I wore a tankini under the dress because I don't like to show any cleavage. Loved the fitted dress and length.

This was by far my favorite dress so far. Not only did I get a million compliments on it. But it was so comfortable! I want tobuy it. The only downfall is the material in the front did not sit flat and looked a little odd it might need a little fix.

Fit tight across the chest, put in general I really liked the dress.

The dress fit beautifully. I can go between a size 4 and 6 so I chose the 6 to be more comfortable since the event I attended had a lot of food/drink and I didn't want it to feel too tight around my midsection after eating. I'm 5'2" and the dress came my shin, but honestly, it was perfect. I liked the longer length and wore a 3-4" heel which really made me feel tall and thin in the dress. The only thing that RTR should fix on this dress is in the bust line - the lace material needs to be tacked down. It folded over and was showing the inside black liner. Fortunately I was able to make a temporary fix for my event and made the lace lie flat. Highly recommend this dress.

Longer than I expected and a little looser than expected, but a gorgeous fit overall. Loved the 'deconstructed' detailing around the seam edges.

I usually wear a 4 and this was no exception. The dress is beautiful, but without fashion tape - it would look like mess. Once you’re all taped up, it def works. Material is not too thin, so I didn’t have to worry about undergarment lines and wore a regular bra. There’s a respectable peekaboo for the boobs, so I didn’t feel like it was too much for a formal event full of strangers. At 5’1” the length was below the knee, whic was perfect for this type of function and although it’s sleeveless it was fine for a December party in NYC. 2 thumbs up!

The dress was classy and easy to wear though tight through the chest area. Rented a size 10 which was fine through my small waist and hips but created much cleavage with my 36DD bust with the dress. It worked out fine, but would prefer a looser chest area.

Very flattering dress, the lace overlay is forgiving. I am nursing so it was a little tight in the busy but was able to get into my regular size (with a little help)!

I rented this for a work event that I attended for my husband's company. It was the perfect mix of conservative but beautiful. The lace detail was gorgeous and the dress fit me perfectly. Some reviews mentioned it running small but my dress fit me very well. The material is very thin, so be aware of that if you are going to be eating and drinking a lot! I would 100% rent this again.

It runs quite small. The fabric around the edges does not lay perfectly flat but it still looks great. The fabric has some stretch to it whivh made it easy to dance in. Its a beautiful dress!

The lace around the neck sometimes didn't lay flat, but I hardly noticed. Other than that, it was great! I am 5'9 and I loved the length

I am large compared to almost all the other women in my family, so I wanted a dress that would conceal my tummy and make me look slimmer without squishing me to death! This dress fit the bill. The lace and slight overlay at the waist gave me a nice shape, and since I have a more regular sized-bust, I had no issue with how my normal size fit. Like others mentioned, the lace at the top didn't want to lie flat in some places, but it was easily remedied with fashion tape. Really happy with my first Rent the Runway experience and I will look for other dresses from this designer.

I had to wear my backup size 10 (I thought I'd take an 8) in order to accommodate my 32G breasts. Otherwise, it was a good fit - perfect length for my height, could wear my regular bra without it showing, easy to pair with a shoe I already had in my closet.

To say the dress is beautiful is an understatement. This dress is stunning! I absolutely love it. The lace is so soft. The fit and cut is great. It's super comfortable. The "white" lace is a soft delicate off white. I received many compliments. My husbands mouth dropped when he saw me. (Now that's a compliment!). I would definitely recommend this dress. I love it. I did wear one size up as the bust area was snug in my regular size. Did I say how much I love this dress?!?!?!

Classy dress for Fall New England wedding w the fiancés family- so wanted to make sure it was appropriate. Hit right above the knee on me and I'm 5'10". The lace didn't lay flat along all the edges, but it wasn't a big enough deal to do anything about!

Dress fit perfect. It felt like it was made for me. I have a fuller bust but slim waist. The length hit right below my knee which was exactly what I was looking for. The material was comfortable, no itchiness or chafing. There is a bit of fringe along the neckline that kept folding under but it was a minor detail. I received so many compliments that I just gushed about RTR.

The size 10 actually fit, but it was a little snugger than I like to wear my clothes. I felt more comfortable in the size 12. It made me feel elegant and confident.

True to size. I paired it with a wide belt because I like belts. It is beautiful without belt too. I have an athletic torso and slimmer hips. Fit me beautifully. Needed a bit of fashion tape for the lace in certain places where it wouldn't lay flat. A lot of ooompf to this dress without being too revealing

This was a great backup dress that I didn't end up needing but loved just the same. I didn't wear it primarily because there is a deep slit up the back and I was going to be walking onstage and needed something a bit more modest, but still, this dress is cut very well and really a classic look.

