beautiful dress! Fit like a glove! Very flattering, didn't even have to wear spanx! Easy to wear and very comfortable. Great dress for any occasion! Office party, formal event or even just going out. This was actually a back up dress after I didn't like and returned my first pick! This dress turned out to be even better than the first dress! RTR staff were so nice and so helpful!! Ordered the dress for me the night before the event and had it on my front door step the next day at 10 am!! RTR made my first experience a great one!

I LOVED this dress. I wore it for a cocktail event and it was perfect. The dress was true to size and very forgiving. The fabric had a lot of stretch and hugged my curves in all the right places. I didn't even need to wear spanx and it still laid perfectly. The gold flower details also hit you in the right spots to make your waist look narrower and give you that perfect hourglass shape. The only thing that could have been a little better is that the gold details are much less vibrant than they look in the photo. I'd say it's more of an old/antique gold rather than a metallic. But overall AMAZING dress so much so some of the people I was with are going to rent the same dress for another event!

The stretchy fabric is pretty forgiving and it's very easy to move around in. Though since it was a bit snug on the bottom half I occasionally shimmied it down since it crept up a bit.

This was a new dress with no prior reviews, so I gambled by renting it for my holiday formal. I was so, so happy when it came in just the right length, and the beautiful gold detailing was cut in just the right way to flatter an hourglass figure. The fabric was high-quality but still had a little give, so it skimmed my curves, gave support where needed, and I could still dance! I will say that this dress was slightly wide-cut at the hips (which worked for me) but those with a straighter figure might want to order a smaller size. The neckline was flattering but not overwhelmly low (I wore a pushup) and I loved the thick strap that showed off my arms but didn't cut into my shoulders. Perfect for the holidays or a night out!

I ordered size 4 with a size 6 as my backup. The dresses arrived one day earlier than expected and were packaged wonderfully. However, when I opened the package, I saw that though they were the same dress, they looked different! The 4 looked as expected, but the 6 was so worn that the gold detailing looked black. Thankfully, the 4 fit very well! In photos, the gold does not show up as vibrantly as it did on the website, but you can still see it somewhat. I'm sure if I had to wear the 6, this would look like a standard little black dress.. Still, I would recommend ordering this. Classy and comfortable throughout the night.

Pretty dress & super comfortable. The gold part sort of looks like a doily sewn on to a black dress and is sort of faded, but otherwise the dress looks great. It fit well & was prefect for the occasion.

The fit is good with a wide rib cage still narrows the waist. Some of the appliqués are not perfect but still cute. Regular black bra and comfy coverage (not too revealing.) nice length as well. Only reason it's not a 5 is due to the condition of this specific one. The bigger one was in better shape but too large/long for me to wear.

I wore the 4 and had 6 as a backup, I could tell the 6 was worn more because the gold detailing was more faded. Glad I could squeeze into the 4!

I really liked this dress. It was actually a back up dress when the one I wanted was not able to be shipped due to the previous renter sending it back damaged. I liked the gold detail it is very flattering. Love the neckline. I have a very short torso and I would say the dress was just slightly longer on me than I wanted. Overall great rental!

I ordered the 2 and the 0 as my back up. I ended up going with the 0 because the dress has some give and stretch to it and the 2 was just a little big. I have a small waist so it was baggy around my waist, but fit snug around my hips and butt. It wasn't my favorite dress, but it did the trick! I also noticed that the 0 had been worn more than the 2. The gold filigree was fading around the hip area. I noticed it but I'm sure not many people did. RTR should not send out dresses that are not in perfect condition.

Loved that the design gave me the illusion of a waist! The dress is very form-fitting, but the fabric is stretchy enough to be comfortable while dancing. I did have to tug the skirt down every time I stood up, but that wasn't a big deal. The lace detail around the arm holes got a little itchy by the end of the night, but I've experienced worse (sequins, I'm looking at you). I could not have picked a better dress for the wedding I attended, and I got plenty of compliments on the dress.

The dress complemented all the right areas. I fell in love with how it made my waist look. The length was just above the knee (on my short stature) which made it look appropriate for the occasion. The dress was extremely comfortable, and the gold zipper on the back was the perfect little detail.

This dress was stunning and perfect for a fall wedding! Would have loved the 6 but went with the 4 when it could be shipped. The dress has a lot of stretch so the 4 worked. Received compliments all night! Wish I could keep it! Love it!

