Wore this gown the Thursday before Halloween. This dress is very unique and fun. Modern Morticia couldn't be a better name. It runs pretty true to size, but be sure someone is with you when you put it on because it's a bit difficult to zip up! I ordered the 0L and am 5'7" and wore a 2 inch heeled boot.

This dress is everything. I wore it to a Halloween Gala and it could not have been better. Comfortable, flattering and sexy. I’m typically a 2 and this was perfect. I’m only 5”2 and this was not too long once I put my heels on. Highly recommend this stunner.

It is a bit formfitting while still flattering. Length is perfect. The lace is smooth & not scratchy. It's a lovely dress.

Would totally rent this dress again. I wore it to a cocktail party during a wedding weekend. This dress was sort of (dare I say) sexy without being too showy/flashy. I'm only 5'5" so I was worried that the 8L (only size available) would be too long, but with some 3.5 inch platforms I was fine. I even had some girls yell at me from across the street while out that night "Hey girrrrl! I love your dress!!!" Of course I shouted back "Rent The Runway!!" What a moment, hahaha. Now I just need to figure out where I can buy this one...

Being only 5'2", the length was a bit of an issue for me since I needed to wear flats - but since I rented it for a performance in a concert where I was standing in one place, the mobility was low on my priority list. Hard to see in the pic, but it was really fun how at first it came across as a simple long black lace dress, but then has the fun high-low leg twist. The guys in the band thought it was very sexy and fun! Got SO many compliments - would be very easy to dress up or dress down for any event. I will be renting again!

I loved this dress! Snug in all the right places. Was a little tight to move the arms because the lace has no stretch but fine for one night. The see thru lace adds some modesty on the legs because the dress portion is short! I wore a tall with 4 inch heels and the length was perfect.

I LOVED this dress. It fit perfectly and the lace made it super flirty - my BF couldn't keep his hands off me! The place we went wasn't super fancy but I didn't feel overdressed at all, it's the perfect mix of trendy and sophisticated. It was freezing so I paired with thigh-hi boots and stayed warm all night. This dress is lovely and fit perfectly! I am very small and the 0R fit me great! I'm 5'2" and wore 6 inch heals and it was right at the floor.

Able to wear a regular bra underneath which helps make me very comfortable- this dress covers you up but is very fitted. It's a great mix of classy with that lace and high neck, but super sexy with the underneath hem being pretty short! I got a lot of compliments! The only minor things to watch out for is the R was pretty short- I am 5'3 and with my high heels it was a touch too short, but really not an issue. The short dress with the long lace hem is a red carpet look I've always wanted to try. I definitely recommend this dress it is a lot of fun to wear!

This is a beautiful dress! I wore this for a Venetian masquerade gala and got tons of compliments! I like its unique look. I'm 5'5ish and wore 100mm heels and the length was perfect!

It fits perfectly. I'm 5'3 and the 2R fit me perfectly. I wore heels 5 inches tall and the dress didn't drag. It was cool out and I was still warm and super comfortable. Will be doing this much more!

I loved this dress. I had a hard time sending it back. I am very short and was afraid this would be too long. With very tall shoes (which I am accustom to) this was not a problem. It was not uncomfortably tight, but extremely form fitting. I will definitely rent this dress again.

This dress for a work-related benefit event party...it can be dressed up with right jewels for a more formal occasion or worn to cocktail parties as well, depending on how you style it. It does run a little small, so one size up was a perfect fit, while the length fell nearly at my ankle with four-inch heels.

I wanted it long, so the 4L was perfect for me with heels. Made it a bit more dramatic feeling.

I absolutely loved this dress! I wore it for NYE. It is elegant, glamorous, and has a retro or hippie chic look to it. I dressed it down with ankle boots and a long necklace. I wish I didn't have to send it back!! Super flattering!

The dress fit perfectly. It was a little tight on my chest area, I have a 36D, but everywhere else fit really nice. I got the long and i am 5'7 & with heels it was perfect, just barely touched the floor. I was worried about my love handles sticking out, but I wore spanks and the dress itself really slims you down!

The dress was so easy to wear and received numerous compliments from both men and women. It was the perfect dress for an event where I was on the younger end of the age spectrum, so I did not want to stick out with something too flashy but at the same did not want something too stodgy. I am only 5'4" and with 4.5 inch platform heels, I was JUST tall enough to keep the dress off the floor. Wish I were a little taller so that the dress fit like on the model in the photo, but that is not the dress' fault so I did not take star off for that.

I rented this dress last minute for a black tie event in the city. I am normally a size 4 but since I decided to rent so last minute the size 4 was not available. I ended up getting a 6R which was a little big over the hips and in the arms but it wasn't too noticeable and quite frankly it was really nice to not have a super tight dress when you have to sit down for a 3 hour dinner and award show. The length of the dress was a little short for me as I was wearing 4" heels with a 1" platform so if I would rent this dress again I would go for a 4L in size. Overall I'm really happy with the dress and would recommend it for any formal affair such as a winter gala, wedding, holiday party etc.

