Playful and flattering. The time on the dance floor was incredibly enjoyable. I got tons of compliments and honestly did not want to take it off.

Glad I got the 10, fit nicely and was not uncomfortable. Pockets are great and fits with a normal bra, however I wish it had the little snaps to keep the straps in place. There was a bit of extra room in the chest area for me. The dress isn't as shiny in person as it is in the picture, the fabric is a bit thick but very nice and not cheap looking at all. The tightest part is around the rib cage and the rest of the skirt is full but not too big. Length was fine and appropriate for wear to church, long as you don't twirl around too fast!

I rented this for my family Christmas photo shoot, since we were doing formal photos this year. Perfect color to match the holiday decor at the Waldorf, where we took our photos! I wore the 6, but did wish later that I had spent more time in the dress before deciding. I hadn't even tried on the 8, but after sitting in the car traveling for a bit, I was uncomfortable since this runs a bit tight in the rib cage/bust area. My chest was a bit squished, since I opted for a more conservative bra, as opposed to more of a push-up, since it was for family photos. I feel like maybe the 8 would have been better, but the dress looked fantastic! It was worth a little discomfort for the great pics :)

I loved this dress! The material was heavy which was perfect for cooler temperatures. I got compliments all night long and felt very confident in this dress. I would absolutely recommend this dress for any event.

This is my 4th dress from RTR, I have had excellent service. The most helpful part of the website is the photos, however I felt the photo for this dress was not accurate, the dress is most definitely deep burgundy. Which is why I love it, in fact my husband wished I had purchased it. It fits me so well. And it was fun to dance the night away with the full skirt, it twirls around - very cool! I think I stood out in this dress, the fabric is a bit heavy, due the brocade.

Perfect for the wedding, great length, color, etc. just no complaints, and so many compliments.

This was the 1st time I used Rent the Runway. I was nervous to try it since you can't try on the dress until a few days before the event. So, I went to my local Store in NYC to try on a few dresses. This dress was actually picked out by the Stylist. I know that if I had not gone to try it on, no way would have I rented this dress. I wore it to a wedding. The only tight part is around the waist. The top and bottom were very comfortable. The "V" neck is a little low but I still felt sexy but still classy. I don't usually like to wear short dresses but the pleats in this dress made it very comfortable. Overall I really loved this dress and I got a lot of compliments.

I ordered this as my backup dress and ended up wearing it to a work event. I was concerned when I ordered it that the skirt would look too full and girly, but it ended up being perfect for a more formal cocktail-attire awards dinner. I felt fancy enough around others who were wearing gowns, but not overdressed. The straps were a bit long on me, but I made it work, and the material was extremely thick which made wrinkles a non-issue. I would definitely rent this again!

I love this beautiful dress. I wore it to a wedding. The fitting bodice and full skirt give the body and amazing shape!

I'm a street size 0P and got this dress in a size 2. The hemline hit just at the knee level rather than above the knee like the model. I prefer longer hemlines anyway. It was a cold, rainy evening and I was glad for the heavier fabric. I felt really feminine in this dress and loved the full skirt that moved as I dance. I had so much fun in it.

I ordered a size 6 as well as a size 8. Both dresses fit very well, however, I opted for the size 8 as it offered more room for my full bust. The length hit right at my knee, which was great for a formal event. As others have noted, the color is much more of a deep, rich burgundy than the brighter red of the stock photo. It is the perfect color for fall events. The thick fabric hangs beautifully and the full, pleated skirt is wonderful for dancing - and allows ample room for eating seconds.. or thirds!

The color is definitely a maroon and not red like in the picture but it fit wonderfully, had pockets, and the material was heavy so even though it was sleeveless it worked for a fall wedding.

This was my first RTR experience and it couldn't have gone any better. I placed my order on Wednesday and the dress arrived on Friday evening. As soon as I put the dress on I felt beautiful, it is classy and even a bit glamorous which was perfect for the semi-formal wedding we were attending. I was a little worried that the skirt was going to be too full but it fell very nicely and even relaxed a little bit after hanging it over night. The fit seemed to be true to size. I got a size 2 and size 4. The 4's straps were a little loose in the shoulders and big in the chest but fit my rib cage perfectly. The size 2 fit me perfectly in the shoulders and chest but was a bit of a squeeze for the rib cage. I ended wearing the 2 , hoping it would loosen over the course of night but it didn't, so that was slightly uncomfortable. The fabric is semi-heavy so it was perfect for a fall wedding. The color is much deeper than what the RTR images show, more of a maroon with hints of gray, which I actually preferred over the classic red color in the RTR photos. It stood out among all of the LBD's without being too "showy." I really felt beautiful and confident wearing this dress! I would highly recommend it!