I rented this for a fall wedding, approximately 4 months post-partum. The illusion created by the gold lace panels was very figure flattering (granted, good shapewear underneath helped). The fabric offers a nice bit of stretch, handy when I had to pump in my car during cocktail hour! Got plenty of compliments that helped me feel better about my "mom" bod!

There was nothing particularly special about this dress. The fit and material was thick and forgiving for it being so form fitting. I'm glad I got the smaller size because I'm in-between sizes right now. The symmetrical pattern from different angles almost made my waistline appear wider, which defeats the purpose. Other than that, the dress was very comfortable to wear and dance in all night. I loved that you can wear a normal bra with it.

Wore this dress to a Senior Semi-formal dance. Worked great! The gold lace is rather subtle, more like a dark, burnished gold. I'm usually a size 10, but wore the size 8 backup dress (with a push-up bra) since the 10 was rather loose. It was a very classy length, not too short but not too long. Easy to dance in, and was very comfortable!

Ran a little big. I should have gone for a size 0. But the dress was awesome. It was stretchy and the fabric was a bit thicker. I had some problems with my bra showing in the front but that was because it was a bit big.

The dress fit well- the top was a little long on me so the shoulders weren't snug. This was a surprise since I'm a 32DD wearing a size 4 I figured it would be fitted throughout. I'm 5'2" and this fell just above my knees which was great since it was for a wedding. The gold design is a lace applique and was super flattering. There is a seam at the waist but it didn't add much bulk to the look. Such an easy dress to wear, I almost wore it to work the next day because I was so in love!

Runs true to size/ tiny bit large. It's a LBD with gorgeous detail! Very comfortable and sexy- an awesome combination!

I had this as a backup cocktail dress that I thought was the boring safe choice but when it arrived the neckline really popped and it looked great! The gold sides seemed a little more subtle with less gold threads to make it stand out than the picture but it was still very pretty. I wore it to a pre-event to my party to not let it go to waste and found it rode up on my hips when I walked so I was constantly tugging it down. I have big hips for a 5 '11 frame so I don't think others would experience the same issue. Ended up not holding a candle to my other dress though which I wore to my event.

This dress was very comfortable to wear. I liked that it was simple with a little extra; showed off curves, but not too much. It doesn't have the wow factor but looked nice. The fabric is a bit stretchy and easy to dance in. The lace overlay is a nice extra touch however it was fading and wasn't as vibrant as I hoped. But can wear whatever undergarments you'd like with this dress.

I wore this to my company's holiday party and I think it was a big hit! It was modest enough to wear around coworkers, but also had interesting detailing and was a little bit sexy. The gold details didn't stand out as much as I expected - they were a little darker/ harder to see. The dress material was thicker and stretchier than expected, which I think made it more flattering. It ran a little small for me - my normal size was too tight around my hips/ thighs, so I sized up.

The gold is a floral pattern and a bit scratchy overall lovely.

I was late to the game when renting the dress so I didn't get a back up size because the 0 was not available. The 2 fit fine and with the stretching material it didn't look ill fitting. That being said if I rented it again I would get the 0. The top was a little big and the zipper didn't lay flat.

The dress was on the larger side, it is beautiful though. The one huge drawback for me was the seam that ran right across my belly which made it lay awkward--this could be because I'm very short though, if it say higher may have worked better. I was not impressed by this dress and chose a backup.

This dress has great detailing on it but the cut was just awkward for my shape. My backup size was unavailable because it had been returned damaged by a previous renter so only the 8 was available. The dress was a bit baggy on my hips and a little too right under the bra line- not comfortable or attractive. Would be a pretty dress on someone less top heavy than I am.

I wore this for the rehearsal dinner for my friend's wedding. It was incredibly flattering and I got a ton of compliments on the dress. It's black, and the material is very forgiving, so you can definitely move around easily and still eat dinner without worrying. The gold detail hits all the right places, giving you a nice shape, while hiding potential problem areas. I was very happy with this rental.

Dress was perfect!

The dress fit fine, I have a bit of a short torso so there was a little bunching. It rode up a little, but not enough to need constant readjusting. I would wear a shelf bra, I wore a full bra and you could see it a tiny bit along the top.

I felt that the dress fit true-to-size and was easy to move around in. I am 5'3" and the length was good on me for the event I was at - a formal work function. The biggest pro was how comfortable the dress was and how flattering it looked due to the gold embellishments on the sides.
