the fabric and color are beautiful. this dress was very comfortable and i received so many compliments. i'd rent this one again.

The dress fits tight through the hips, but loose on top. I wear a 34D and the size 0 fit perfectly on top, but was tight around my hips. The size 2 I ordered for back-up was just way too baggy in the chest and sleeves. The fabric was soft and the dress fit so nicely. The event I went to was more formal than I expected, but this dress still fit the occasion just fine.

I loved this dress and wish I could own it! The length is perfect- I paired it with black leggings and black heels. It was also very comfortable; I was able to wear a regular bra. It was the perfect color (a deep hunter green) and style for the occasion, too- a Christmas Eve party!

Loved this dress. Very comfortable and pretty. Little longer than I had expected. I read reviews that said it was tight in the hips but I normally wear a size 4 and was able to downsize to a size 2, so I'd say it is pretty true to size if not a little big.

I rented this dress to wear out to dinner while my husband and I were visiting Big Sur. I wanted something pretty and yet understated since we were going to be in the woods :) This dress was perfect! The forest green color is great and I loved the fit. What's even better, you can wear a regular bra as the dress is nicely lined.

Wore this to a fashion hackathon. I am now 8 months pregnant but wanted to look stylish for this event, so I rented this dress in the largest size. It was great. I felt elegant despite being 32 weeks, and it was very comfortable. And best of all I got a ton of compliments.

i rented this for a christmas party and could not have been more pleased. i ended up thinking it looked better on me belted than it did without a belt, particularly because the dress runs large. the color is a deeply saturated pine, and the black lace is backed in nude fabric, so you really can wear any bra you want without worrying about seeing the straps. i highly recommend this dress, but suggest you order your normal size and a size smaller, or even a size and two sizes smaller. the dress runs large except for the arms, and would probably be incredibly flattering on any body type.

This is such a great shift style! The silk material is extremely comfortable and the lace detailing adds a wonderful touch. It is much more sophisticated in person, the picture really doesn't do it justice! Definitely a great style by Erin Fetherston

I rented this to wear for my mom's birthday surprise party the week before Christmas. It was perfect for the occasion. Classy and conservative yet unique with the lace insets and beautiful color. I almost did not wear it though. RTR sent me a replacement style because the size 2, which I typically wear, was returned damaged to them. When I first put on the size 0 it was tight in the arms and shoulders to the point that I couldn't raise my arms up, yet it was loose everywhere else. I wore it to work the day before so it wasn't a total loss of a rental and wouldn't you know it, the dress stretched out a bit and became way more comfortable, so I decided to wear it to the party, too. Glad I did. I was super comfy all night in it since you can wear a regular bra and actually eat and drink! Always a plus!

Loved this dress for the holidays. Unfortunately, my size 6 was not sent because the person who had it before me returned it damaged. RTR sent me the size 4, another dress, AND gave me a gift card! I wore the size 4, but the size 6 would have fit a little better. Definitely recommend this dress.

I wore this to my company's holiday party and it was really beautiful. The material is so soft and it is very well constructed. The top of the dress was very roomy, but the skirt portion hugged my hips in an unflattering way. I was determined to wear it, though, so I added a skinny belt and it made all the difference. If I had sized up (which wasn't even available), it probably would have been way too large. All in all, I loved it.

The color was my favorite part, along with the soft fabric and lace detail, this dress was a winner. I was also was 16 weeks pregnant and didn't want to attract too much attention to 'the bump' yet and this dress was comfy.

The dress was a beautiful shade and fit very well on top, however was a bit snug around the hips, which caused the top part to look a little more baggy than needed. It was a great rental and certainly worked for the night, especially with the necklace (also RTR).

Loved this for Thanksgiving at my sister-in-law's. Dressy, without being over the top or showing too much skin. The color was beautiful and the lace a fun touch.

I had originally ordered a different dress, but when it didn't work out, RTR overnighted this dress to me. I was SO pleased with the dress and was very comfortable in it for the Fall, outdoor wedding we attended. The emerald color was a definite hit. I would definitely recommend going down a size for the backup. I normally wear a 2 but due to the shift style of this dress the 0 was perfect, even with my 32DDD chest. Also, you can wear a standard bra with this dress, which is a huge win in my book. I would definitely recommend this dress. Thanks RTR for saving the day with this dress!