I had to go a size up, but I think it's pretty true to size. Usually I have to do this with formal dresses anyway. The color is beautiful, and the quilted stitch pattern is a nice touch but not too noticeable. Even though it wasn't a petite size, it was perfect - not overwhelming on my 5'1" frame. You don't need a bra, which is a plus!! It has a 50's feel to it, so I felt like a rock-n-roll Audrey Hepburn. I wore it with rose gold accessories, btw.

It was very comfortable, didn't feel tight in any places. It has really great movement and pockets! I got the size 4 as well and it fit, but squished by chest a bit so I went with the 6. The color is definitely more of a deep burgundy than the bright red it shows in the picture, but I actually liked that better. It's perfect for a fall/winter event because of the weight of the fabric. I will rent again!

I still have a bit of a mommy belly from four pregnancies so usually avoid dresses with a fitted waist, but I loved the color and style of this dress and thought I'd try it. The 4 was a bit snug around the waist, but not uncomfortably so. The pockets were perfect for carrying my phone and lip gloss. I would definitely rent this one again!

The dress was so flattering and classy - I loved it! The bust was a little tight but it made my chest look bigger than it is so that's a plus! The details of the brocade and the color made this dress perfect for a fall wedding. I would highly recommend it. I wore diamond earrings and a bracelet and paired it with a black shawl and clutch. Made it feel much more formal!

When the dress arrived it was very poofy and large. After being hung up overnight the heavy fabric slimmed down. It looked great for the wedding. The color is much darker than the one pictured.

The dress was a bit snug for my 34E bust even though I wore a size up. But I love the color and the pockets in the dress.

This dress was perfect for the outdoor wedding I attended on the Chicago River! It was heavy enough that I was warm, but light enough when I was dancing in it. It was comfortable, had pockets and received so many compliments! Best dress and I had a great stylist that choose this dress for me at the Chicago RTR location!

Received this as a backup and it fit well but has a change in the material at mid-boob that left an odd line across my chest. Wearing a bra helped a bit, but it would have been impossible to hide the bra. Loved the heavy weight, the pockets and the flare to the dress!

I had to get this dress as a back up when the dress I originally rented for New Years Eve did not fit. This dress was flattering, great quality and beautiful color. This dress worked because I was in a pinch but it was not super exciting for my New Years Eve party.

This Erin Erin Fetherston Berry Coco dress in size 6 has a v-neckline and is sleeveless with a fit and flare skirt with side pockets and has a hidden back zipper which was hard for me to close because it kept on getting caught in the fabric. This dress has an hook-eye closure. The shoulder area for my body type was too wide that the sleeves kept on falling down on me.

As others said this dress is maroon not red as the image on the site shows. But I loved the maroon and it matches my fiancé's maroon shirt perfect! This was a backup dress for Nee Years. The one I originally selected was a little too big and the boning had come through the fabric. This dress fit the occasion perfect. I had people I don't know walk up to me and tell me they loved the dress. One note. I seem to be in between sizes right now so the 6 was a little tight around the rib cage but strangely enough slightly loose in the chest area (I am a 32 DD). I think the tight fit up top helped to accentuate my figure for a great look.

As soon as I pulled this dress out of the bag, I was surprised by the weight of it. You can tell when a dress is of good quality by the weight and look/feel of the material, and this one gets two thumbs up from me on that front. I really wish there would've been a size 14 because as you can probably tell from the picture, my chest was a bit squashed. This dress material has no give or stretch so my suggestion would be to size up if you're unsure. To me, it felt like it ran small in the top sections (I'm pretty curvy with a D cup size and not-so-flat stomach though). The full skirt was completely amazing though (great twirling dress) and the color was perfect for a fall/winter wedding in TX. I wore it with nude heels, a matching statement necklace and a faux fur coat which pulled the look together. Once again, RTR did not disappoint!

