This dress is absolutely amazing!! I couldn't have rented a better dress for our special occasion. I'm tall and I wore 3" heels and this dress still covered my shoes but not enough where it was hard to walk. I received many compliments all day/night long. My only issue was the stupid plastic zipper - luckily the day of my now husband just yanked it up and it worked. The fit was very true to size but if you're on end, order a size up. You won't go wrong with this dress!!

Fit a little snug, which was great. No bra is necessary because the under part is like a corset, but not as constricting. Ordered an 8L and 10 R and the 8 was super long without heels, and I didn't want to wear heels and then take them off to have the dress dragging the floor. Luckily, the 10 was a better fit and the perfect length. So unless you are planning on wearing heels, go with the regular length. The zipper can be tricky as it puckered out right around the rib cage (in both sizes even with clasp secured) and made it hard to zip, but once it got over that bump it was perfect! Stays up, great for dancing all night, and a beautiful dress! I definitely recommend

I ordered a 8l and a 10l, wore the 8l, it was the perfect length and fit. Snug on top and never worried about it falling down during my prom. Wore with a stick on bra as the back is semi-sheer, Highly recommend!

Wore this dress for senior pictures. I am smaller in my waist than my hips and this dress perfectly hugged by waist to give me a great looking shape. The material is so comfy. In person the flowing fabric has a hint of a flower design to it that is very elegant. Hope this review helped!

The only issue I had with this dress was the zipper, where the fabric switches it seems like it will never zip! However with help and a lot of tugging I was able to get it. Even though the zipper was difficult, it fit great at the waist and bust. Since the dress comes with padding and I'm not large breasted, I chose not to wear a bra and it was fine. The great part was I did not have to keep tugging it up all night. I loved it and It was super comfortable.

I loved this dress!!!! I felt so elegant and it's very light weight! This dress was, like the rest of the reviews say, pretty long! I did not wear heels, so I had to hold it when I walked but it fits well everywhere else. One thing I will say though is that I could have gotten away with a 6 for sure. Girls that said their bra size is a 34C or larger that got away with a 2 or a 4 must have very tiny ribcages because this fit perfectly in the morning but after I ate it was very snug, and I'm a 34B and have an athletic body type. The zipper was a pain to get all the way up for my besties. They had a hard time getting it over the place where the material changes a little bit.

This is perfect for a simple beach wedding!

I am 6 foot and its so hard to find dresses that are actually long enough and this one was pooling on the floor a little, even without heels! I also don't normally wear strapless, but I wore a strapless bra with it and was fine. The back has netting, so you could sort of see my bra, but no one was staring at my back all night so I wasn't at all concerned.

The corset under the dress makes it fit nice and tight cause 4R normally fit big but this was a perfect fit.

This is easily the most amazing dress I have ever rented!!!! It was ridiculously comfortable, I could have worn it forever. It fits like a GLOVE. No lumps or bumps, and it stayed up better than any strapless dress I've ever worn! Don't worry about looking too much like a bride, the incredible texture and pattern of the fabric distances it from a wedding dress. My only advice would be that it runs long! I'm 5'8" so I usually wear a long with some shorter heels. This dress I had to wear 5.5 inch heels and it was still dragging on the ground! Also I'm not sure this dress would work for large chested girls...I'm between a B and a C cup and there literally was not room for a bra in there haha. Which was fine, because the dress has EXCELLENT cups and boning in the bodice! Rent this dress, you will not regret it!!! :)

The fit was great, very true to size. The zipper did get a little stuck where there was a change of fabric, but I worked at it and got it up. The material is gorgeous and I love the pattern! It was a little long for me, even with 6 inch heels, but I just held it up when I walked. Overall an amazing dress - I felt like the belle of the ball!

