As many others said, this dress runs small! I am normally a 6, but wore the 8, but probably could have done the 10! It fit alright, but was a bit snug and would ride up a little. With that said, as the night progressed it seemed to "relax" just enough! I loved the color contrast and the detailing of the top! Great dress!!

I'm a curvy 10, sometimes need to size up to a 12...this dress fit like a glove! As mentioned before, the top is a very off white, but still very beautiful. It was a bit shorter than I expected, but that may have to do with my bigger hips/bottom. Still wasn't an issue, it looked wonderful and everyone loved it!

Amazing dress! Gorgeous on, and the fit was perfect. The top was more off-tan than white (I was expecting it to be between white-eggshell), but I loved it. It was perfect semi-formal dress, just as the name suggested. A "taste of elegance". Con: I kept having to pull it down, but I'm a little hippy.

This fit absolutely perfectly. It definitely runs true to size. It's incredibly flattering since it hides your stomach, it'll make your chest look bigger if you're small chested but it won't make you look tacky if you have a chest. The material was a little thicker than I expected, but there's not wrong with that. Just be aware it's not a thin dress. Get help with the zipper, since it's hard to pull up at the section where the fabric changes colors. I went to a rehearsal dinner in this dress and the compliments were from young and old men and women. Everyone wanted it and thought it looked great.

I rented this dress for my wedding rehearsal dinner, and it was very flattering, and fit well, although I had to wear a size larger. It was comfortable and a good length, I would recommend it for a party, wedding, or other event.

The fit was true to size- a little snug but it definitely sucks you in and creates a tiny waist (especially if you are not curvy like me!). You don't need to wear spankx or any other slimming device with this dress; the material is thick enough and tight enough to act as one for you. I wore this to my bridal shower and got a ton of compliments! Everyone wanted to know where I got it from, and I definitely talked up Rent the Runway! I put my hair up so that it didn't distract from the amazing neckline of the dress too. I also wore it at night to my bachelorette party at a bar at night- it is a very fun and flattering dress! Would definitely recommend to others!

Great dress! I think it was a little snug on the hips, so I went for the 10 instead of the 8, but this dress would probably look good on a lot of body types. I felt classically beautiful without being boring. The best part is that you can wear any conventional bra comfortably and there is no need for spanx. I'm on the taller side and it was slightly short, but I like short dresses so it worked. If you like your legs, you should be alright!

Beautiful dress. Best suited for smaller women. The larger sizes fit, but just look better on someone more petite.

I loved this dress. I wore it to a family reunion, and I got tons of compliments on it. I ended up going with the backup size, so it would be a little longer (I needed a more conservative look), but my regular size fit well too. Definitely recommend.

This dress was extra short, but it looked and felt so good on! I received compliments all night. This was my first rental and I will certainly rent from RTR again!

I rented this dress for my wedding rehearsal dinner. Unfortunately, due to weather this dress was delivered after the event. So, I never did get to wear it. Although, it did look beautiful. Hopefully I'll have another event in the future when I can rent it again.

absolutely amazing! i felt sexy and conservative! the skirt is a little short and i had to go with the larger size because of my hips, but i got so many compliments and was very pleased this was the dress i chose for my graduation! i definitely recommend it!

This dress fit me perfectly and sooo flattered my figure...helping to hide my tummy imperfections. You do need a steamer to open up the flowers that come flattened when mailed. Loves this dress!!

I rented this for a function with my husband, it was my back up dress which I ended up wearing. On the hanger it did not impress me but once I put it on it was beautiful. It did not make my large bust seem over the top and offered great coverage, the bottom part hid my bloated pms tummy quite nicely. My only issue was the seam of the skirt was a little frayed.

This dress fit true to size, but the skirt was a bit short on me, I'm 5'7" though, so on the tall side. Still a cute dress!

This dress is flattering, but if you've got hips/curves, it's going to be short! I rented this dress for a black and white themed party, so I was a little disappointed that the top is more of a cream/off-white color than it looks in the picture. Other than that, I got a ton of compliments on the dress, and the material has enough stretch/give to it to be really comfortable.

The dress didn't wow me at all. The top portion of it looked sort of worn and was sort of a "dirty off white" color. The dress runs small and it is short (I am 5'1 and I thought it was a bit short). I could maybe see someone who is really thin with a model-ish body pulling this off well but I just wasn't a huge fan of the dress overall.

This dress top is more of a cream color but it is beautiful. It really does hug my curves and hides the imperfections! I loved it.

The dress is gorgeous, but did not flatter my body type at all. The gathered material on top and bottom did well to hide bumps and such, but since it was not fitted it did not suit my shape on top. I think this dress would be stunning on someone with a straight body type (thin, fewer curves, small chest). Size-wise, both my sizes fit well, but the larger size had a little more length.

I thought this dress would have more pizazz. It was too tight and short. I had the 6 and 8 I believe. The material was matte and it just didn't lay right. I returned it and RTR was amazing in quickly getting me an alternate dress.