I rented this dress for a double dinner date/Christmas concert with my husband and some friends. The color is perfect - a rich, foresty green. It was so comfortable (a bit more on that later) I ended up being able to wear it to work all day, which was an added bonus. The reason it's so comfortable is because it runs big - it's much, much looser than it appears on the model in the picture. I wore a cardigan and a belt at work to give myself some shape, and then took those off for the evening. The sheen of the fabric makes it dressy. So if you're looking for something you can move in all night and eat as much as you want, this is a perfect dress! If you're looking to show off your shape...try something else.

This dress is much more hunter green than it appears online! I loved the richness of the coloring and the lace has an underlay so it's extremely sophisticated. Perfect for fall or winter events. I order a 6 with a 4 as my back up as I didn't want it to be to loose. Both the 4 and 6 were snug in the hips and I don't tend to have that problem with dresses like this. The 4 fit best because it wasn't as baggy on top. Overall, it was a great dress and I couldn't be happier with the RTR experience. They have been nothing but helpful! - Sorry I don't have a better picture, but you can see the great color here!

This dress was great for a formal dinner, it was comfortable and elegant and forgiving of the fact that I'm not built like a model!

It fit well around the shoulders but was tight around my hips and thighs so kept riding up. I had to tug at it a few times throughout the night but no one else took notice. I would have opted for the next size up but it wasn't available for my rental date and I had my heart set on that particular dress so I risked it. All in all it was a winner

Great fit, beautiful fabric, first rental (definitely not last). FYI: below the knee on those who are not tall like the model in the advertisement.

I wore this dress to a Christmas luncheon -- everyone was in red and I stood out in green. Beautifully made dress, very comfortable fabric. Thought I would need a strapless bra because of the lace neckline but it's lined in nude. Runs big and I was sorry I hadn't gone down a size. Just rented another dress for next week. This site rocks! Couldn't be easier!

I thought the color of this dress was perfect for an outdoor fall wedding. I was so comfortable and got a ton of compliments. I wore with gold jewelry and black shoes. I would definitely rent again!

Fit is somewhat lose. Be careful not to get water anywhere near the material.

I rented this for a night out, but ended up getting sick and was unable to go! However - I had a great experience regardless with RTR! I ordered the 2 and 4…RTR notified me that the 4 was unavailable, and that I could email them 5 dresses I was interested in renting regardless of price. I still was planning on wearing this green number even with the other 2 dresses that were sent - it fit great and was not too dressy, which was what I was looking for.

I wore this for a holiday party and loved the material, etc. Like the other reviewers, it was a bit tighter in the hips then up top.. Further, at 5'3" it was on the long side for me but worked out great belted. Overall I received a lot of compliments and would definitely recommend - even more so if you're tall!

Rented a 2 and a back up of a 0. I ended up wearing the 0. It was bit tight across the bust but fit pretty well.

Absolutely loved this dress, the green was perfect for the holidays! It ran a little big so I ended up wearing the 0. It's also longer than I thought it would be, it hit about an inch above my knee. I'm also only 5' 1".

I didn't wear this little dress - it came as my backup. But the green was so beautiful, and the dress was really well cut.

Lace is lined so no worries about bra straps!

Looks see-through in the picture, but it is lined with a beige lining. No need for a strapless bra.

I recommend you size down. This dress felt like I ran at least one size bigger. I paired with textured black tights and booties.

I wore this dress for a Christmas party and LOVED it. It is a little boxy, so I ended up wearing a belt with it which really added some shape. The color is gorgeous and much richer than it looks in the photos. There is a nude lining, so don't worry about the lace detailing at the top with bra straps. I have a pear shape, and had to size up to get some room in the legs/bum region. Others with the same shape may want to order their backup dress up a size! Overall a beautiful dress!

The dress fit large to me but after I belted it at the waist it looked better.
