I rented three dresses for my husband's ceremonies for his airforce graduation (three different events over three days). I thought this would be my least favorite but it was actually the one I loved the most! I hated to send it back and even looked into buying it online! The fabric is thick so it is great for winter. The dress was super comfortable and I felt completely at home in it. I received SO many compliments and felt great!

The fit was great! The dress is very well made & looks impeccable on!

The material was surprisingly thick so I would recommend for early Spring/late Autumn/Winter events - temps above 70 and you might start to sweat. But the dress was extremely comfortable and it had a lot of give. I am usually between a size 6-8 depending on store/designer and the 6 fit perfectly. I absolutely loved this dress - it was so unique amongst what everyone else was wearing.

Instead of going for sparkly, I thought I would go for long sleeve chic with this dress - and loved it. I had so many compliments throughout the night and it was so.comfortable. It ran true to size, but I could see how the upper arms might be uncomfortable for dancing and such if you have a bigger bust (I don't so it worked very well). Loved this.

I used this dress for Easter. I usually wear between 6-8 and for European designers 8-10. This dress definitely runs large as other reviewers mentioned, so a 6 was just right for me. The sleeves are definitely long but I just tucked the ends under and it stayed in due to the thicker fabric. This year's Easter was colder than usual so the thick fabric was just right. I wore the dress with black tights and black platform shoes. Rent The Runway is such a great company. This was a dress that they comped for me because the last rental before this did not work out (one of the sizes was unavailable so they sent me another style which did not suit me, unfortunately). I am now back looking for my next dress for the next event I am going to!

Obsessed! Recently I am more of an 8/10, but I wanted this so badly that I ordered it in a size 6, as it was all that was available. I had read reviews from customers stating that it ran a bit big, so I was hopeful, and the size 6 ended up being a perfect fit! This dress is neoprene, so it is very comfortable, and I paired it with a necklace, belt, black booties, and tights. Definitely go one size down in this one from your most typical size. Wish I could have kept this dress!

I'm glad I read the reviews because the dress does run large. I usually wear a 2 but it was really big on me. I had a little extra room in the 0 but it wasn't noticeable and was very comfortable. The material is thick and kept me warm on a breezy spring day. I would definitely rent this dress again it was perfect for a bridal shower.

I wore this to a business trade show. The long sleeves were great for the cold weather and the pattern is fun yet professional, overall a great dress.

At first I wasn't into to this dress but once I did my hair and makeup and put my shoes on it grew on me. I would say the size 2 was slightly big. I am a 34DD and I needed a padded bra to fill it out all the way. I got a 4 as my back up when I should have gotten a 0. I ended up seeing the 2 and it was really comfy and warm. I would recommended if your looking for a warmer conservative dress!

I typically wear a size 4 in dresses, but a 4 would have been way too big and this 2 fit just right with even a little bit of comfy room in it! I loved the scuba fabric which kept me nice and warm on the cold new years evening! And I had no idea until I tried it on that it had pockets!! Such a great detail.

Who wouldn't love this dress? It is perfect for cold weather (in my case, New Year's Eve), and so current! I love the fit and style. This is a winner.

I rented this for a daytime winter wedding, and I'm so glad I did. The fabric was a thick, scuba material and kept me warm, and the print stood out in a sea of solids. I probably could have worn a size smaller, but it worked just fine -- it was slightly roomy but not oversized. It was perfect, actually.

I wore this to a holiday work party. I typically wear a size 12/14, and this was a bit loose, especially in the arms. I cinched the dress with a rose gold belt which really helped. I'm tall, and this dress hit just below my knees; I can't imagine this dress being terribly flattering on a petite person. This dress is very warm and made with a thick material, I had to roll up the sleeves to keep my body cool, however it served me well as I waited for a taxi in the Minnesota winter! I also rented Ciner Emerald Pear Stud Earrings and Lulu Frost Silver Drift Cuff, both of which I highly recommend. I will absolutely rent this dress again.

I loved wearing this dress. The fabric was great for a cooler evening and the style was so memorable but not too showy. I loved the pockets, long sleeves and collar. I would recommend sizing down for your back up. There is a lot of room in the waist and hips. The smallest areas of the dress are the arms, neck and chest. This is something I would rent again.

the arms were a little snug, but the dress was a a great fit. I wore it all night in San Francisco and didn't need a jacket because it is so warm.

I rented this for my work holiday party. The party was partially outdoors so I wanted something warm. This dress was AMAZING. Felt so luxurious and wintery to me. Ran a tad big, but still fit fine. Loved that it also has pockets. Got so many compliments on this dress and really wish I could keep it.

The sleeves were a touch too long, but cuffed easily up inside and stayed put. The neoprene was great for the colder weather outside and warmer weather inside. I loved loved this dress and would wear it over and over again!!

I rented this dress for my office holiday party and I loved it! I got SO many compliments, it was comfortable (pockets!!) and different but really pretty. I highly recommend. I felt it ran a little large so I would suggest ordering a size down for your alternate size. I ended up adding a belt to make the top appear a little more fitted. The material is super stretchy, but not as hot as I was thinking it might be. Definitely one of my favorite rentals - would totally rent again if I could. And as always, great customer service came along with the dress!

I absolutely loved this dress! I wore it for Thanksgiving. However it would also be the perfect day to night dress. It was so comfortable, and really warm. I know it was sold in stores, wearing it made me want to go out and buy it myself.