Loved the fit and feel of this dress - ordered an 8 and 10 - wore the 10 as it gave me more room to dance. Very elegant, not too low in front; perfect for the occasion and would rent again.

Overall fit was a little small. I sized up. Very flattering. Liked the length. Pretty much exactly what I expected. Was able to wear a normal black bra.

This dress is amazing! It is soft and delicate and has intricate lace details and I loved it. My only problem with it is that the lace around the neckline has a tendency to tuck itself up into the dress which makes it lose a little bit of the beauty, some fashion tape would've easily fixed this. Overall it was beautiful and I loved it, would recommend it and would probably rent it again for another event.

I recently wore this to my Goddaughters Christening. The only thing is if you are heavy on top the dress fits snug. I could have fit in a smaller size but because of my bust I had to go with the bigger size. Loved the dress though, the picture online does not do it justice.

Light, airy, true to size, very soft! I was worried the lace would be scratchy! It was a fantastic length, beautiful detail, even prettier than in the photo!! Everyone loved it! Just stunning!

I usually am in between a 6 and an 8. I am a 6 in the waist but unless the top is looser I tend to have to size up for the bust. Ended up wearing the 8 as the 6 wouldn't zip. The 8 was tight on the bust at first but overall it was nice fitting. I received lots of compliments. I had to use fashion tape to keep some of the lace pieces to lay flat so as long as you are ok dealing with that I would recommend this dress.

This dress was beautiful! I wore it to a black and white gala, and it was perfect. I got compliments all night! I am in between sizes 10 and 12 currently. I tried the size 12 first and it fit but was a little big in the bust so I opted for the smaller size to show off some curves! :) I was a little concerned about the length and lace combined might make it seem a little more mature for my age but when i put on the dress it was classy and sophisticated. The bust line is deceiving in the photos though it was much lower cut than I was anticipating. I didn't mind but this could be a potential issue for women on the bustier side. I paired this with the Diane Von Frostenburg diamond clutch (pictured) and it was the perfect addition of sparkle.

This was my first rental from RTR and I'm so glad I took the plunge! I wore the dress to my husband's office Christmas party at a local county club. I ordered the size 10 and 12 and ended up needing the twelve. I have a large rib cage and the ten would not zip over that area. The dress arrived looking like it was right off the rack. The lace was in perfect condition and it felt like the full lining was silk. The cut was perfect for my body shape and the length was unique (in a good way) to set it apart from other cocktail dresses. The one negative was the very difficult zipper. It very easily got caught in the lace or lining and was impossible to zip without assistance. Even with the zipper issue, I would rent the dress again. I wore the dress with the Slate and Willow Flyaway Floral Petal Earing and loved the look!

This dress was very pretty. Lots of coverage on the top. It's a bust minimizer so if you want your boobs to look smaller this is a good option. Soft lace. Great length.

I'm a bit top-heavy so I didn't need to wear a bra with this dress. Other than that, very true to size!

This dress was everything I hoped it would be!! The event was an older audience so I didn't want the dress to be too sexy. It was a wonderful mix of modest, a bit of sexy with the neckline, but professional. It definitely looks like a heavier fabric in the model images, but I was surprised by how light it is! I got so many compliments on it through the night. The one thing I'd advise is to not wear it in drier weather (winter). The slip underneath clings to your legs after friction of walking. This isn't noticeable on the outside layer luckily, but I felt it at some points of the night. I also have very broad shoulders and the width of the shoulder straps were perfect and very mature looking! I wish I owned this dress

I bought this dress on a whim for a wedding and it didn't disappoint! I was 17 weeks pregnant when I wore it and just starting to show so it was a little snug around my hips/stomach. Lots of compliments and showed off my tiny bump beautifully. Excited to wear again and again after pregnancy.

I received a lot of compliments on this dress! It was true to size. I am 5'2", 133 pounds and I wore a size 6. Other reviews mentioned the neckline, which I agree was somewhat problematic. I had to use tape to keep the edges down. I was a little self-conscious about it throughout the night. The dress fit in the hips, but it would ride up slightly as I walked. I had to adjust the sides every so often. I felt pretty and I would rent it again!

This dress looked great, but it was a little tight and I didn't feel comfortable sitting down in it. So I wore a different dress. Loved the way this one looked, though. Size up if you're not sure.
