I wore this for a NYE dance and it was perfect. Very comfortable for dancing and moving around. I rented the 4 and the 6 but 4 fit better. 6 was gapping in the armhole too much. Lining has stretch. I was able to wear the size 4 shell and the size 4 lining. Definitely need to wear this with a belt/tie. It just looks better. Gorgeous details. I got many compliments.

I wore this dress to a wedding in Newport during the summer. I felt so confident and pretty. It fit perfectly and I received compliments all night long. I also rented earrings that were a perfect match. I highly recommend this dress for all body types!

This dress was perfect for my bachelorette brunch in New Orleans! The top layer was a little itchy at first, but it was something that wasn't so irritating I couldn't get past it. I'm short so it hit me about tea length. I get hot easily and in Nola it was fairly warm, so after brunch, I ended up changing, but I still loved the dress. Best one I've rented from RTR so far!

After reading a handful of other reviews, I followed the advice to get one that is your normal size and one that is a size smaller. The slip is snug so I wore my normal size in the slip (because the dress runs big) and the smaller size for the dress overlay. I wore this for an outdoor summer wedding in which my husband was the best man and my toddler son was a ring bearer. We were in Prosser, WA in July, and the temps were in the high 90's/100's. I was very comfortable and the lengrh was perfect for chasing a toddled around. I also recieved lots of complimants (which makes anyone feel good)!

What a pretty dress! Fit was true to size, and the colors are lovely. It is a two-piece item with separate slip and lace overlay. As a result, I wouldn't plan to wear it on the hottest days of summer. Otherwise it is quite versatile and flattering.

I rented this dress twice, and I'm in love with it! First I wore it to our engagement party, and then I wore it for our engagement photos. I would like to buy it, but I can't find it for sale. I'm hoping that someday Rent the Runway will add it to their for sale items! It fits very well, and is true to size. There is a slip that goes underneath it. You can wear a regular bra with it, which is nice. It goes well with nude or black shoes. A great dress!

My first RTR experience was a success! This dress was terrific. Someone told me I had the best dress of any guest at the wedding-- can't get a much better compliment than that! The dress runs just a tiny bit large, but I was happy in my normal size 4, though I probably could have worn the 2. Size down for your backup size.

I usually wear 6 but ended up going with the 4 mainly because of length... it fell a little long. The slip it comes with is a bit tighter though, so I mixed & matched and used the 6.

I loved it so much I bought it!!! It's modest with a high neckline but cute and sexy by showing off legs. 10/10! (just make sure to have a nude or black slip to go under)

I wore this to my brother-in-law's wedding and loved it! I had read reviews that it runs a bit smaller so I ordered a smaller back-up size but ended up going with what I typically wear, a size 4. The slip is separate so you could also wear a black one underneath to dress it up. I got so many compliments on how beautiful the dress was, when I danced it even flared out a bit when spinning on the dance floor. It did have some loose threads on the embroidery and the zipper was a bit temperamental, but other than that I would recommend renting this!

This is a gorgeous dress! I didn't consider it extremely flattering but I loved the fabric. I rented it for a vendor show and it was formal without being stuffy, colorful and perfect for winter (The photo shows without a sweater but I had it layered with tights, black cardigan and black booties). I am 5'3, 125lbs, I think the length would be better on a taller person but with tights and boots I was fine with it.

I wore this lovely dress for an award ceremony. It runs true to its size, very comfy even though I has a bit of a high neck.

The dress was so beautiful and comfortable! I ordered the sizes 2 and 4. I could have worn either size, they both fit. I ended up wearing the size 4 because the lace at the neck looked better on the size 4 dress. The size 2 it was not laying flat. I would definitely wear this dress again! I got so many compliments.

Super happy with this rental!! As you can see... a lot of people have rented this one, and it's obvious why! I did end up wearing the size 8 (my usual size), but.... the 6 fit great, too, just a hair tight in the chest. So size down for your backup size. I wore it to a country wedding in July in Michigan and it was perfect. I especially loved that you could wear a normal bra and underwear... no need for strapless. I had no trouble with the neckline. The slip underneath was fitted, but stayed in place just fine. Also the seam around the waist area was elastic (versus a stiff stitching that wouldn't "give" at all) which again added to the comfort of this dress. I wore a strappy Steve Madden wedge which was perfect.

