I usually wear a 6 or 8 but was definitely an 8 in this dress. It's is very fitted on the top. I had a wedding guest tell me I won "best dressed at the wedding" and had compliments all night. I already booked this dress again for another wedding later this summer. You will not be disappointed. This dress is why I love rent the runway.

I absolutely love the structure of the top, the length, and especially the pockets! I have a little bit of a broad rib cage so it did feel constricting and that is the only reason I am not purchasing. It fit well everywhere else and I got several compliments.

For a pear figure, size down. I rented the 2 and 4 and wore the 2 because it fit better in the chest.

My husband's new company had a holiday party so I wanted something that was fancy without being too flashy. This dress was perfect! I'm normally between a 2 and 4, and this dress is very fitted in the rib cage so the 4 was perfect while the 2 was a little too snug. I would wear this again in a heart beat!

Great quality fabric, flattering cut and was perfect for a formal New Years Day party. I was stopped multiple times by strangers to compliment the dress. It does wrinkle a bit, but we were seated for a while at a luncheon. Highly recommend!

This dress exceeded my expectations for my brother's summer wedding in Illinois. I could wear a normal bra and it was comfortable and fancy feeling. The material was very nice. It covers any stomach problem areas and was easy to dance in all night long. It was a unique twist on the little black dress and I really loved wearing it.

I loved this dress! This is my first time renting a dress and I'm loving the experience so far. I needed a dress that was modest and formal yet not fancy. I find it hard to find dresses that are different and that no one else has so I was excited to order this dress. Based on the reviews I sized up. I usually can fit into an 8 because I have a small waist, but a larger chest and butt (sounds great but so difficult haha). I was worried the 8 wouldn't fit because the reviews said to be careful if you're bustier so I went with a 10 and 12. Although the 10 fit, I definitely felt more comfortable and had more room in the 12. I'm short, 4'10, but worn with 4 in heels the dress hit right below the knee. The fabric is really nice and doesn't wrinkle, the pockets are super cute and barely noticeable so it doesn't make the dress look less elegant. The top half is more like a champagne color and paired really nice with the black. I definitely reccomend this dress and RTR :)

The dress was very structured and a thick, expensive material. The waist fell a little high on me, which is why I ultimately decided to wear the 6. This dress was extremely flattering and classy, I would definitely rent again!

The dress fit great! I'm very small up top so I didn't completely fill out the bust but the cut of the dress doesn't make it noticeable. The length was great for a work holiday party. I'm typically a 0 petite in dresses and I had no issues with fit. The material is thick and the 2 was much to big on me. The thickness of the material made the dress look boxy and not flattering when it is too big.

I wore this to a rehearsal dinner and felt so pretty! There is a little bit of a sheen to the material and its thicker and very flattering. Loved the pockets! Highly recommend! Super classy dress

The former comments that I read regarding this dress held up. I usually wear a size 2 dress but I wore the back up size 4 for the wedding because a 2 would have been too tight. I am 5'8 so another concern of mine was that it may be short but it was the perfect length! The dress is good quality and I received many compliments at the wedding.

I loved this dress! It runs true to size but it most likely works best for an average to smaller bust. The material is extremely high quality and arrived in perfect condition. The fabric is thick and luxurious with a gorgeous sheen. Wish I had this dress in my closet!

Material is high quality, i.e. thick &forgiving in the tummy. Top is champagne color, not white.The 10 fit but was a little tight in waist and the 12 was more comfortable.

This was the perfect dress for a summer wedding. It is a great cut and very classic style that I loved wearing. It does run small, I would recommend sizing up. I ended up wearing my true size 6, and would have likely been a bit more comfortable in the 8. Regardless, I would highly recommend this dress!

This dress is very classy and elegant. The chest is tight so go with a larger size. The only problem with that is the skirt also becomes fuller and longer. However, the dress didn't feel too big, and fit nicely. This dress photographs very well, and also has sweet little pockets.

It was a bit tight in the waist. I waited to order until about week before my event to order the dress and the size I probably needed (a 6) was out, so I could only get the 4 which was a little snug but still looked great. The dress is beautiful and a great length for a wedding.

I have enjoyed all of my RTR dresses but if I could own one, this would be it! The fabric, liner included felt so luxe, and it was a great find for a fun luncheon inside of a jewelry store! I would recommend for a cocktail party too, this luncheon is usually more "cocktail" attire than soft pastel flowy dresses. I felt like a million bucks and it had pockets. The fabric didn't wrinkle too much during the course of the luncheon but some parts were wrinkled by the end of the night (figured I'd wear it all day and then go out to dinner). I usually wear a size 4 or 6 from RTR and I wore the 6 on this occasion, and my back up was an 8 so I cannot compare to the 4. However, I could have probably fit into the 4, but the 6 was very comfy without making me look bigger, probably because of the clear and defined waist and cut of the dress!

I ordered a size 4 and 2. The 4 was a bit gappy, so I went with the 2. Very flattering fit!

Rented the 0 and the 2, the zero was slightly damaged on the zipper making it difficult to zipper off and on my body. I ended up wearing the 2 which fit very similarly just a little larger on top, but you couldn't tell and it looked great!! Such a classic dress, received compliments all night!

I was really happy with this dress. It was a little tight in the bust and waist than I am used to, so I went a size up to make sure I would be comfortable for the evening. The cut on the shoulders is flattering and I loved having pockets.

This dress has been my absolute favorite so far. The gold top is subtle in person, but under the lights and in photos, it glows and it's gorgeous. The XS was perfect for my upper body...not too tight for my curves and framed my body type well. The skirt portion wasn't too long and I adored the pockets!!
