One of the most comfortable gowns I've worn! The top section has a built-in bustier with rubbery strips that will prevent the gown from slipping off. I felt very secure in it. It'd be a perfect prom gown if you want to dance the night away! If you are curvier than me, I recommend going with your regular size and sizing up for the backup. I'm about 5'4 and with 4-inch heels this gown is just sweeping the floor. Along with the ombre color, I think it's simply dreamy!

I am a 6'0" tall pear. I usually rent 8L but the 6L was the only L size available. It still fit perfectly - I had about 2 inches of dress on the ground and wore flats, and the corset was tight; tightest around the bottom where the corset and skirt meet. We did a wine tour around Seneca Lake so I spent a lot of time sitting and climbing in and out of a limo. It was tight to sit for that long but it wasn't at all unbearable. No bra was needed and once it was zipped it didn't move. Loved this dress but I would rent the 8L next time.

Wore this dress for a beach wedding and it was perfect ! Bust ran somewhat small so I had to wear a size up, and the dress was a little long for wearing only flat sandals. Top stayed up well and didn't need to wear a strapless bra, dress has plenty of support !! Perfect for the Greek goddess look, and definitely perfect for a beach wedding.

Great for fuller hips and narrow waists. I have a small bust so it was slightly big up top but the waist fit perfect so the dress never felt like it was falling down and I wore a padded bra . Lots of fabric in the skirt but it looked beautiful. The color is a very pale lavender up top and a grey lavender on the bottom. I also added a silver belt at the waist because I thought it looked better with a belt. Of note: the size two dress had stains on the bottom when it arrived, I called RTR and told them and luckily the size 0 ended up fitting better anyways.

Corset is very fitted. As someone with a bigger chest, I usually don't feel as secure in strapless pieces, but this was very comfortable and I didn't have to pull it up once! The dress is very long. I'm 5'9" and I wore six-inch wedges and it still brushed the ground when I walked. The color is very subtle ombre. Sweet and simple.

I wasn't able to get my usual size (6) because it wasn't available that weekend but I'm glad I didn't because the bust size was perfect. The dress was very long so I had to pick it up all night while I walked around but it was worth it!

I loved this dress! The fit was perfect and the color is beautiful. I got many compliments on it throughout the night. The regular size was plenty long for me. I wore the dress with 3" heals and still needed to pick it up slightly when I walked. I was worried about how white the top might appear because I wore it to a wedding but it was definitely lavender! My only complaint is that the rubbery edge to the top of the dress kept curling outward and I had to repeatedly adjust it. I still highly recommend this dress!

I kept getting compliments all night on this dress! I only ordered long sizes, i'm 5'7" and wore heels that made me 6' but the dress was still a little long! I prefer having a long dress than having a dress that's too short because it looks nicer but when i took my heels off it was way too long! So unless you're super tall, get the regular length!! Other than that the fit is great and it's a gorgeous dress for any occasion!! So happy with this rental :)

The long is definitely long, I'm 5'9" and wore 4-5" heels

I wore size 0L, it was pretty tight and I did worry about it falling down, but overall the fit was nice. I'm 5'8" and with 6 inch wedges, the dress still touched the floor. So know that the long size is very long!

As other reviews stated the corset is very tight which is good because it keeps the dress from falling, but make sure to go with your size and the next size up as a backup. I wore heals and the 4 Long and it was a little too long, but I liked the drapey look it created. Also the ombre is super subtle but the color of the dress is still gorgeous and not as pink as it looks in some of the pictures. Overall such a perfect gown, I loved it.

The fit was perfect. I was a bit between sizes only because of my small bust so I sized down. Length was perfect. Just off the floor with three inch heels. I felt as beautiful as I did on my wedding day.

I originally order the BCBG Blossom Festival Gown for my senior prom and fell in love with the dress. However, I received an email the day before the dress was supposed to come in saying that the size 8r had a problem with it and I would not have the dress for my rental session. But I was able to pick another dress (no extra cost) on the website if I emailed them back in time. I did not see the email till later that night so it was too late for me to pick another dress so they picked out another dress that was similar for me to rent. I was a little worried if I would like the dress and if it would fit. When I got my box I was so nervous to open it. I opened the box and saw the most beautiful lavender dress, I was so excited! I tried it on and it fit like a glove, the only problem was that I had about half a yard of fabric around my feet... I was able to go to a seamstress in time for her to hem tape the rest of the fabric into the inside of the dress without ruining it. So if you are under 5'5 I would highly recommend a professional seamstress to hem tape your dress if you're renting the long! I did not have the power to order the 8r but I think it would have made a big difference if I got the regular. I received many compliments! The color of the dress went well with my skin color! The material of the dress was comfortable for me to dance all night long! The top of the dress was structured so it held the dress up well! I recommend wearing a white necklace to compliment. The BEST part about receiving another dress was that I heard from a few people that another girl had the same BCBG dress that I rented, I was really stressed that someone would be wearing the same dress as me, but everything turned out great afterwards! I love rent the runway and can't to wait rent another dress from here!

