, slender type, but as long as you get the right size (I had to go up to a medium), it should work well. The material is very warm so recommend for fall and winter events. The dress is the statement piece so I wore limited jewelry, black leggings and ankle boots. I'd also recommend for shorter hair or pulled back longer hair.

I wore this dress for a belated birthday dinner. It was super warm and thick, it almost felt like someone made a dress out of a blanket. I liked the color/pattern. My only complaint was how the pockets were placed. Unless you have your hands in them it makes it look like you have a gut. The dress itself was also pretty short so I had to wear leggings underneath.

This dress is beautiful. The print is actially a beautiful blue and white pattern with green accent. The blue really pops in person. I rented this to wear while on a trip over the holidays, but the fit is not flattering on my body- definitely should have heeded the warnings about the shape of the dress being best for thin, or at least straight figured girls. I did not take this on my trip, but wore it to work to get some use out of it. I received conpliments because it is a pretty dress, but ot is not super flattering. Even if is sized up, this dress would not really work for me, but for thin girls with minimal curves, give it a try. Very warm and great for winter.

I was excited about this dress, but it didn't look good on me at all. A main reason I had problems was the pockets at the hips. Even though I only wear a size 4, the bulky fabric and lining combined with the bulky pockets made me look super-thick in the hip area. It literally added 15 pounds to my look! Additionally, this fabric, as I stated, is THICK. I would have roasted in this even in the winter. Disappointed it didn't work out. I had to send it right back.

I thought this dress would look so cute with tights and booties on a freezing day, but it was so awkward. The fabric is very thick, and the cut is just off. The arms and chest fit fine (I have a large chest), but across the stomach, the pockets caused the dress to be very tight. I think even if I sized up, it would have been tight across the hips (and I am not hippy and do not have a large behind). It almost fit like it had been washed and shrunk. I sent it back without wearing it. But... very warm and thick fabric, and it looked cute on the hanger! May be good for someone very thin and narrow (definitely not me) who sizes up?

A little stiff, and maybe too short for something formal, but very nice and overall loved it!!

Although it's a little heavy, the weight was great for the office. The blue is a strong cobalt but I received many comments on the pattern and style. Fit is slightly boxy but for the office is fine.

Please have a stronger cleaning process in the arm pit area. There is a strong BO remaining on the inner lining of the dress.

Adorable, but it's very warm. Think about how you'd feel if you wore a heavy blanket.

What a perfect winter everyday dress! It fit me like a glove (I Love shift dress with room in the middle). It was a bit short but still work appropriate. Very unique design. Loved the sleeve length. I received so many complements. When I saw it was only $40 to own it forever, I swiped right so fast lol. I could see how this might swallow a petite or slim person though - being a shift dress with very thick material. But for me, it was one of the best rental (and I've rented a lot here)!!!

For starters I could hardly get myself inside of it. Was way too tight, need a larger size

Fit was great. Of course, a little short if you raise your arms so be careful at work. Wore with nude pumps. Will rent again!

Rented this to wear on an early fall evening date with my husband. I normally wouldn't rent a dress for a date night but it was to an upscale restaurant in our new hometown so I wanted to go the extra mile a bit. I loved this dress on the website and in person but sadly I was not able to wear this. To start it is pretty short and at 5' 2" that's saying something for me. Additionally it runs small so I couldn't get either size on comfortably. That said the folks at RTR were wonderful and credited me back the $$ I spent on this dress. It's that level of customer service (and the gorgeous clothes) that keep me coming back year after year.

I loved it in the picture, but it was a bit boxy in person. And it was far too tight even though I ordered my normal size. The colors are pretty and I'm sure someone more fashionable knows how to make this dress look great. Order up a size though.

As other reviewers have noted, the material on this dress is very thick so it should only be worn in fall or winter. I paired with navy tights and boots for a date night. The shape is pretty boxy, which I liked, but wasn't the most flattering.

The dress is perfect for spring weather as it is a thick fabric, but still a short dress. I wore this for work followed by a dinner in the city. I would say it runs on the smaller (and short!) side. It was just long enough to wear to work, but it was definitely just on the edge of being too short. The fabric has virtually no stretch, and I found it plenty roomy in the body but snug around the hips (it has pockets which also added to the snugness around the waist). Since it's a shift, and not fitted, I think I should have sized up to allow for a looser fit and longer length.

Dress was really cute and comfortable, but tight in the hip/backside. Definitely still wearable and great looking (albeit short)! Probably works best if you have a straight figure as opposed to hourglass.

Wasnt very flattering. Loved the material and color but the shape was very boxy. I couldn't put a belt around it bc it was do short. If i raised my arms above my head, my bottom would have been exposed

So this is nice and thick and WOULD be comfy but there is NO give in the fabric so those with sizable chests and/or butts / curves, beware. You NEED to order a size up. It's super cute but I couldn't wear it :(

I'm a little large on bottom and small on top so I found this dress a little less flattering for me than it might look for someone who has straighter lines.

Fit was a little weird, seemed disproportionately small on the bottom compared to the top. Additionally this fabric is much thicker than it appears in the photos, this is definitely more of a winter dress.

This felt very 1960s with a very micro mini skirt. With my height mostly in my torso, this wouldn't have been appropriate without leggings. The fabric was awesome, dress well lined, and seemed great quality. Just too short for me!

Like most of the other reviewers, I found this dress to be too short, too small, and just awkwardly cut. This might just be a classic case of European sizing, where a medium is actually a US small. Recommend sizing up, but even then, if you have any curves at all, there's a high chance this won't look good. I ended up exchanging this for a completely different dress because I didn't think a bigger size would fix the problem of the cut, shape, and bulky pockets.

Would look great worn large & loose on someone who has stick skinny legs.... that person wasn't me. Very rectangular cut. Hid my waste, added pounds to my stomach. But really fun color & style. Bummed it didn't look better!

I thought that this would look cute on me, but the dress runs small and had no stretch so it looked like an ill-fitting potato sack...

Just terrible. Couldn't even put on. Send back immediately.
