Rented this for my Birthday dinner. SO comfortable and got tons of compliments. You can't wear a bra without it showing through the front. Stretchy material..perfect length.

This dress was a little bit long and hit me right above the knee. I ended up wearing it with black tights because it was still cold outside and it ended up looking fine. The only downside is the thin material in the chest; you definitely need to wear petals or something stick on underneath! Overall the dress was very flattering and I don't feel like the mesh panels exposed too much.

I absolutely loved this dress. I wore it to my boyfriend's work holiday party and thought it was perfect. I wore the size 2, and would say it runs a bit big. The fabric has some stretch to it and was thick enough for me to feel comfortable wearing it in December. The slit and sheer in the front came down quite low. Had it been a different event, I probably wouldn't have had an issue with it. Because it was a work event, I wore a black strapless bra. You could see the black fabric through the sheer panel, but I felt more comfortable with that. I wore a pair of black tights and black pumps with a gold accent. This is one of the first dresses from RTR that I seriously considered buying!

Loved this dress! I got the 10 and the 8....10 was way too big in the chest for me....I think I could have worn a 6 which would have given me more support since I went braless but I was afraid it would be too tight in the hips.....I am pretty long waisted so the top stripe didn't hit me as low as others have stated and I didn't have any problems with the look of the dress....I am 5'8 so the dress was as short as pictured but was also not a problem. If you are shorter and or short waisted it may not look like it does on the model. I feel it runs true to size but my be big up top if you are smaller chested. I added a fashion belt to accent my waist. Super comfortable and very unique! Loved the color too!

This dress was perfect for the evening wedding I attended in St. Louis on a steamy day. I have a pretty full bust, but wore a strapless bra underneath. It was daring enough to have peekaboo cleavage but still appropriate with the sheer paneling. I took a make up checking selfie, so hopefully you can get an idea of the paneling. This was my first Rent The Runway experience, and I was very pleased.

Wore this to a theater awards ceremony! It was super comfortable and the sheer paneling in the front added a level of interest without being tacky. I felt sexy and classy and was excited to wear something a little outside of my comfort zone!

This dress ran a bit large but would flatter every shape other than straight, in my opinion. My tummy looks large in this photo but the fit was so much more flattering in person. As others state, you really shouldn't wear a bra. It's a little sexy that way and if you're small chested like me, you'll pull it off. I'm an 8 on top and 12 on bottom and the 8 was great. Big bottom ladies with small waists, this is your dress. Great first experience with RTR staff from start to finish!

Pros- This dress has a truly beautiful and unique color, and the mesh black top and v cut out add the right amount of sexy to a cute dress. Cons- None unless you cant wear a strapless bra, but I wore a black strapless that blended in with the mesh panel and it looked fantastic. I would rent this again in a heartbeat!!!

I normally wear a 6/8 in a dress but ended up ordering a 4. The 6 fit great but was a little long on me. I went with the 4 which was a little bit more fitted but I liked the length. You can wear a regular bar - which was nice. I wore black and you could not tell at all, the material is quality. Very fun color too! Overall great dress.

The minute I saw the dress I loved it! I was worried about the plunge and it can be revealing in the front but I wore a black strapless bra that has a thick front so it looks like it's a part of the dress. It's slimming at the top and flares out for a comfy fit. The dress is spandex-like so makes it feel bigger than it is. So so cute and feel fab in it!

I loved the color of this dress. It was also a great length, I felt comfortable in it the entire night. I used the Braza Reveal Bra stickies and they worked out fine. The material on this dress was a bit heavier than I was expecting but it ended up working out great because it ended up being a little chilly the day of the wedding.

Very cute dress... loved the fit and uniqueness of the dress. Being a DD, I can't wear strapless bras, and this dress did show my black bra underneath, but it actually wasn't that noticeable. Fit like a fit and flare, and very comfortable!

It fit well. The larger size bunched up in the chest area so I went with my smaller pick. It doesn't have any support in the breast area and you can't wear a bra. I am pretty small, but I was worried I might show too much through the fabric. It turned out to be fine. A lot of compliments on this cute dress! It's VERY comfortable. I wore it to The Teen Choice Awards 2014.

I rented this dress for my mom's 50th surprise birthday party and was really happy with it! The drop waist wasn't my favorite feature (not really into that trend) but everyone said it looked great on me. The color is way prettier in person and the fabric is unbelievably comfortable. Also, the top part in black is very sheer! I wore a strapless bra with a clear middle piece, but sticky cups might be needed for this one. I loved how it was still a little sexy but still appropriate enough to be around family and friends.

I wore this dress for a fundraiser dinner at the Dali Museum in St. Petersburg. I liked that it was a bit edgy because Dali was sort of weird. The 4 fit perfectly. I am giving it 4 stars because the way the stripes hit across my mid-section made me look a little fat and the dress was a bit wrinkly when I received it. I didn't have the right underwear for it so I went braless which wasn't too big of a deal. I didn't have breast petals but I would have felt a lot more comfortable if I had had those on. Even though I wasn't crazy about the dress, I received SO many compliments. Seriously, all my coworkers loved it. It was a nice dress overall and got the job done. Wouldn't rent it again though.

I usually wear a size 8 in dresses and I was very glad I ordered a size 6 for my second dress! I would definitely recommend sizing down when ordering this dress. I did not like the fact that I had to wear a sticky bra because you can see your bra in the front of the dress. You definitely have to wear a bra because the material is not thick enough to go without a bra.

