I wore this dress to prom, and it was absolutely beautiful!! I got so many compliments. The lace top has a kind of copper/green thread that catches the light, and the skirt is gorgeous and flowy. The sleeves were a little tight, but it wasn't too bad. It was a last minute order--the first dress I ordered didn't fit. But RTR's customer service was so wonderful throughout the process! I wore a 0 (I'm usually a 2) but it fit well, besides being a little tight around the waist. The length wasn't a problem -- I didn't need to wear heels. Overall, the dress was amazing! I was so sad to send it back.

I ordered both 4R and 6R. I normally wear a 4 but it was too right on the ribcage and wore the 6R. Perfect length ! I'm 5'5 and was able to wear 2" heels. It truly is an elegant dress and perfect for a ball!

This was one of the 4 back up dresses I received because both of the sizes of my original dress were unable to ship. It fit perfectly and was incredibly comfortable for the whole night! I didn't wear heels with it but if I did it would have been too short.

I am 5'0" and wore 5 1/2 heels with the dress an the length was perfect. I was nervous about renting a long gown since I am so short but Valerie, the stylist, sent me a lot of options. I got tons of compliments on the dress and was able to dance all night comfortably in the dress. Another rent the runway success!

Loved this dress! It fit perfectly and was extremely comfortable. The lace has a bit of a green/gold shimmer so I wore it with earrings that matched those colors. Definitely a fun but classy dress for a formal event.

Both my friend and I did rent the runway dresses for our event. It was perfect. I got the long size and wore my dress with heels. The dress was elegant, and fit like a glove. No issues with the zipper! :) One note: I found the dress on the site when I was specifically looking for green dresses. As you can tell in the photo, the dress is actually black. I was still very happy with the whole experience.

It fit just about perfectly. It was slightly tight on top but I didn't mind. It just doesn't give too much. Over all, it was perfect for the occasion and I got so many compliments on how it flattered my figure.

I'm 5'9, between size 4 & 6, ended up wearing the 6L because the chest and waist area didn't stretch and was more comfortable for a long night, but both fit nicely.

Oh how I loved this dress. Since I am 5'2" I can have a hard time finding a dress that is the perfect length with a moderate heel, this dress was the one! I wore about a 3 inch heel and the hem of the dress skimmed the floor in all the right places. There is no wiggle room in the waist of this dress, so to assure maximum comfort I went with the 2R. The detail of the upper portion of the dress is absolutely stunning however, the material can be a bit tight when you raise your arms over your head. And lastly, the zipper can be a challenge!!!! All in all this dress was a total winner and I felt amazing in it.

The fit was perfect for me; there was a little bit of loose fabric in the mid-section, but it made it easier to move around. I did have a little trouble with the zipper, but I was able to get in and out of the dress. I loved the color and design of the dress and would definitely recommend it to anyone who is looking for something modest, gorgeous, and comfortable at the same time. Also, I received so many complements on this dress! Thank you Rent the Runway for making spending time with friends ever more memorable. :)

This dress was everything I expected it to be after reading the others' reviews. Light, comfortable and elegant. I received numerous complements. It was a tad longer than I needed but with 4" heels worked perfectly. The zipper did give me some trouble, however if you pull the material together below the zipper itself and pull downward while someone else tugs up it should work.

I didn't know that there was a green tint on the top lace so it was a surprise when I got the dress. But I learned to love it and it gave it nice color and shine. The dress was comforatble and fit great.

The length was perfect with flats. I was surprised by how snugly the waist fit, as I usually have trouble finding something that fits my hips and is actually tight in the waist. I love that it works perfectly with a strapless bra.

If you are tall- you must wear flats! Otherwise dress is perfect- can wear to any event!

I want this dress to be mine forever! I felt so comfortable in it, and never felt so beautiful. I've had children, and my concern is my midsection but this dress did a great job at concealing it. The zipper did give us a little trouble, you'll definitely need another set of hands getting into the dress. I would't recommend it for larger busts. I am 34B and it fit nicely. I don't see how much more would fit into this size at least. I also would recommend sizing up. I wore the smaller of the two, but when this fit so perfectly, I never tried on the backup.

I actually didn't have nearly the issue with the zipper that I've been reading horror stories about. I got it zipped up all by myself! I had a friend button the top button, though. I ordered a 4R and 6R and ended up going with the 4R. The 6R fit a little more comfortably in the waste (the band is pretty tight) but the fabric between my chest and waste was loose and it made it look big. So, I sucked it up and went with a little tighter waste. It really only bothered me while I was sitting down. The long flow of the dress made is so comfortable to dance in. The only sad part was that the arm holes were tight enough to not allow me to raise my hands during songs that required them being raised! The arm holes were tight just resting my arms, though, so if you don't have plans to raise your arms you should be good. Overall I absolutely loved it and would certainly net it again if the opportunity presented itself!

Was apprehensive in renting a dress online since there was no possible way to try it on first (I always prefer trying things on before a major purchase). However, I went and read all the comments first and I was able to decide on the dress size based off of everybody else's statistics and choices and the dress ended up fitting perfectly. Like many mentioned, the zipper is a little tricky but wasn't that big of a deal to zip up. I was very happy with this purchase and will continue to rent from RentTheRunway. It was a truly spectacular dress with the lace top and iridescent green that I paired with a green and gold necklace and earrings and shimmery gold heels. The back of the dress was beautiful as well and I would definitely recommend that you wear your hair up so that everybody can see the delicate back. You will not be disappointed in this dress.