For my birthday, I held an elegant murder mystery party at my house. Suggested attire was formal & black. The dress arrived on time, fit perfectly, and was really comfortable. I was worried it may be itchy, but it wasn't at all, it felt wonderful. I got more compliments on this dress than almost any dress I've ever worn! I'm 5'9" and wore the size 2L, paired with 3 inch heels it was still long enough.

This dress was gorgeous! RTR didn't have a 0 available so I opted for the 2. It was a little big in the waist but good for my chest and butt. The material doesn't stretch much but that made it very flattering. People complimented the dress all night long! This dress is a little long - I am 5'2 and with my 5 inch heels it was the perfect length. I highly recommend this dress for a fall/winter event!

The dress looked weird online, but amazing on my athletic/apple shaped body. I usually wear a size 8 or 6, but because of my rather large bust, I rented it in 10 and it fit perfectly.

This dress was amazing!! It was my back up choice, but I'm so so glad I ended up going with this one! It was gorgeous and different, with tons of adorable little details like little buttons on the sleeves. It was totally fine to dance in, and the sleeves weren't constricting at all. I'm 5'8" and wore flats, and the long size was about two inches too long, but still beautiful. Everybody loved it, and so did I. It was weird to wear a dress that showed off the part of my body I'm the most self conscious about (my stomach), but I'm so glad I did it anyway, because it was stunning.

The dress I am wearing in the picture is not the exact same dress the model is wearing. I tried on the dress the model is wearing and that lead me to order it. It fitted nicely in the store. However what arrived was different; but still beautiful nonetheless. I actually like the replica better. I tried it on and found that the dress rides up a bit on me. There seemed to be extra fabric in my lower back area. I had to tug it down on occasion for it to contour to my body like it should. This did not stop the compliments from coming. I was stopped and admired all night. No one at the event had on anything like it. It was unique, attention grabbing, and beautiful. I felt really good in it. It didn't make me feel like an old woman because of the lace or long sleeves. I felt age appropriate, sexy and sophisticated. I wouldn't change anything about it. I only had one issue, my bust size is 34C and my shoulders are strong. The top portion of the dress seemed a bit snug and when I initially put it on I was sure I was going to rip it. I really couldn't put my arms up comfortably to style my hair. However it wasn't so uncomfortable that I couldn't move. I did not feel restricted all night , maybe because I had no reason to put my hands up. So if you are going to dance make sure you select the right size. However, I would not have gone up a size because it fit the rest of my body fine. I would recommend this dress to others!

I wanted to go with a black dress for my friends wedding but didn't want something boring so this was a great option. It was flattering and comfortable. Only downside was that it was a little long even with heels (I'm 5'9) and the lace occasionally got stuck in my heel when walking if I didn't pick up the dress. Besides that I definitely recommend this dress with a pop of color statement necklace!

Loved this dress from the front, but the zipper bunched up really awkwardly in the lower back... might have just been a dress flaw. Would have been perfect otherwise, but couldn't wear.

Loved this dress! Fit like a glove and very comfy. Few fit notes, the black skirt underneath is a super mini (an inch or two shorter than I thought it would be) and the top around the busy fits very snug (and I am very small all around up top). So for busty women I would say size up.

This was a fabulous dress. I wore it to a party when it was 40 degrees out and with a coat, I was plenty warm! I felt pretty and got so many compliments! I would def recommend renting this dress... I felt elegant, sexy, cool, and confident!

I wore this to a black tie wedding and it was perfect. It runs true to size and the length is great with 3" heels. My only complaint is that the lace at the bottom kept snagging on the outside of my heel's strap on my ankle. Luckily I brought an extra pair of heels with me and didn't have to deal with it all night, otherwise it would have been annoying. Also it's important to note that the black part of the dress does get really short when you sit. If you're going to wear any kind of undergarment, make sure there are no legs or it will show. Otherwise, I would 100% recommend this dress to anyone and think it would flatter any body type!

LOVE this dress! Got so many compliments on it and felt good in it. It's conservative, but still showed skin, so it was a nice mix. I hate dresses, but I felt really comfortable in it. A little tight in the shoulder/arm area and bust, but other than that, good. I'm 5'7" about 150 lbs and I ordered the 12L, because I had high heels too, and it fit well all over but was too long. Should have ordered a 12R; that was my fault. Overall, FABULOUS dress!

Loved this dress so much. Fit true to size but I went with the larger one because I have broader shoulders and there's not a ton of give in the lace, but it doesn't make it uncomfortable. I considered purchasing this dress to have as a staple in my closet!