I rented both the two and the four, but ended up wearing the four so I could have a little extra room on the top. The two and four are pretty much indistinguishable in size in the waist. The sheer top is nice, but a little revealing down the front, but in a saucy way. However, bustier girls (I'm a DDD), you're going to be on display! I wore a regular bra with it because my hair is long, and it covered the straps. But if you go strapless with this dress, it will have to accommodate the deeper neckline plunge. This dress was a 100% win for my birthday party. I received so may compliments on it all night!

A fun knit fabric mixed with sheer panels makes this dress sexy and cute at the same time. Not too dressy. I was the first person to wear the dress, it could have done with better pressing than I had time for. (Some of the seams stick up a little.) The fitting guide is correct, choose a size smaller as it runs large. It's a braless number so use a sticky bra if you are bigger busted (you can see the sides of the breasts through the front panel). You may also want to tape down the extra fabric on the inside front panel so it doesn't fall into view.

My original dress didn't fit and RTR was super helpful with getting a new dress out to me overnight just in time for my event. I probably wouldn't have chosen this for myself if I hadn't been crunched for time with limited options, but it was a nice dress, good quality material. Good luck wearing a bra under this. The mesh paneling reveals everything and the V neckline goes so low even strapless bras are obvious. The fabric is thick and tight enough that you don't jiggle much, so those stick on "breast petals" are all you need for this. If you have a pudgy stomach - SKIP THIS DRESS. The top stripe rode just under my stomach and made it look even more pronounced than it actually is. I didn't find it to be very flattering overall, just in the way it was cut. Lack of bra meant my chest wasn't supported well, and the seams and stripes around the midsection reveal all pudge. I ended up wearing this with a black blazer which looked great with the dress and hid most of the issues, plus gave it a more modest look since this was a family wedding. Overall it's a pretty good dress. :)

Couple things to note if you are renting this dress! It is far bluer in person and not purple as the picture shows. This dress is fairly fitted until the first black stripe. I didn't love the way it hugged in this section. If you're going to be in a lot of photos...when it's dark and a flash is used, the stripes don't appear black...instead kind of awkward nude mesh cutouts. Not my favorite rental, but someone with a different body type might have better luck with this one!

I wore this to a 30th birthday party for a friend. It was the perfect mix of sexy (thank you cleavage-teasing mesh) and sophisticated. It was comfortable and made from great material. My only complaint was that the v neck hem fabric would flip out under the mesh, making it look like my bra was exposed. Just make sure to have a friend who can alert you, should this happen!

The fit of this dress does run large. I typically wear a 10 and the 10 was definitely too big, the 8 I ordered as a backup size fit perfectly. It would be tough to wear a bra with this dress, but my bust is small, so the pasties I wore with it worked fine. I felt like it definitely needed a belt, but you could style this dress in many different ways. It was perfect for the event I attended and would wear it again.

It does run large so if you get two sizes, definitely go smaller. I normally wear a 10, but the 8 fit perfectly.

This dress was actually a replacement dress for my order because a size was unavailable. Last minute I picked this and I am so glad I did! I wore this to a wedding with an outdoor reception during warm weather. The dress is very breathable and the color is so unique! Definitely a pop against all the black dresses. I loved the mesh top because it made the dress a little sexy but not so much I couldn't wear in a church. Would definitely rent again!

Runs true to size, very flattering and comfortable dress

I rented a size 2 with a 0 as a back up. I ended up wearing the 0 and it fit perfectly! It was comfortable and I felt great in it.

This is a great dress! Wish I could purchase it! Very flattering and SO comphy!! I just had a baby so feeling comfortable in a more fitted dress was such a plus. I usually wear a 10 but went with the 8 because it just fit a little better. Only con I had was that the dress somewhat looks like it's been rented one too many times and is starting to fad a bit. Overall, I would rent again.

This dress is super cute, but definitely on the casual side. I recommend for daytime party or nice dinner. I wore a black strapless and was fine with it. To me it blended with the mesh. No spanx needed, very flattering. I received tons of compliments and the dress is comfortable! Absolutely a winner!

This dress is really flattering for a pear-shaped person, and the mesh cut-outs add some interesting elements. You do need to wear a stick-on bra because the top comes down really low. (if it's dark, no one would notice a strapless bra, but I was in a room with bright, florescent light, and in the photos, you could see the bra. It took away from the overall effect. The material is light weight--definitely comfortable for spring through fall. Easy to move in, great for dancing and eating!

Fits perfect at the top runs a little legs in the middle but I wore spanx as well because it does show everything. Not too think wore to a hot end of September wedding. Great dress overall!

I originally ordered another dress, this came as a back up to a back up that I didn't like! thank god i ordered this one because this was my favorite of the 4 that RTR sent me! its A line which makes me comfortable, but they mesh added sexiness. there was not need for spanx so i was able to be comfortable the entire night! great blue color great length, very happy with the RTR Service and products!

fit was perfect- i'm an hourglass, so i have broader shoulders, wide hips, and a smaller waist. This dress showed off my figure without showing too much! It was perfect for the dinner.

I am usually a 4 or a 6, and I wore a 2. It's tight but flattering (especially if you usually worry about how your hips/thighs look, because it flares out generously.) The transparent black mesh is very sexy. I want to buy this dress!