This is my first rental of close to 20 that I do not want to send back! The most comfortable and true to size rental I've received. It felt so nice to have my normal dress size zip right up as I often have to wear the larger size in my rental. The fabric is soft and was perfect for a brunch wedding in Minnesota, it was cold and I stayed warm. This dress is ideal for an event where you want to look stylish but not over the top. I felt confident and appropriate, worn with nude hose and black pumps. Already hunting online to see if I could purchase this dress, but it seems to be just as popular with everyone else and is sold out! I would absolutely consider renting this exact dress again.

I rented this for my birthday. I needed something I could wear to work and then out to dinner and it was the perfect choice. It fits very well, though it runs, for short people, perhaps a big large, as the sleeves were a tad long on me. All day long I received compliments about how pretty and unique it is. If you're not familiar with neoprene, though, just a head's up because it's quite an interesting fabric and if you run hot this dress might be too much for you as the material is so thick. I say this a lot, but I really, really wish I could have kept this dress!

This was my first RTR experience. I was attending an Indian wedding in New England. It was the first "winterish" day too. Rain, wind and cold. I ordered the 6 and the 8. The 6 fit perfectly and I have a large bust but smaller hips and it worked. Nothing was too tight and the length was great. I wore black tights and black Carlos Santana shoes with huge flowers on them. My jewelry I kept simple, just a silver blinded bracelet - the dress speaks for itself. The wedding ran from 2-midnight and I was comfortable and looked fabulous the whole time. I ran through the mall before the wedding and was stopped by people asking about the dress and many compliments at the wedding. I rented this dress for a coworker's wedding and I'm still getting compliments one week later. I typically wear a size 6 but the dress runs really large so a 4 was fine. Definitely size down for your backup if you're in between sizes. I was a little put off by the thickness of the fabric at first and thought I would be too warm, but it turned out to be perfect. I wore this for the 1pm ceremony all through the evening reception-- a total of 10 hours in a dress without dying to take it off and put on sweats, not bad! My only regret is I didn't get great photos of me wearing it.

I wore this for Christmas Eve…attended two parties and received a handful of compliments. I mean, it's a very pretty fabric-vibrant and colorful. My issues: I needed a belt for the waist, it was rather long, so I opted to go stocking-less, the upper sleeves were extremely tight.

The dress runs big. The sleeves were comically long on me. The size 4 was definitely too loose but it worked out well with a belt. The fabric is also quite thick which was great for a December wedding but should be considered if wearing in a warmer month or event. The belt was from H&M if anyone is looking for it when yours arrives and is too large :) I would rent this dress again but in a smaller size.

The size four was a bit large on me. The arms were a bit long and the waist was roomy. I should've ordered a two. But, the colors are beautiful and perfect for a Fall photo shoot.

From the moment I discovered RTR, I had been obsessed with this dress. But, where to wear it? Would it live up to my hype? Yes. This dress is amazing. I literally gave it a quick kiss before sending it back. I felt absolutely beautiful, and it fit like a dream. I am fairly tall (5'9), so I am usually nervous about length and I had no issues here. I will warn that it is warm. We were outside in the afternoon on a fall day, and I definitely did not need a jacket, and even, was starting to get hot toward the end of the photo session. I plan to rent again, it's the best!

The dress does run a little big as many reviews note. I generally wear an 8 and the 6 fit well with even a tiny bit of room. Very comfortable dress with deep pocket! I could carry my phone and you could't see it. I was worried I would get hot, but the only time I was warm was after a lot of dancing. Perfect for a fall wedding. Would love to own it!!

It's unique enough that it's fun, but it's also conservative enough to be work for something work-related. It runs large, so definitely size down. I normally wear a 6, and the 4 fit perfectly. Basically, every person that came up to me at the wedding (strangers, family and friends alike) were complimenting the dress. Some were so obsessed, they asked if they could check the tag so they could know the designer. Definitely the perfect pick for a wedding in the English countryside! So comfortable, so stylish, and best of all... POCKETS. :)

I tried this dress on as soon as it arrived as I was worried from reading other reviews that it might be too large. Well, I am in love with this dress! It fit perfectly, probably because I have a larger bust (36F). I agree with other reviewers that the sleeves are long, but thankfully (and my favorite part), it has pockets. It fit beautifully around my waist, so there was room to move around and sit comfortably. The shape is very flattering, and I personally love the fabric; it gives it an expensive look and feel. I wish I could buy this dress, I absolutely LOVE it!

I loved this dress probably too much; I was really sad to send it back. I typically wear an 8 in dresses but this one fit absolutely perfect. It's insanely comfortable and perfect for cooler weather. I'm a huge fan and I'm sad I can't keep it forever. Definitely going to try to rent again. #highlyrecommend

This dress was absolutely perfect for a black-tie optional wedding on a Saturday night. Even though it was cocktail length, the sleeves and high neck made it more formal. The fabric has stretch and the dress runs large - I wear a size 12/14 depending on the bust situation, and this 10 fit perfectly, it wasn't even skin tight. I suggest sizing one or two down, especially if you have a petite bust/waist. I am larger in those areas and the 10 was still the right size. Super comfortable but still made an impact - I got compliments all night!

This is one of the most comfortable dresses I've ever worn. The neoprene material keeps the dress from wrinkling. The colors and pattern are so vibrant in person and the material shows very few flaws. You would think it would be hot, but I was fine. Unless it's sweltering heat, I would say go for it. I'm 5'8" and it was the perfect length for dancing with heels without worrying about inching up. Conservative with a tiny bit of edge. Would rent again in a heartbeat. Warning- This dress has the tendency to make you look pregnant in certain camera angles, but you would expect that from any dress of this shape.

I love this dress! The fabric was super comfortable and warm. The print was gorgeous--so many compliments all night. The overall length was a little long on me, but I'm extra short. It was really flattering and fit over my bust no problem. Plus--it has pockets! If I could buy this dress, I would.
