Wore it for 8 hours for a wedding. Stepmother of the bride. Perfect!

The dress fit perfectly! It was for my grandpas 80th, so the mid length worked perfectly, I am usually a 0 and wore a 0 and it fit perfectly!

The dress was amazing! I have never received more complements. It was gorgeous. True to fit, on the tighter side but that is the beauty of the dress! So pretty and feminine. I will likely rent this again!

Not the best picture, but it shows the whole dress! The dress had a beautiful cut and fit like a glove! The dress is black with a purple lilac lace sheath over top. A little longer than I usually wear, but perfect for my event. Formal, flattering, and conservative. Other reviews stated that the black under layer showed below the lace, but on the size 4 I wore, it did not. Worn with black heels, but would wear with nude heels as well. In perfect condition!

Very pretty dress! Some reviews said the slip is black and makes the dress look darker than the photo, it look almost exactly as pictured to me! Loved it!

I wore this for a daytime military awards banquet. First off I have a very large chest (36DDD) and wore the size 10 without a bra. I have never in my life worn anything without a bra but this dress held them up! I used double sided tape to hold the black under sheath up so it didn't hang lower than the lace. Not really a big deal. Fit my curves like a glove! I paired it with pewter shoes and loved the look. I highly recommend this dress if you are attending a more conservative event. It was by far the most unique eye catching dress in the room!

Normally a size 6 but the 4 worked well and hugged my curves! I fretted over what to do with my hair but I got lucky and my attempt at a braided side bun was successful! Paired the dress with pearl earrings, silver shoes, and a grey clutch. The dress had more of a pink shimmer with black lining- loved it and felt special wearing it! Will definitely rent again soon!

I wore this dress as a bridesmaid to my friend's NYC wedding. The color for the wedding was lilac and the dress was the perfect shade. I was very nervous about the fit. I'm a small size 0 so even normal 0s can run a little big on me. This dress fit perfectly. It hugged my curves but in a clean way so it was very classy and sexy at the same time. It was also incredibly comfortable. It's modest in length but it fits so nicely that it's a very sexy dress. I was thrilled with it.

THe dress did have some pulls in the lace over lay.

Very flattering fit and the dress recieved lots of compliments. The black slip of the dress is a little longer than the lace. I used double sided tape to fold the hem up so it wouldn't hang lower than the scalloped edges.

I wore this dress for a wedding rehearsal dinner. It was so pretty, the color was great, and the material was soft, comfortable, and maintenance free. There was a couple of snags in the fabric and the zipper seemed to sit funny perhaps from all the wear, but it didn't bother me too much (that's why it's a 4 out of 5). I got so many compliments and was really happy with my choice!

I actually didn't select this dress for my summer wedding - huge mistake. Unfortunately the dress I chose wasn't available last minute and the wonderful people at RTR selected this for me as a replacement. It was amazingly comfortable, light, easy to move in, but still very chic and sophisticated. I received compliments all night.

The fit was great and this dress was perfect for a spring evening affair! It was very flattering and very comfortable. I spent the entire evening running around the event and did not fuss with my dress once!

Usually I don't rent dresses this conservative, but I am 8 weeks pregnant and feel like I am a different size every day due to bloating and changes in my chest size! So I just wanted something simple, comfy, and covered up. This was a great choice! The under layer is black jersey, with a pale pink lace overlay. The pink lace has silver metallic thread in it. It doesn't look silver so much as just shiny, as it looks on the model. I wore the 6, but the 4 also fit me, probably better than the 6 did. But because of all my pregnancy craziness I went with the 6 and belted it. I had problems with the lining draping below the lace in the front; possibly because I wore the bigger size? It was a pretty casual wedding so it was not a big deal. This would be a great dress to dance in, and definitely something you could wear comfortably all day if you had to. It was very comfortable and low-fuss!