Fits true to size. Only complaint is that the neckline is slightly itchy. Besides that, I would totally buy this dress!

The dress is a slip and a separate lace overlay. Good for full bust. I am a 32G and wore a normal bra with straps in nude. You could not really see be bra through the lace. Flattering a line shape. Would rent again.

I wore this dress for my bridesmaids luncheon and received so many compliments. The material is a little bit scratchy, but the cut is so flattering, and the details are beautiful. I sized up due to other reviews, but could have worn the size down, however it would not have been as comfortable. The dress had some signs of wear, but nothing that who prohibit me from wearing it. It seemed to be a little bit stretched out, as well. However, I was so happy with my choice!

I received so many compliments on this dress, it was a great knee length on me (I'm 5'3). My favorite part was how great the dress looked while dancing! It was a full skirt so when I twirled it looked amazing. Highly recommend!

Everything about the dress was perfect, from delivery to ease of return. I received many compliments and it was extremely easy to wear. The dress also had some weight to it, which made it hang well. It really was beautiful! I even had it delivered to the AirBNB we were staying at in a remote beach town south of San Francisco. I was nervous on delivery day the entire way home from touring the city because I didn't bother with one of my own backup dresses in case the dress didn't show up. We got there and the dress was right where it should be and the fit was perfect!! It was also nice having the garment bag to transport that and my other dresses from the coast to our inland hotel for the wedding weekend. I couldn't have been happier and hope to rent another one for my 40 year class reunion coming up this summer. Thanks Rent the Runway!!

It flares out at the bottom but that's a great part about it you have a lot of space to move around and nothing it too restricting.

Fit very well and I felt great in this dress! The pattern is so unique! Like many others I used my own black slip (amazon $16) and did not use the nude slip it came with. The nude slip fit fine but I felt it was a little more casual with the nude and I wanted to go for a more formal look. It also coordinated better with my black waist belt. I like the way this dress moved on the dance floor as that is what I look forward to most at a wedding- this was a really great dress to dance in and photographed well! I have some post-baby-bump bulge that can make it look like I am still pregnant in some dresses that are tight around the mid-section. This dress style and a pair of black spanx helped to hide my problem area making me feel more confident. :) I would definitely recommend this dress and would rent again!

There was a return snafu so this came to me just with the top layer and not the accompanying slip. I wore my own slip and it worked out. The dress was a modest cute but the sheer background for the flowers made it a little edgy and fun. The lace was gorgeous and the skirt whirls beautifully.

Just fyi, the slip underneath isn't connected to the dress. That surprised me with I received my order. Besides that, this dress was extremely comfortable and breezy. I got many compliments while at the wedding.

Absolutely beautiful dress. This was my back-up and ended up being perfect. It does run a little big in the waist but I didn't find it to be a problem as it fits the dress style. A little scratchy at the neckline by the end of the night but not a big deal. Everyone wanted me to buy this one!

As other reviewers have said, the outer layer of this dress runs a bit large so I recommend ordering your true size and a size down for the backup. I wore this item to an Indian wedding (aka I was in it for 9 hours), and was comfortable and getting compliments the entire time. It moves beautifully when you dance and is figure flattering. I would definitely order it again.

This is such a fun dress! I typically wear a 6-8 and the 6 fit perfectly. I didn't find the slip rode up too much. The lace collar kept flopping over and I wish I had had time to either press it or tape it so it stayed up.

I wore this dress for a very elegant rehearsal dinner, it wasn't too fancy or too casual. I received many compliments. I'm not very busty but it made the ladies look nice. I am hippy so the slight empire stitching helped tone them down. I was very surprised that it was a two piece dress but it didn't effect how it looked, couldn't even tell it was two. It did lay high on the neck, no necklace but long earrings. I really don't have anything bad to say about it. Very pleased, super comfortable!