The dress runs true to size and fits perfectly length wise for an average height person. The ombre is not as dark as shown in the picture so the dress is overall mostly lavender.

I am 6' tall and was nervous about the length because I have had problems with dresses being too short before. I figured to be safe that i should order an 8L (And the 8R wasnt available for rent at the time due to a last minute rental). The dress length was a tad long, but if I were to wear heals it would have been extremely well fitting.

This dress was in perfect condition when I received it. The fit was perfect and the colors are gorgeous! I'm 6'1 without heels and with 2 inch heels, the long size still touched the floor. Needless to say, it's he first time in ever had to pick up a dress when I walked. I'd recommend this dress for any tall girl who is worried about finding a long enough dress!

Wore this to prom. The corset was very tight and I usually wear a 6, so I would definitely size up. Otherwise, beautiful gown. Flowed beautifully and very comfortable! Helped slimmed down my figure. I'm 5'11 and got a regular length gown because I was planning to wear flats anyways and it was the perfect length! If you're wearing heels and you're tall, definitely get a longer size.

I wore 3 inch heels, so the dress was skimming the ground. Sometimes my heel would catch the back of the dress but that issue was likely due to the dress being just barely too long. The material on the inside of the dress is really silky, but that also means that if you're wearing a bra, it's going to be slipping down throughout the night, even though the bodice is like a corset (and definitely very tight). Overall it was a gorgeous, well-fitting gown - I would just recommend for those with a larger bust to make use of a strapless bra and fashion tape to keep it up.

It really was a beautiful dress. I ordered 4L because the last dress I got was too short and I had to last minute order this one. It was was too long! I didn't wear heals so maybe it would have worked for someone 5'10" + with heals on. It was still beautiful though and I received compliments the entire night.

I rented this dress for my senior prom and it was beautiful. It fit very true to size. The only issues were that the dress was extremely long (I'm 5'3" and wore the 0R) so I would beware of that if ordering. Also, when I received the dress the zipper on the one I wore was broken in comparison to the one on the same dress I ordered in a size up. Other than that, everything was great. I will be renting again.

Great dress! I have an athletic build with a more built upper body and it still looked very feminine. Adequate length. I am 5'7 and approx 140lbs.

The dress fit like a dream. The length was perfect with heels, the color was beautiful (ombre was a hit), and the quality was great too. I got so many compliments on it all night and I'm so happy with my choice! It's a really comfortable dress for dancing, I didn't have any trouble with the strapless aspect. The top was a bit stretched out from other (probably bigger busted) girls wearing it, but nothing that was uncomfortable. I maybe had to pull the top up twice throughout the night. My only tiny complaint (and I read it in other reviews) was that the boning was actually poking out of the dress and it got worse through the night too! There were literally sharp pieces of plastic coming out of my dress and the night went on!! I didn't stab anyone and thank goodness they weren't on the inside so they weren't stabbing me, but I would ask Rent the Runway to quality check this and make sure that they don't send dresses that are too badly damaged. The fit in the bust area was a bit tight. I didn't wear a bra for it but the dress has a built in. The dress is really flow so it allowed me to dance freely. However, I believe they sent me a 4R instead of a 4P because the length was super long whereas the backup size 8P was short on me. Overall, I would definitely rent this dress again.

Snug fit at the top which held up the dress perfectly. Really flowy towards bottom so prefect for dancing!

The bust was tight, but I think I'm a 6 not a 4, it was my fault to order too small. I liked that it was a different color than most who wore black dresses. Liked the fabric also.

[At this point I consider myself an expert on RTR's purple gown offerings.] I rent something purple each year for the Lupus Foundation of America gala in DC/NYC. This dress was just...stunning. The ombré is lovely in person; subtle yet certainly noticeable. And it fit perfectly to my body type (tight-but-not-suffocating bodice with a flowy bottom). While it was quite long, I am not one for towering heels, which might have solved that problem. As well, something sharp from the side of the dress kept poking me under my arm. Easy fix with a small scissor so no real problem. 9.5/10!

Beautiful flowing dress. Great color for summer. Light and comfortable. Only con was that dress is really long even in petite sizes.