First off, the construction of this dress is beautiful. Because of the embroidery the dress has a sheen in pictures that makes the fabric look a little flimsy, but nothing could be further from the truth. It's high quality fabric that has some weight to it, which was needed for the November wedding I wore it to. But petite ladies take note: this dress runs large in the torso. For me, the shoulders/armseye/bust were perhaps a size too large. I had to jerry rig the shoulder straps with some tape and ingenuity, so it looked a bit wonky, but it did the job. That said, I loved wearing the dress, and it was definitely the style I was hoping for! I'd hazard a guess that this is probably a great choice for curvy ladies, as it definitely doesn't lend itself to anyone with a short torso or low cup size.

I'm 5'2'' 135 and 34DD I ordered a size 8 and couldn't zip it. RTR was so great the overnighted a size 10 for me it fit fine except the shoulders kept falling all night. I got lots of compliments. I think it was great for a fall wedding!

I got this last minute as a back up because the original dress was no longer available. I really like the deep cranberry color. The material was thick and the dress was comfortable. It was a cute dress and my husband liked it but it just wasn't the "wow" look that I was going for with the original dress I ordered. BTW - it has pockets too. There was a little too much room in the bust area so may want to wear a bra to fill it out if small chested.

I am usually a size 4, but ended up wearing the 2 because I didn't really fill in the bust on the 4 (which is a common problem for me!). So the waist was nice and snug, but it was still comfortable for me to move around and dance. I loved wearing it and I loved all the compliments I got. I would say my favorite thing about the dress is the fabric and how it hangs. And the pockets!

Overall, great dress. I am a 34 DD, so the dress laid a little funny across my chest. It fit my waist perfectly, but you may want to size up if you're bustier.

The dress was much less shiny than in the pictures. It is more of a dark maroon color than the shiny reddish maroon in the pictures. That said, I still loved the sewn pattern on the dress - to me, that made the dress more interesting and classy. As for the fit, my only complaint was that it was a little big on the top. I have a large bust, so that part was fine, but since I'm short, the straps would move around a bit, and you could see my bra a little under the arms. Also, the dress has pockets! Overall, minus the top being a little big, I really enjoyed the dress. It was super comfortable and I could wear a regular bra!

I didn't plan on wearing this dress but what I had originally ordered arrived and didn't fit, so I exchanged it for this dress at the RTR Chicago location. It is pretty in person, the fabric is a rich looking burgundy brocade. It is knee length and has a full pleated skirt with pockets. It was comfortable and easy to dance and eat in. I do feel it runs slightly small in the waist area as I have found most fitted Erin Fetherston dresses. It's a pretty dress, not my favorite but good for the occasion and I received lots of compliments.

The 4 fit better than the 6 but I needed what little extra room the 6 provided for my 34DD chest. The top is fitted in a way that you could go sans bra (push-up) which cut into my chest in an unflattering way so there was no choice but to have them ALL OUT (the top and sides, not cute). The dress was heavy and gorgeous, beware that the color is a little darker in person. Realistically, I probably would have needed a size 12 to fit my top and 4 to fit my bod. I rented this before there were any reviews soooo that was a real gamble when my chest size is almost always an issue.

I was so infuriated when I received this dress. I had more than enough room when it was zipped up - I could have worn the next size down - but even still the zipper would get half way and not budge. My boyfriend had to help me for 10 minutes, and I have no idea how he finally yanked it up. I will never buy a dress from this designer. Absolutely bad quality control.

I still had a little baby weight and this dress perfect at hiding it.

I wore this for a formal cocktail party during a work conference. I got lots of compliments, but even better, I felt comfortable and beautiful the whole evening. Loved it!

This dress is fabulous. Fabric is beautiful and I love the cut. It fits to size and was exactly as other reviewed. Bodice was fitted, and skirt flared - perfect for my pear shape. If you are larger on top- you may try a size up for your backup. Zipper does stick a bit at the waist due to the weight of the fabric, my 8 year old zipped me, so it really was NOT an issue. Will rent this one again!

It was a little tight around the waist, but it was easy to wear without a bra. It was a little shorter than I'm used to, but I didn't feel self-conscious about it. Love the pockets!