This was my first rental from RTR and this was a last minute shipment because my other dress got ruined and couldn't be sent to me. I am 5'9 and have a larger chest and this dress really fit me like a glove. I am always skeptical about strapless dresses because I'm afraid they will slip but this dress has amazing grips and I used some double sided dress tape just to reassure myself. The previous reviewer said the zippers are hard to shut which is very true! They are super flimsy and not very durable but hey they get the job done. Another thing is this dress is quite long! I got it in just a regular and I'm very tall and it was perfect but had some extra fabric on the bottom that I tripped on a few times. I wore just some open toed flats with maybe a half inch base so it gave me a little something. This dress is so beautiful and photographs so well :) Im so impressed because the material was so soft and I was very comfortable. I would recommend this dress to anyone! You will feel like a princess.

I wore this to Military Ball and absolutely loved it! I didn't wear a bra and it fit perfect. The back is kind of see-through so you probably wouldn't want to wear a bra anyway. I wore about three or four inch heels and the dress was still a little long, so I would suggest a taller heel!

This dress is stunning! Although you can't really see it on the model, the material has this gorgeous, velvety texture to it. Because the dress is so simple otherwise, this makes it more formal and keeps it from looking like a maxi. Although I'm usually a 4, I chose to go with the 2 because it stayed up better. If you're small up top like I am, I would definitely recommend sizing down for the extra. The only complaint I had was that the dress looked a little bit worn around the neckline. But otherwise, this was another fantastic experience from RTR!

I rented this gown for a modeling assignment where I was a bride on her wedding day. Loved this dress because it was casual yet elegant at the same time! It's flattering in all the right places, and it made me look thin. Super comfortable too. I'm 5'8" and wore 3.5 inch heels with it and it grazed the floor.

At first I was concerned that the dress might look too bridal for a senior prom but the subtle pattern on the fabric made it perfect! The fabric is lightweight an the dress is extremely comfortable. I received tons of compliments and I could not have imagined a dress that I like more. However, the zippers on both dresses (2L and 4L) were very hard to zip but other than that the dresses were in great condition. The 4L was a little too long for me (i'm 5'8" and wore 4 inch heels) but it was manageable. Overall, this dress was amazing and photographed wonderfully! I loved it and would recommend it to anyone!

I wore this dress to a military ball and was extremely pleased with the way I looked in it. Its elegant and feminine, and definitely set me apart from the other white dresses at the ball. I was nervous to wear it at first because the dress was extremely long, but I was able to tuck the front of the dress under the sash and create a train, which was very pretty. The material is a bit thin (nude underwear recommended!), but it definitely flows well on the dance floor. My favorite part of the dress has to be the sheer back. It's extremely flattering, and even a bit sexy, but in a modest way!

This gown was absolutely breath-taking! When I recieved it in the mail, I almost cried and was at a loss for words because this dress is SO pretty. The gown is a true white that does not look too bridal (although if you wanted to wear this for a casual wedding, this would be an amazing choice!). I didn't know what to expect for weight of the fabric but was excited that it was very lightweight and had gorgeous flow. The overlay on the dress has a burnout silk pattern that is just beautiful! The top of the dress has ribbed bodice & the back of the bodice is sheer (semi see through). Since the dress is white and the fabric is sheer, make sure you wear nude undies. I also wore a clear stick on bra & it worked perfectly with the gown. You will not be disapointed!! Also, I am six feet tall & the length of the gown was very generous (I wore flats). I wore this to the International Ball at the Naval Academy. I paired it with Oscar de la Renta Great Barrier Reef earring and bracelet which made for a stunning look!

The dress runs long. I'm about 5'5'' and had to wear 4 inch heels. The bust fit perfect for me, and I'm a 32B. The fabric was so comfortable, and easy to move in. I can not wait to rent from RTR again!

I ordered the 6R and the 8R. I'm normally a 6 but the 8 seemed to fit better. I didn't feel like there was a huge difference between the two sizes but since they were both a little snug, I went with the 8 and I was okay with it being a little tight since its strapless. It was comfortable to wear throughout the night and everyone was saying how much they liked it. It was long but I made do with some high wedges. Overall, I loved the dress!