my measurements are 32, 28.5, 36, and I'm 5'4", so I'm just really flat and straight, with a little flabby tummy, I put myself under "pear" body type. I was able to wear the 4 even though my waist is not as narrow as other size 4 dresses. When I put it on, I loved the texture and color. I thought I looked really pretty in this color, and when my hair, make-up, jewelry was put together I felt beautiful. As I'm reviewing the photo, I am starting to think it is probably for someone who looks older. My camera or lighting doesn't quite capture the true color or look, one is without flash and one without. The one without flash shows the shadows of the curves and give me a more flattering look. the one with flash has a flat look, and I look like an embroidered column, not pretty. I received 1 compliment about how pretty I looked, so my guess is that the dress on me was prettier in person than in photos. my husband gave no comments, probably should have been little less conservative. occasion: wedding ceremony at winery 4pm, dinner to follow, with dance floor. I chose this dress because I thought it was versatile for during the day, at dinner, and I can still dance in it.

The overall of this dress is just elegant! I rented this dress as a "try on". I was torn between two dresses and this was one of the contenders. I am currently waiting for the other dress to arrive, if you have curves go for it! This dress is comfy, elegant, beautiful, and I will definitely be keeping it in my short lists. You do although have to be a bit taller to wear it. I am 5'6.

This was actually my backup dress.... I loved it. It fit great... I was comfortable. I got ALOT of compliments on it. It photographs really well! I was trying to find silver heels.... but found a GREAT deal at Macy's.. and bought shoes color of the dress!

Perfect fit

I wore this dress with black tights and shoes. The black slip did not come out much at the bottom as other reviewers have suggested. This might be because my boobs are a little bit bigger and held the underneath slip up? I'm not sure! But it was an awesome dress and I would rent it again.

I originally rented this dress for my sister's rehearsal dinner. Later, I rented it for a wedding. I loved it so much that I actually purchased it from the designer's website on sale! The black lining does creep out of the bottom of the dress but I fixed it with some fashion tape for the rentals. I love this dress!

I love this dress! I received so many compliments. My backup size was a 4 and I wish I would have gotten an 8. I wore spanx just to smooth things out but the dress was comfortable and very breathable. I'd definitely rent it again.

The dress looked great and fit well, except for the bust. I'm 5'1" and top heavy (size 34DDD and fat goes there and to my back), and at the time I was 130-135 lb. This dress is not stretchy at all, so it was very tight up top. I'm used to wearing tight, stretchy dresses at size 2, sometimes 4. I ended up wearing the 4. It wasn't perfect, but the dress itself is very nice for someone with a more proportional body.

The picture on RTR had me concerned this dress may be to flashy for work, but it isn't. Bodice has black lining so I paired the dress with a black blazer. Looked amazing. Fit is so comfortable and flattering.

The purple color of this dress was great for a late summer wedding. The lace overlay made the dress shimmer just slightly. It was easy to move in and light which made it great for an outside wedding on a hot summer day.

I am a size 10 with a few size 8 and the dress I wore was the 10 and it was a perfect fit.

This dress was a over-nighter and saved my purple themed outfit planning. The associate who helped me search for a new style was absolutely amazing. The dress has a black under slip that I pinned up because it was lower than the lace overlay ( looked a bit weird ) but was absolutely perfect afterwards. The dress is true to size and extremely comfy! I would recommend this for anyone going to a wedding or event.

Fit nice, very pretty and easy to wear with a normal bra. Only complaint is that there were a few pulls in the lace and you can see where it was repaired in a spot on the front.

The dress was a little bit big, but comfortable on me and I usually wear a 2. It did run a little long but I'm only 5'1'' so it hit an inch or two below the knee. It was very comfortable and the lace overlay is so beautiful and sparkles just a little bit in the light.

I wore the size 12 and my daughter wore the backup size 10 so we were "twins" on Mothers Day! I usually wear a size 10 especially in designer clothes and the midsection of this dress is quite form fitting so that is why I said it "runs small". Only other problem which I ditto from previous reviews is that the black underlining does overhang in the front of the dress so I had to pin it up on both dresses. Other than that, the dress looks great, feels great and is great to wear for formal occasions in hot weather.

The dress has some stretch to it, so if fits your shape, I found that very flattering. It was comfortable and easy to move around in. I found the black lining hung a little lower than the lace but it wasn't a problem. I wore this for a Christmas party and it was perfectly festive.