Unfortunately I don't have a great picture to show, but I loved this dress. It was classic and elegant for a military ball. It fits true to size, it is worth noting that there is no give in the bodice at all, so use the bust and waist measurements as your guide. I did experience the tricky zipper like other renters, it had to be carefully worked up past the ribbon at the waist, it seems to just be the way the garment is sewn. The dress was very comfortable and had a great, flattering shape. I ordered both the long and the regular and at 5'6" with 2 inch heels, the long just touched the floor, another thing to keep in mind. My dresses arrived one day early this time. Thank you again for a great rental!

This was a great dress for a black tie gala I had to attend for work. Flattering and pretty but not too revealing, and the gold accents in the lace top gave it a little something extra. Fit was perfect in a 6L, but had to wear 3 inch heels and it dragged just a bit in the back. The zipper, as most mentioned, was a bit of a pain, but I was able to muscle it up on my own. Overall, very satisfied with my first rent the runway experience and will absolutely be using it again for my next dressed up occasion.

The fit was great, it was beautiful and perfect for the black tie wedding. The long length just long enough for my heels, which were a few inches tall. Though, for dancing, I wore flats, and it still wasn't too too long.

Dress was gorgeous! Got so many compliments. I had no issues getting it on or off for that matter. My only comment would be that it's a long dress. I am 5'8 and it was on just hitting the floor with almost 3 inch heals. I loved this dress and how it made me feel. I will definitely use RTR again !

True to size, large in the bust if you are an A-cup. Zipper was a little difficult .

I wore this for a wedding at the Waldorf and it was absolutely perfect for the occasion. My normal dress size is a 2 and I stand at about 5'3", but went with the 4R based on previous reviews. It was just a bit longer on me than I would have preferred, but I wore my tallest black heels, and it fit perfectly! Hope this helps any other short girls worrying about length! Also, I got the zipper on my own. It just takes a little muscle.

It was fitted through the chest and at the natural waist. It was long enough where I needed to wear high heels so that it didn't drag on the ground. It was flow-y and very comfortable.

This dress was very comfortable and fit perfect! I probably should of ordered a 6L but made it work by wearing flats instead of heels. Fortunately, I did not encounter difficulties with the zipper.

Like all the other reviews said, the zipper took a while, but it worked out eventually. This is the type of dress that can look good on anyone. The top lace is much more green than gold, like it looks in the picture. Super positive experience and very easy! I got compliments on it all night. Because the waist band isn't stretching it might seem a little tight in some positions, but it was still very comfortable.

I'm 5'9 and originally wanted to rent the 2L, but they only had the 2R and 4L available on such short notice. I ended up wearing the 2R because it fit better in the bust area. I was afraid it was going to be too short, but it was perfect with flats! All of the reviews I read talked about the zipper being an issue, which it was tricky.. but with someone helping, eventually we were able to get the back zipped up. Overall I loved it and will definitely rent from Rent The Runway again!

Runs true to size. I usually have a really hard time with dresses, so I was pleasantly surprised that is worked out so well. The long version was perfect for a 5'6 person wearing 3 inch heels.

True to the reviews I read, the zipper was tricky. I'm thankful I had 2 roommates to help me with it or wouldn't have been able to do it myself.

I requested a 4R and a 6R, both of the dresses fit but the top on the 6R felt less constricting so I went with that one. I had problems with the zipper as well, but it was totally worth the hassle. The dress is very classy and I got lots of compliments. It's not too hot either, I wore it in 90+ degree weather and I was fine.

The dress is beautiful. Simple silhouette but chic and elegant in the details. I felt beautiful in the dress. I paired the dress with RTR necklace and earrings and the whole look was stunning, I received numerous compliments throughout the night. The size 8 fit perfectly but the arms were too snug so i had to go with the 10, the length was perfect with my 2.75" heels. Unfortunately the zipper would not go up past the ribbon waist. My husband, nanny and mother all tried for 30 minutes and it would not budge. We were at a loss because the dress not only closed but overlapped when held together, the dress was far from snug, the only thing we could see was that part of the ribbon was interrupting the rib track. I ended up wearing a shall to cover the top portion of the unzipped dress. I contacted RTR today and they more than remedied my order, in the end I'm extremely pleased with my experience and already have my next dress ordered.

This is a beautiful dress. I did not experience any difficulties with the zipper as previous reviewers had described. The little sleeve offered a little more coverage than many of the other RTR dresses I considered. I wore a 12L, and the skirt is long--I needed to lift it a lttle in order not to trip, in spite of being 5'9 and wearing 3 inch heels. The skirt is flowing but not so much fabric that you feel lost in it; the dress is not heavy at all. The lace overlay is really lovely. I felt really pretty at this very formal military event!

Gorgeous, gorgeous, gorgeous dress. Love the way it moved and the cut out on the back was soooo pretty. I got compliments all night long and really FELT beautiful too. However, just like all the other reviewers said, the zipper is a giant pain in the butt. It took 2 people helping at the event to get it up. This was my first time using Rent the Runway and I will absolutely do it again.

I started looking for my prom dress a week before the prom. I didn't know what kind of dress I wanted but I knew that I didn't want an uncomfortable dress or strapless dress that I would have to be caring about the whole night. I do like prom dresses and this one was pretty comfy and nice. I received complements the whole night.
