I wore this dress to my formal dental school graduation party, while I was 5 months pregnant. It was so pretty and I got compliments all night! The color was very soft and the butterfly detail was so delicate, it just felt very special. The dress does run large, I still wore a 2R even though I am pregnant, the 4R was just too big. I am very petite, so I did have to wear high wedges to keep the dress from dragging on the ground. I also rented the belt from RTR, it added a lot of sparkle and dressed up the baby bump. I loved, loved this dress and would definitely rent it again.

The fit was wonderful!! It was super flattering and comfortable. I felt so beautiful and lots of people had wonderful things to say! What a perfect dress for my sorority spring formal. First experience with RTR was a total success!

I rented the 0 and the 2 and there really wasn't much of a difference between the two sizes. I ended up going with the 2 for the extra length and because it was just slightly less snug under the arms. It definitely stood out and I so wish I didn't have to send it back. Beautiful!!

Wore this dress for an early fall wedding and loved it! I ended up going with the 4 because it was didn't flare out so much. I preferred a long flowy and comfortable feel, but this dress can also be worn with a belt to add definition. The color is pink/nude with gold-ish butterflies - the pattern is SO pretty. Although the bottom is semi-sheer, it wasn't cold or revealing. The slit underneath makes this still sexy but comfortable for dancing all night. Would recommend for women with a bigger bust.

I really loved this dress! It was my backup and I ended up using it I loved it so much. It is dressier IRL than in the picture on the website to me. It was a great summer wedding dress, and super comfortable. It's also hard to tell in pictures but there is a form fitting sheath underneath that adds dimension and extra dressy-ness to the dress. I ordered a 12L but could have worn a 10 and also for sure didn't need a long. I'm 5'8 and it was super long, so I had to wear heels instead of the flats I had intended but that's no biggie. I got compliments all night from wedding guests! Loved having a beautiful dress I also was very comfortable and confident in :)

The color and shine of this dress are so much more vibrant in person. It's comfortable and easy to wear. I should have rented the 2R, not 2L, but it was doable with VERY high heels. I realized that I'm not a huge fan of this shape but if you love drape-y, Romanesque style - this is all you.

The reviews said true to size so I ordered size 6R and size 8R, but for me it ran large so I had to order the 4R. Thank goodness for the excellent customer service Rent the Runaway provides. I had the 4R in time for the wedding. It fit perfectly. It was a bit itchy around the neck and arm area. Once I had it on and was busy finishing up my look I didn't feel the itchy any longer. I was so comfortable in this dress.

Dress fit true to size and length was perfect. Very comfortable and easy to wear.

I must begin by saying I am 6 months pregnant with a large, round, protruding belly! LOL. I was having a hard time finding a maternity dress that wasn't matronly and boring. I decided to give RTR a try. I looked for Maxi dresses and this grecian style dress came up. It is stunning. It looks pretty in the picture but it is so shimmery and light and unique it's beautiful. I received a compliment every 5 minutes at the wedding I felt like a movie star. I ordered the size 12r to accommodate for my belly and it was perfect. The dress has an underdress that hits you slightly above the knee and then the rest of the way down it is slightly see through. It was a bit itchy at the neck when I initially put it on, but i never felt it the remainder of the time, and believe me I am very sensitive to that. I wore a 4 inch heel and it was right at my feet..obviously if I weren't pregnant I might have tried a bit higher. I really can't say enough about the dress and how easy and comfortable it was to wear. I loved it.

Wore this on my bachelorette weekend during a day trip to Oregon wine country and loved the dress (and so did my girls)!! It was the perfect length with 3" heels, and perfect for day wear since it shimmered in the sunlight. I wish I owned it!! I had to belt it to make it a bit more flattering...

I can't tell you how many compliments I received in this dress, and it was perfect for a summer wedding. The fabric did get a little itchy, especially by the neck, but the dress is extremely comfortable and forgiving. The fabric was thin and flowed in the wind... absolutely gorgeous. Wish I didn't have to return it!

I rented this for a formal evening at my husband's college reunion. I was 25 weeks pregnant, so looking for something bump friendly. This dress is not my normal style, but worked out well with my current body :) The pattern and color were pretty and great for a spring event.

I wore this dress to a wedding at 5 months pregnant. It was comfortable and flowed beautifully! I felt very feminine in it. I was a little concerned the color would be too light for a wedding but it looks more pink in person than it does in the photos. I received lots of compliments from both men and women. I'm 5'6 and I went with the long so I could wear heels with it.

This dress was a substitute dress when the one I rented was not available due to damage. Although a pretty dress it just did not work on my 5'4" frame. A very light blush pink color with gold butterflies was more than I could carry off. The loose, flowy fit of the dress looks much better on the model. I tried a belt which others showed but that did not help. It was very long and I would have needed platform or 5" heels to not have it drag. This one was just not for me and I wouldn't think anyone 5"4" or under.

Not the dress to extenuate your figure. It is light and fun in a very youthful playful way but still stands out. I imagine it is forgiving you have something to hide. The Zero was big on me, had a little string belt around waist but because of the extra fabric it actually made it look as though I had a beer belly. I still loved it.

I rented this 29 weeks pregnant for my baby shower. Normally I would wear a 4 or 6 and the size 8 fit perfectly. The lining has a bit of stretch and the length is appropriate even with a growing belly.