I absolutely loved this dress! The color was perfect and so was the fit. I got a petite because of some of the reviews mentioning the length was really long. The petite fit perfectly with about a 1/2 to 1 inch heel. I didn't feel like the dress was constricting. I wore spanx underneath and that made it a tad tighter but I was comfortable all night. No need to wear a bra for me and the dress stayed up the whole night. Overall I was very satisfied with the dress and I didn't need to even try on the 4P. I think the color was gorgeous!! You can't see the bottom in my picture, but the ombre is just amazing!

I was part of a bridal party in late September in the Hudson Valley of New York. The bride decided to have all the bridesmaids in different tones and styles within the same color palet. This dress couldn't of been more perfect! Comfortable, flattering, simply stunning. The only regret I have is ordering 'Long'. I'm 5'6'' and it was maybe just an inch or two too long (with a two inch heel) Other than my own mistake, I will absolutely recommend this dress & company!

I ordered this dress in a 0L and 2R (because the 2L wasn't available). I actually ended up wearing both sizes during the night of the wedding, the 0L at the beginning of the night when I was in my heels, and then the 2R when I switched to flats and wanted more breathing room. I adored this dress from start to finish, and definitely recommend it for tall girls.

The size 4 fit great through the bodice, but was too long for me. I am 5'4 and 125 lbs. I ended up tucking it under the bodice about an inch to shorten it. I was concerned that the top would look too close to white for a wedding, but the bride approved it, and it really was just lavender enough. Great dress! I hope I can always find an RTR dress for my bridesmaid duties.

There were reviews saying the dress was a bit longer than expected. Though I am 5'6" I ordered 0R and it was perfect. I wore two inch pumps (wearing in the picture) and the dress was to the floor but not dragging. I am 32D and was surprised that the dress stayed up. This was the only time I wore a strapless and wasn't pulling it up and adjusting it the whole time.

The dress was great! My only gripe about it was it was a wee bit big. I didn't think that the 2p would fit, but I wished I had gotten it in that size instead. I managed to keep it up but did tug at it a little bit throughout the night. The wire in the bodice part did poke through a bit on one side but i folded it in and it was fine. After reading others reviews I am glad that I went with the petite. I am 5'4 and was able to wear flat sandals with the dress which was a dream!! The color also looked much more lilac in person, it was beautiful.

So I had to order this in a 0L because the 0R was reserved, my stylist thought with heels it should be fine and for the most part it was. I'm 5'5" - 103lbs and wore 4 inch heels. The dress was still long, but the way the material falls it actually looks fine and you would never know it's too long. I picked it up when I walked and danced only so it didn't get stepped on since it's just a rental. The bust was just a tinyyy bit too big, I had to readjust a few times, but nothing that was a real inconvenience. Honestly the hanger straps kinda looked like normal straps so if you're worried about it falling down you could probably just wear them! The slight ombre color on this was super pretty in person and very subtle. The way the fabric is draped on the bust is also so gorgeous and keeps the dress from feeling too plain. I definitely would be careful wearing it to a wedding as it can look like a bridesmaid dress, so as long as purple isn't one of the wedding colors you should be fine :) Overall I really loved this dress and didn't want to take it off at the end of the night. It was flowy and magical and makes you feel so beautiful and special. Would absolutely rent again.

I definitely didn't look like the model, being about a foot shorter and 3-4 cup sizes larger. Larger breasts really shorten the torso of the gown and so I didn't get the elegant, slender, effortless effect I was going for. I felt beautiful in the dress but I also felt uncomfortable because the waist has no give and I knew I was stuffed into the dress.

I ordered the 2 & 4, and went with the 2 bc the bodice was snug enough I didn't need a bra, plus it made me look smaller all around. One thing to note - if you are tall (I am 5'9''), the dress is not super long - the 4 was an inch or so longer but the 2 just skimmed the floor when I was barefooted, so in 3 inch heels, you could definitely see my shoes. That didn't bother me, but for taller thinner people who want it to be floor length, make sure you plan on flats. Overall, it was gorgeous, and I really loved it.

I wore this dress to my fiancés US Navy Dining Out. I knew I usually would wear 2R but it was taken for that night so I ordered a 2P and a 4R. I was hoping the 2P would be long enough since I read in the reviews the dress is a little long. Unfortunately, it wasn't. The 4R was a little big on me but it wasn't something that a little fashion tape couldn't help! The dress was beautiful and I felt great in it. I received many compliments. The corset had a lot of stability and I know if I had the smaller size I would have had no problem with it staying up without the fashion tape. Regardless if I had the right size or not I give this dress five stars because I loved it so much! It was my first RTR and I was pleasantly surprised! I was so sad to put it in the mailbox the next morning.