I wore this dress to DC's first Diner en Blanc and it was perfect for the event. I received so many compliments and even found someone else wearing the dress too! So adorable! I wanted something long, but was worried I would get too close to bridal. The fabric was really nice, but because of the design, it made it look like less of a wedding dress. I ordered the 8R and the 10R, ended up wearing the 10R. The 8 would have fit, but the zippers on both of these dresses were INCREDIBLY difficult to manage (thank goodness my friend and I met at my place to get ready together!) and this is really the only reason why it got 4 out of 5 stars instead of all 5. I would have preferred to wear the 8 mostly because of the length. As you can see in the picture, it was about 4 or 5 inches too long. I was wearing flats (I'm 5'6") because of the walking required for this event. However, I'm sure a little hem tape or heels would have solved that problem.

This dress was completely my style with its easy feel and hint of lace. I recommend this to anyone who wants a free spirited, low key dress. My only complaint was the length was a bit long for me and i am 5"7. Granted i did wear sandals. I highly recommend this one for the hippies out there

I liked the dress but I thought it was too wedding-y. The rose/flower pattern is beautiful though! It was too long but I didn't have to do a hem or anything because I wore heels and held it up when I danced.

Material is heavenly, slight shimmer and subtle enough to keep it from looking too bridal; although worn at a beach resort where formal event was being held and was asked by hotel staff if I had just gotten married. Went with the size 4 because I'm smaller in the chest (34B) glad I did. Afraid the 6 would have been far too loose on me. I'm 5'7 and should have gone with the regular, versus the long. Made it work with some hem tape, but will order regular in the future.

The dress was very pretty. I rented it for my senior prom and it was very long on me. I ended up exchanging for something for sparkly and promy. The dress truly is beautiful and very comfortable ! Just super long !!!

Loved this dress!! Wore it to dinner after our elopement in The Keys. It looks too long because I was wearing flats instead of heels like I needed to. It was such a beauty and I loved wearing it! Goes perfectly with a shawl for a chilly summer night!

Beautiful lace, wear nude undergarments, I did not need a bra with this dress (it pushes the twins up just fine). Fun dress and original, classy cut.

Perfect dress for a backyard wedding

I'm a photographer and rented this dress for a rustic bridal shoot. The client/model loved it & it fit like a glove. I love the raised velvet on the fabric. It has a casual maxie dress vibe, but still has those details that make this dress stand out for a more formal event.

Wore this for Diner en Blanc in Philly, it was gorgeous! However, the fit wasn't perfect, but I'm an odd build. The top was too tight so it kept folding down a bit, but I suspect that's because my lats and shoulders are broad from years of rock climbing. The 10 fit better in the chest but the rest of the dress was like a huge tent, so I went with the 8. Overall, this dress is gorgeous and the material is light enough to wear in the summer heat and humidity.

The dress fit well, but a little tight in the bust. It is elasticized in the back for a great fit around the waist.

I wore this for my reception, thank goodness I did because my wedding dress was so hot and heavy. The fabric of this dress and the light shine make it so elegant and it photographs BEAUTIFULLY! Nothing bad to say about this dress other than I had to send it back. I wanted to keep it forever! Such an awesome dress!

Fit well, very comfortable. The back of the dress is see-thru so need a sheer or backless bra. There is a corset built in which worked fine for me.

The length was great and I wore a 3" heel. The dress was a little tight and the bones left imprints on my ribs, but I made it through the night :-) just beware, run 2sizes 2small

I got this just for a trial rental to see if it was the right fit for my wedding in August and I'm happy to say i will be renting it again. I was looking for something simple and light but still elegant enough to pull off as a wedding dress. It was a little worn at the top but nothing anyone else would notice. The zipper was tough to get all the way up, it would get stuck right where to waist came in. No need for a bra with this one its has a built in lining that holds everything is just right.

I loved the dress it was beautiful in person. I rented for my bridesmaid to wear in my engagement/ marriage announcement. I was wearing an off white dress and wanted her to wear white. Unfortunately I guessed her sizes and neither fit, they ran small. She says she has a wider upper body than usual. The dress is very nice in person.

This was a beautiful dress but unfortunately it didn't fit. Runs small and I could not get it zipped :(
