Perfect for a black tie optional wedding! I got so many compliments on the dress.
It does run a little small in the waist. I am usually a 4 or a 6 so I got both and happy I did! I had to go with the 6 in this one. The elastic band was too tight on the 4. Also, I can see it being too short on someone taller. Overall I loved the dress though and it was perfect for the night- so much fun to wear!

Loved how it looked on! I wore control top tights with it and it was very slimming.
Fit completely true to size and though it was a little short, the tights helped give some extra coverage

Second Choice worked out
This was not my first choice, but ended up working out for a 1920's themed New Years party. The accessories are what made it! The dress was very comfortable and I didn't have to fiddle with it all night. Very true to size.

Great dress. Lots of compliments!
I returned another dress in store (NYC Flatiron) for this so it was a little big. I usually wear a 0. It's very pretty and flattering on. I got lots of compliments throughout the night. I think it would be a little short on taller girls, FYI.

Loved it! Received many compliments. Simple yet perfect for cocktail attire
Maybe a little bit short but ok with dark tights.

Felt like a million bucks!
This was my second run the runway dress! Loved it!! I have a pro account so this was my birthday rental - luckily my birthday falls right around Christmas so I managed to wear it for a few Christmas parties too! Loved loved loved the fit and the style. It's a little short and looked perfect with some lace topped thigh highs. (I bent over once and apparently my mother in law got a slight glimpse of the lace - said it looked really pretty)

Super fun dress!
Wore this for a bachelorette party/night out in Philly. It was a super fun dress, I loved the style of the skirt. I am curvy so I went with the 2, which was more flattering to the hips/abdomen area. Overall it was a good dress.

Weird fit, didn't wear.
There was just something TOO retro about this dress that didn't make it flattering on me. It would have been perfect for an 80s party, though. The skirt bit poofs out LOW, so if you have a booty like me, it just looks weird. I tried the 8 on to see if it was just the fit of the 6, but the 8 was way too big in the hip area. I ended up not wearing my RTR dress and going with an old cocktail dress I had in my closet.

Great evening dress for those a bit more conservative
The dress was for my 16 year old daughter. She is petite and an athlete. She wore it to a formal dinner at a youth conference. The dress was just what she wanted; something appropriate but not too flashy. The only issue she had was that it was too long in the torso for her; she is 4'11 and 140 lbs. Other than that, great first experience with Rent the Runway!
