You need to double knot the belt it comes with, or you can add your own belt. I didn't need to wear a bra with it but you could. I wore it for NYE, wish I had a better picture, but it was great and I got lots of compliments!

I ordered my normal size 6 and then a 4 just to be safe and the 6 fit perfectly. The 4 was snug in the hips and thighs, since the skirt area is a bit form fitting. But I loved this dress, I loved how I felt in this dress and I loved all the compliments I got in it. The tie came undone a lot but it really didn't bother me that much. I'm sure I could have double knotted it but like I said, it wasn't a big deal to continue to tie it. I would definitely rent this dress again for a night out. I wore it for my friend's bachelorette party but could see it for a fancy dinner out. I felt amazing in it.

I loved this dress even more in person. It's sexy yet very classy. It is slim through the waist and skirt but the fabric is stretchy, order up for your back-up if you're worried about the fit on your hips. If you're an apple like me, definitely order some Spanx!

This was such an easy black dress! It is a great dress for any time of the year and can be dressed up or down very easily! It was a really easy fit, but it does not have a zipper, so it has to be slipped over your head. You do need to wear a strapless bra, because of the exposed shoulder and it hit me about 4 inches above my waist. I loved that the waist was elastic and the adjustable belt really cinched my waist! I would highly recommend this dress!

Not just your basic LBD. We attended a high profile charity event with many friends and celebrities, so I wanted to look sophisticated and make it a special night. I sized up because I have a butt and didn't want any pulling. The rest of the dress was a bit roomy and would have allowed me to size down. I spent a bit of the night adjusting the top because of this. I would definitely rent this again, but with the variety of styles from RTR, not sure I'll have time!

A fun, comfortable dress. The belt is very long, and I wasn't sure if I was supposed to double it up, which I did, and it worked out well. The waist was on high me, I probably could have gone one size bigger just to be a tad bit more comfortable.

So I ended up not wearing this dress ONLY because the event I went to was way more casual than I thought, BUT I loved it and would rent it again. The 6 fit but it was a little snug so if I would have worn the dress I would have went with the 8 because it was a little more roomy.

This dress fit me like a glove and I had so many compliments! The one shoulder style allowed for a one-strap bra which help add to the comfort. The simple belt brought interest without being too much. My only complaint is that the dress was tight thought the lower thighs ( I'm 5'2") which made walking a bit challenging. Perhaps a larger size would have alleviated the walking issue.

This dress was perfect for my formal event! I am 5"3 and it was knee length on me. The material is stretchy for a comfortable, easy fit! There is also a tie around the waist for a flattering snug fit around the waist.

I rented this dress for a wedding and it was a great fit. One shoulder dresses aren't exactly the best shape on me, but I decided to take a change. I got a lot of compliments, wore it with nude shoes and the Kate Spade turquiose earrings to give it a pop. the belted waist added some shape. Fabric was very comfortable and good for dancing at a wedding.

This dress is perfect for a coctail party. Hugs in all the right places. Skirt is slimming so make sure you order a size up if you have a backside. Very classy. Not revealing. Must Accessorize!

I run between a 0 and 2 most of the time but I have a full bust so I often have to size up. I'm don't consider myself a skinny size 0, my body is more fuller/athletic. The 0 was a tight, sexy fit but not uncomfortable, however I could have easily worn the size 2 as well (I went with the 0). If you prefer a tighter fit go with the smaller size. I am only 5'1" and the length of the dress was perfect, hit me at mid thigh which is usually not the case with most dresses, they usually run longer for shorter women. This was a great LBD - I wore them with a pair of turquoise stilettos and earrings for a splash of color.

Cute little black dress worn to my husbands law school formal. Got several compliments and was very comfortable on. If you are looking for something with flash adn flare, this is not the dress for you. If you want something classic and fashionable, i recommend this dress

I rented this dress for a dinner party. It was nice and flattering, but definitely runs tight through the hips and booty and I'm glad that I ordered a size up. If you're looking for something more casual and low key, this is a good one. But not the type of dress that punches a "wow" factor.

This dress is cute it just didn't do anything for my shape. I'm a small girl but have curves and it just made me look bigger than I am so I didn't even end up wearing it out. Also, worth mentioning that it doesn't have a zipper so it was a task to get in and out of without getting deodorant alllll over me.

The underarm kept rising up into my armpit so I had to keep pulling it down. Otherwise, it was comfortable.