I needed a dress to wear to my sister's wedding when I was 9 months pregnant. This one was listed as "bump friendly" so I took a gamble, and it paid off! It fit perfectly without looking like a mumu. The sheath underneath is pale pink/nude and very stretchy, length was mid-thigh, then the sheer-ish overlay was pale pink & gold and fell beautifully. I didn't look like a whale, and got compliments all night! I was wearing flats and the length was perfect, but if I had worn heels I would have needed the longer length.

My original size request was either returned late or damaged by the previous person (ladies, be considerate of the next person after you - these are rentals!) Luckily, I was able to fit into my backup size although it was a wee-bit tight...I made it work. This dress was easily wearable at 9 months pregnant (typically, I wear a size 4 and I was +25 lbs. and still able to fit into this dress as a size 4) and it still looked elegant. I felt pretty and got lots of compliments. I was able to dance and sit and never felt uncomfortable. GREAT DRESS!

I wore this for my baby shower and it was perfect. I added a belt to emphasize the belly. I ordered a 4R and 8R (they didn't have a 6R available) and ended up wearing the 8R. The 4 was just a little too snug with my 9 month preggo belly. The butterflies didn't itch or bother me like most reviews said. Wish it was a little longer so I could have worn something with a heel or wedge, but I had the perfect sandals that matched. Everyone LOVED the dress and was so surprised when I said I rented it!

I wasn't sure about this dress because of the butterfly pattern, but it is SO classy and just a beautiful dress. I wore this to a summer wedding while I was 35 weeks pregnant and actually went 2 sizes up (normally a 4, but wore an 8) and got the petite which was perfect because I am short (5'3"). I didn't have problems with the dress being scratchy, which I had read in other reviews. I brought a belt with me, but didn't end up using it because I personally like it loose, but it could really go either way. Highly recommend this one!

I ADORED THIS DRESS. I have been waiting for an excuse to rent this dress and my best friends summer wedding was the perfect occasion. I loved it from the moment I set eyes on it. I worried it would be too subtle in color but the butterflies really pop with their gold shimmer. I thought I would need to wear it with a belt since I don't typically wear loose dresses but it made the dress WAY too short (but that's mostly due to the fact that I'm 6'1"). It still only came to about my ankle without the belt on but it looked so good that I went with it. People kept stopping me to tell me they loved the dress.

Wore at 33 weeks pregnant and it was great! Wasn't too baggy for a maxi. The colors were beautiful. Loved the gold with glittery accents. I got the petite length and being 5'5'' I was able to wear flat sandals or heels. I would get again!

RTR sent me this as a back up since the backup for the dress I ordered was no longer available. Turned out it was a very nice flowy dress, perfect for a day at the winery. I thought it would look shapeless but with a belt it worked very well. It's very pretty and sparkles in the sun. I thought I would not like it but I enjoyed wearing it!

The fit was true to size. The length was longer than expected but it was for my daughter and she is a little pint sized and wore it with a pair of rose colored vans. Everything came together nicely.

This was the perfect dress for my summertime baby shower! The free-form cut is perfect for a bump. I added a belt so I didn't look so huge but it would be really cute without a belt too. I will note that the layer underneath is slightly more fitted than the outside so if you are pregnant I would suggest sizing up a tad if you're in the later part of pregnancy. The style was just adorable. Since I was pregnant with a girl the butterfly print was a nice whimsical detail for the occasion. I added some gold accessories for a little extra glow!

Rent the Runway continues to be amazing! I am 20 weeks pregnant and the other dress I ordered just wasn't working. I called RTR and they sent this replacement within 24 hours. It worked perfectly for the event and I added a belt to show off my bump. I got so many compliments! I did end up wearing one size up.

even better than the photos.... this was actually a backup dress that I had ordered for a bridesmaid gown, but ended up loving it! It's extremely flattering the length is pretty right on, I had 2-3inch heels and the 6R just touched the ground. I seriously love this dress...

Glad this ran a little big. I wanted to order the 6 but I waited to long and it wasn't available. The 4L actually fit great, I was 32 weeks pregnant at the time and it fit comfortable around by belly. The length was just right with 3 inch heels. The only downside to this dress is you can't really wear a bra.

As other reviewers stated, this is a great bump-friendly dress. I wore this dress at 20 weeks (+12 lbs), and sized up one size from my normal size to the 4R. It fit perfectly and definitely showed off the bump after adding a belt. It made me look more pregnant than I was at the time, but I got a lot of compliments throughout the evening. It was quite long, but I had 3 1/2" heels that kept the hem floating just above the floor. I didn't have an issue with the itchiness of the butterflies, but I can see how that could be a problem. I would wear this again post-pregnancy as it's a beautiful dress!

I rented this hoping the 6 would fit (I'm regularly a 4-6), and by other reviews I knew it'd be flowy around the stomach area for my growing belly - and it was perfect!! I received SO MANY compliments throughout the evening! It was the perfect weight and I wasn't bothered by the butterflies (some say they were itchy). I did wear a slip under the built-in slip only because my belly made it rise up as I walked. Overall, I'm SO thankful for this dress! Wish I could have kept it :) For expecting moms: I'm 5 months pregnant & a 34DDD in this pic.

I loved this dress and couldn't wait to rent it when it became available. I normally am a size 6, but rented the 4 and 6 and the 4 was way too tight for a flowy dress. The 6 fit much better, but I'm 5'9 and with flats and a belt it was about 2 inches too short without the button in the back buttoned. I like a dress to touch the ground and hide my feet. Without the belt it was barely longer. I left the button in the back of the neck undone because it was more like 3+ inches too short with it buttoned. I so wish this came in long.
