I wore this to a friend's black tie wedding. I'm normally a 4 and the 4 fit perfectly, even for my height of 5'8". The material is very comfy and it stretched enough for me to dance without feeling restricted. Only minor complaint is that the V neck kept shifting slightly throughout the night, probably because of the way the fabric pulls over to one side. Loved it - would wear again.

I wore this to a Mardi Gras ball in 2011. This dress was my first RTR rental and actually a replacement for my original order. Both the dress and backup didn't fit; I had added a backup dress that I hated! RTR was so accommodating; they let me order another dress to replace the original 2! I hit the jackpot. This is my fave rental even now, after I've ordered so many since then. I love DVF, and the fit was perfect. It shows just enough cleavage, hides any trouble areas, and several people said I looked taller which was another plus.

Very comfortable and flattering dress! I wore it to a black tie optional party. I didn't think the slit on the leg was severe or daring as described in previous comments. I'm 5'7" and the slit came up to about mid thigh. The dress is fitted right under the bust and has no stretch, so if you're wide in the ribcage like me, size up. I'm a 36B and the size 8 was perfect.

Lovely dress and so comfortable I felt weightless. The fit was perfect, although the slit doesn't show in the picture and is quite daring in front; a sort of Angelina Jolie look with the leg. Felt very chic and glamorous. Would definitely rent again.

I wore this to my niece's wedding. I thought it looked good but two total strangers made a point of telling me it looked great. I am 58, grey, 5'7" and about 140 lbs. People don't normally stop me to tell me I look good! The waist was snug but the dress has a nice flow when I moved and it weighed nothing. It was as comfy as walking around in your jammies. Also a plus, it needed no special underwear.

This dress was elegant. I am 140 lb and wear a 36E bra size. I couldn't zip it until I put on some spanx...and voila! The cut was a little too low b/c I am short waisted and showed a little too much cleavage but it still worked. Although, the material is chiffon, I wasn't expecting it to be so wrinkled. Knowing this I would have ordered it a day sooner and had it steamed. I hung it near the shower, shook it out and hung it again. Most of the wrinkles came out. The dress was so comfortable it felt like I was wearing a nightgown. The length was perfect. It barely touched the floor. It would have worked fine if I was a little taller, too. I wored it with a Givenchy crystal necklace, bracelet and earrings. I would love to own this dress.

This is a BEAUTIFUL dress. I rented it for my prom and, as I'm usually a size 4, expected the 4 to fit, but it bagged around the bust, so I wore the 2, which fit perfectly. I wore spanx underneath, which sometimes showed through the slit in the middle when I sat down (eek!), but the slit otherwise proved to be a very ergonomic aspect of the dress. I liked that when I walked, the dress flowed in a very dramatic manner. The dress also photographed very nicely, and was surprisingly va-va-voom! All in all, a big thumbs-up.

I was unsure about this dress until I put it on. Loved it!!!! It fit so well and really elongated my body (+ a fun pair of heels!)!! It was a great dress with a very fun front slit up to mid-to-lower thigh. It was a pleasant surprise and made it easy to walk.

The front slit was much higher than I expected, so I had to be careful on the dance floor!

Great dress to play up the accessories. Super comfortable for a formal event!

Didn't realize the severe slit in the front and the underslip had a small hole in it, so I did not wear this choice for the wedding

Beautiful draping, but way too much for my height. I didn't end up wearing it but if you rent it, make sure you're comfortable in that much dress and wear platform heels. It is a gorgeous dress, but didn't work for the wedding I attended.

It ran really small, even though I rented a size larger. Didn't fit or look too great on me, figured that the dress is best suited for a leaner body type.

I didn't hate this dress, but I didn't love it. (Luckily I rented a backup--the Vera Wang Prussian Satin Strapless Dress--which I did end up loving.) This one was comfortable and it fit true to size, but it just wasn't flattering. I asked for my boyfriend's honest opinion, and he hesitated for a moment before saying I looked like I was wearing a body bag! The back is also extremely boring. Not recommended.

Was a beautiful dress, but didn't fit my bust :-( Had to return without wearing.
